He never thought that he would seen her differently.

Because after all, he was an idol first before he worked on acting.

And cute girls were the usual daily things that he encountered.

But then....

She was never the ordinary cute girl.

That's true, when he first met her, they were as awkward as any pairing would ever do in this k-dorama world.

Because in Korea, like it or not, the culture was not as liberal as the western was.

So it was obvious, both were struggle with so many kiss scenes.

Their lips were literally met on the first kiss.

That's all, his lips were cold and hers were tremble.

They retrieved their lips as soon as possible when the director said 'cut'.

But Kim Hyun Joong was a very determined person.

And awkwardness was something that was not really an ingredient for a recipe of successness.

So he started to talk to her privately.

Like, really talk, not on script.

And he found out that both of them were playful people.

Prank, would be their middle name separately.

Chaos, was their 'couple' name when together.

Then their mouth opened a little bit during the second (and the third) kiss scene.

After that, he found a new addiction:

sat beside her and yawned.

Because then she had a new addiction too:

massaged him.

And oh boy, she's a great masseur.

They became an Oppa and Dongsaeng couple after that.

He liked it because she was so comfortable with him.

Until.....

Their lips melted with each other when they took that kiss vi-a-vis confession scene on the rain.

The director applauded them for no NG on that scene.

She was also clapping and giggling the whole night.

Yet, while he was very witty at that night,

his heart rebelled against his head.

That's when he realized that Playful Partner was no longer enough.

He wanted her and she could not know.

And he wondered if actually he wanted them to back to square one.

Because when they were awkward, his heart won't be beating as fast as it did everytime she smiled.

The BTS takes was the one you should blame for me to write this. But Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min are fun to be watched, mostly offscreen :)
