Just some visual detail to Kris's life/home, they're not entirely accurate portrayals, but close enough.
Some people who have visited these places with him have gotten confused, so this should help

Kris's home is on top of a steep hill; there is tall long dead grass, holes and snakes
The hill is connected by several smaller ones that gradually become smaller and smaller and eventually leads into town
He lives in a gothic mansion

Kris's favorite places;
The Bookstore: This place does not have ordinary books, it has spell books and information on every being that is not human. It is hidden behind shrubbery and lies at the end of a golden brick path near the edge of the elven world which is the closest and farthest Kris will cross over the world border. The old owner (Lyle) and his wife (Meiya) are like family to Kris and love when he brings company. Though they troll him often. Their home and the shop are connected. They do not reveal their true species but control magic, one cannot figure out of they are vampire or elf; but Kris thinks it's neither.
The Meadow; A large free field of grass, flowers and trees a little past Kris's backyard. If he's not strolling the town at night then he's here alone free from others. He stumbled upon it by mistake when fencing his yard and had claimed the place as his own. At night the moon shines down on the flowers and every individual petal glows. Fireflies light the night as well as the stars that stare down into it. The sky is clearly seen. There is also a large pond that Kris often sits by. He comes to this place to think or rest. Not many know about this place since he treasures it more than his life and such a place should not exist in the vampire world.
Ice:the Bar; Kris's favorite bar that is found in the darkest alley of the vampire world. It is mainly full of male vampires who are extremely cruel and merciless and love a good brawl. Kris feels at home amongst these beasts and is well known here. The bartender knows him quite well and already has Kris's drinks prepared for him once he enters the doors. The few females in this bar are mainly dykes or escorted by a gentleman, but they will be harassed nonstop. Despite the nasty beasts inside, Ice is considered a club for 'Gentlemen'.
Moon Hyomi
Kris's first and last real love; why one person will never be so special again
He first saw her while studying abroad in Canada and instantly fell for her but believed she was out of his league. She was sweet, kind, caring and beautiful. But her biggest charm to him was her gentle heart. Everyday he left flowers and poetry on her balcony, never titling his name or approaching her due to shyness. One night she found him climbing a tree in her yard and almost called the police until she saw the flowers in his hands.She recognized him as the new student and gradually warmed up to him. For the first time in his sad poverty-stricken life; he was happy. But her controlling parents forbade them from seeing each other, but the two did so behind their backs anyway. Hyomi was Kris's first everything. He proposed to her and the two were engaged.
When Kris returned to China (after a sad temporary parting from Hyomi) to see his mother, he only met a grave. He was outraged and destroyed everything in his path. Hyomi, who heard the news flew to see him immediately. Her timing was extremely bad and by accident, Kris had murdered her with his own hands, not knowing his possessed and vampiric side had emerged.
Not a day goes by that he doesn't regret it.

Meiya: She is neither vampire nor elf but controls magic. She has been alive for more than five milleniums and has seen many things, including the extinction of the human race. She loves reading and has been collecting books since she was alive. Her personal favorite hobbies are getting her hands on forbidden books, using small magic, and cleaning. When performing stressful amounts of magic, she has to change into a younger and stronger body.
Lyle: Owner of the bookstore, Meiya's husband (yay for couple!). He loves the news and gossip that goes on through town. Kris believes he is human but Lyle can control small amounts of magic thanks to Meiya. He is 102 years old, but for some reason he's indrecibly strong and likes to use that strength to beat Kris around. He was the only one who witnessed his and Meiya's only child disappear in a mysterious fog. Kris is like the son he's never had and he disciplines him like his own kid.
Diavolo: He is one of the anon vampires. He is considered the Devil. He saw Kris's interest in joining his league and was interested with Kris's potential and said he would raise Kris as his own son and be the father Kris never had. Kris does not see Diavolo in this way, but he appreciates the support and powers bestowed upon him by Diavolo. Diavolo has removed the witch energy that once powered Kris's life and replaced it with a bit of his own soul, giving Kris the power of shadows and a second heart so he could live. Despite the fact that Kris hates this man with every bit of his being, he would risk himself for Diavolo. Diavolo beats both Siye and Kris since they are under his wings.
Siye: This blond thin boy of European descent is as powerful as a demon. One of the anon vampires. He's been pressured by all of the responsibility that Diavolo has put on him since he was abandoned as a toddler. He was relieved once Kris arrived to take the weight but he wanted the power and title that was supposed to be his but would be given to Kris once Kris joined the anon vampires. He is soft-hearted at times and is often beaten by Diavolo because of that, other than that he's crueler than a heartless monster. He hates Kris more than anything but the two often take care of each other.
