So... I am writing an Eunhae-story where Donghae cheated on Eunhyuk. On AFF there are so many stories about cheating. And most of them end with the couple making up again and the hurt part fogiving the cheating part. And I am just wondering; the authors to these stories, did they ever have someone cheating on them? Do they realise the effects cheating has on the people around them? 

My parents got divorced because my dad kept accusing my mum of cheating on him. Years later I found out that he had actually been cheating on my mum while he accused her of cheating. As if that wasn't enouhg to destroy my faith in mankind and faithfulness, I have my first (and last) boyfriend 4 years ago. While we were together, he cheated on me at least once a week (1.14 times a week; I did the math...). Let me tell you something; even though you love a person, you should not let that person treat you like that. "It was a mistake!", "It meant nothing!", "I was drunk!".... It is poor excuses and I honestly have a hard time respecting people who believe in them. If I had found out about my ex's escapades while we were together, it had been the end of it immediately. 

There is nothing romantic about cheating. There is no mistakes, no "it meant nothing"'s, no excuses. Cheating is unacceptable. And if you respect yourself you would throw the cheater out the moment you found out.
