Character Description

I found out recently that there are people who like brief character descriptions and also people who hate it. Honestly, I love reading them because it gives me an idea on what to expect from the characters. Of Course, some hate it though because it tends to spoil the story too much.  Anyways this is just a way for me to escape the debate that's going on in my head about whether I should add a Character Description or not. @_@ *selfish motives*

Sorry if the descriptions seem a little lacking. I was a little out of it while typing a good portion of it. Also I admit I got too into making the description at some parts so it does spoil the story a little. I apologize for that.   _(-.-)_

--Your Life's Canvas--

"Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can." ~Danny Kaye

Main:

Yoseob, Your typical nerd... Or Maybe not?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yang Yoseob

Age: 16

Half way through his first year of High School

-----

Yoseob is a quiet, smart student at school.

He rarely talks, always has his nose in a book, and of course--  easily bullied.

If that wasn't already enough to earn him the nerd title, he also wears the typical black, round nerd glasses. His style of dressing is even a little too 'nerdy' for a normal student's taste. He tends to sport old, out of fashion shirts that are about three sizes too big for him and oversized, baggy kaki pants.

His grades on exams usually range him in the top two of his class, top five of his grade, and top twenty of the school. Needless to say he is extremely smart, however, his athletic abilities pales in comparision to his academic abilites. His usual Gym period ends when he is too slow and the coach orders him to sit out.

He works part time at the store called, "Your Life's Canvas." He is the cashier there and usually takes on the role of a waiter and helper as well.

He has somewhat of a mysterious personality. No matter what people do he rarely talks, smile, or anything of that kind. It's almost impossible to even make his facial expression change, even when he is bullied and thrown around.

Of course all of this is just his public persona.

In real when he is not around students from his school, he dresses much more stylish and usually you can see a small smile adorning his face --even if it's usually fake.

He is a bit more talkative and as well as easier to talk to.

Contradicting what the people at school thinks, he actually doesn't study, and rarely ever picks up a book outside school. He is just a natural genius. The only reason he does pick up a book during school is for his job at "Your Life's Canvas". Reading stories is part of his job as a helper so he can recommend stories if needed.

Also his athletic ability, by far better than most. He is actually gifted in most sports, and an extremely fast runner. He is also skilled in martial arts... Did I mention he has abs? Once again nobody at his school knows of this because of the purposeful nerd facade he places up.

He usually tries to maintain a friendly facade around people. The only person whom he shows his real smile and nice side to though is his best friend -- Kikwang, who lives a few cities over. He is the only person alive that he lets his guard down around, as well as the only person he truly loves, in a brotherly way.

He is a firm believer in the phrase, "Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can." Therefore he rarely regrets anything he does, and almost everything he actually does do has a reason behind it. The nerd facade at school, the friendly facade in public, even his job at "Your Life's Canvas".

Compared to a normal teenager his age-- compared to most adults even-- he has experienced much more in life; especially the darker side of it.

--That's all I will explain about him, otherwise I might spoil the story too much.

Doojoon, Your Perfect Boy Wonder

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yoon Doojoon

Age:16

Half way through his first year of High School

-----

Doojoon is a popular, widely loved student at school.

He doesn't talk much but is very easy to approach and talk to. You often can find him with a small, genuine smile on his face.

He is wealthy -nobody knows how much though- and usually wears very stylish clothing.

His grades on exams usually range him around the top two of his class, top five of the grade, and top ten of the school. Likewise he is also very talented in sports and anything athletic, his favorite sport being soccer.

His parents live in the next city over, but he lives alone in his own house located close to the middle of the city. When his parents moved he decided to stay there alone so he can continue to go to the same school- for a certain reason. He actually has a crush on a classmate of his, and to this day nobody knows about it.

He doesn't have a job, because his parents send him enough money and extra to spend every month.

When he is not at school he can be found either studying or hanging out at the shop, "Your Life's Canvas." He hasn't been going there long though.

He was hanging out with some of his older friends that attended the local university when they asked him if they wanted to meet again at that place. He didn't know what it was and they explained to him that it a cool place to hang out. He agreed, went there the next day, and fell in love with the place. The store's modo "Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can." really hit him and that became his favorite quote. From that day on that was place he hanged out, be it relaxing, studying, or hanging out with friends.

Because he goes there so much, it actually became a hotspot for people from his school as well. It was relatively close to the school, not close enough you could see the school, but close enough to walk to it from there, so naturally with him going there and it being so easy to walk to, it became the it place.

So far he has had a pretty nice life. He's smart, rich, gifted, loved and the only downfall being his unrequited love. Nobody would know from all this that he actually hid a dark secret.

--Again I would continue on but I might spoil it. Also I'm trying to keep it vague and detailed at the same time but that's not going so good. Sorry.

Minor:

Lee Kikwang.

Age: 16

Half way through his first year of High School

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Kikwang is Yoseob's only and best friend.

He is the typical muscle idiot. He loves to exercise and discover news way to avoid the 'worst invention mankind has ever made' -as he likes to calls it- or otherwise known as homework and studying (aka books.)

You can usually find him with a really cute eye smile decorating his face.

The style of clothing you can often find him in is skinny jeans and tank tops. He loves showing off his arm muscles -and his abs whenever he has a chance. He likes experimenting with the colors of his tank top so it isn't bland. He never wears a jacket, a vest? Maybe, but probably only two or three times a week.

To Kikwang he has many friends, but he only calls one person 'Best' friend and that is Yoseob. He loves Yoseob (brotherly) very much and when Yoseob had to move he nearly dropped to the ground crying. He would have if Yoseob didn't tell him he would try to keep in contact as much as he can. When they were younger he was friends with Yoseob from the very beginning and when he missed a significant part of Yoseobs's life he felt like killing himself for not being there for him. He wishes to be there for thick and thin for Yoseob, and so far he has done quite well. But, then again Yoseob moved, so he was unable to be there for his best friend.

So when one event leads to another event, let's just say he becomes extremely happy. (or otherwise known as I'm trying to say he moved and was able to transfer to Yoseob's school and can be with his best friend again. YAY! BEST FRIENDS UNITE!)

----He is somewhat of a major and minor character

Yong Junhyung

Age: 16

Half Way through first year of High School

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yoseob's main bully.

He is smart and athletic and typically nice to everybody -except Yoseob.

It's unknown to everybody why he hates Yoseob so much. Theories go around that maybe Yoseob said something bad, hurt him in some way, or hurt somebody close to him in someway. Of course all of these are wrong and not even close.

In all actuality, he likes Yoseob alot, maybe a little too much.

It's actually just misjudgement of his feelings. He's in denial that he has any kind of love feeling towards Yoseob and covers it up by making himself think that he hates him. He's not gay. At least that's what he thinks.

Jang Hyunseung

Age: 16

Half way through his first year of High School

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Junhyung's best friend.

He has a crush on his best friend. He's not gay though. Just gay for Junhyung.

He's really smart but a little lacking on the athletic side.

Son Dongwoon

Age: 15

Half way through his last year of Middle School

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Smart...in a bad way. He is extremely smart but doesn't aim it towards school. More towards annoying his friends- Junhyung and Hyunseung.

He is the friend that know everything in the complex love relationship I plan on making.

There will be more characters throughout the story. These are just some the ones I will use more. Thanks for Reading. _(-.-)_
