Money situation was bad, so they were in lower middle class/border lining poor. Cousins and grandparents live in Busan, South Korea.Her brother now attends Seoul University (full scholarship) and is often overprotective of his younger sister.

Personality: She's very frugal and somewhat of a cheapskate. Buys almost everything at a sale (like a complete ahjumma when it comes to money and sales), checks her bank account almost daily, and reads the contract/hires a lawyer to do it. Reviews the group's bank account too. Because of this, she's great at math and reading. She nags the members if they spend too much money. Loves money (coming from her poor background) She has a weak side with stuffed animals and cute characters though. She's very dependable and keeps secrets easily and is surprisingly stubborn on certain things. Usually she's a push-over and easily convinced. She's somewhere inbetween girly and tomboyish. Isn't easily frightened.
A bit touchy, she likes to hug her members and hold their hands like a little kid. She's the childish one, but can act mature and isn't as innocent as she seems (gets dirty jokes and finds them humorous). Usually a sweet, childish, mild-tempered girl with a laidback it's very hard to get her mad. But if she gets angry, she's falls silent and refuses to talk. Can hold a grudge for a long time.
 Doesn't want to be anyone's disappointment on stage. She practices a lot (especially her singing) and dancing (which she fails at). She's lazy about everything else though. She's a slob and her room is often a mess.
Sometimes struggles with Korean, especially hard vocabulary. Not to mention, when she talks too fast in Korean, her Busan accent comes back. Working hard to get rid of that!
