Been a long time since I last wrote a drabble. This quote was a little difficult, so I shortened it a little (The series revolves aorund murder, so the quotes get a little too dark in my opinion sometimes for a drabble). I want to write a drabble for every one of them, so :)

“She does not deserve to be treated like this.”

Donghae said sternly while eyeing his good friend disapprovingly. Hyukjae merely grinned, his eyes fixed on the wine glass in his hand.

“Let me tell you a story, Donghae-ah.”  He glanced at Donghae before his eyes lingered away again. “This world was originally created out of nothing. Every person, when born, starts with nothing. What you get, is a gain, but not guaranteed to stay with you forever.”

Hyukjae smirked as he played with the liquid in the glass.

“One person’s gain… Is another person’s loss.”

If the world really has retributive justice, then I believe that it is dust to dust and earth to earth. This world was originally created out of nothing.
