Starting Fresh

Hello, Sharklings.

My friend is doing math homework and I'm entertaining myself. I felt like popping in and updating a few things.

I deleted all my old blog posts. I was sick of my rambling. No one really reads them amongst the gaggle of other posts popping up in their notifactions (can it be called a gaggle?) I considered going back and deleting a bunch of old stories but felt that might have been a very stupid decision.

So a few housekeeping things:

  • It's almost been a year since I posted my first story! I'm still debating whether or not to do anything commemorative or not. I don't really view it as that big of a deal. Maybe I'll actually update Monster? Haha.
  • Chapter 7 of Mato's Finest is currently being written. Once I finish that one, only one more chapter and an epilogue, then it's complete! I hope you guys enjoy the last couple of chapters, as well as the story as a whole. It's been a lot of fun to write. That is, once I actually get my into gear and sit down to write it. I'm too easily-distracted for my own good.
  • Next on the list is either the first three chapters of The Little Sun or a request (maybe two). I'm debating when to start writing a few lyrical oneshots.
  • I'm currently in the planning stages for a new multi-chapter based partially off the song "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" by Panic at the Disco and partially off Evanescence's video for "Everybody's Fool." I haven't listend to Evanescence in ages but seeing the video again sparked some ideas.
  • If you guys have read it, what do you think of Throwing Knives and Witches' Eyes? Or the whole idea of the AU in general? I'm sort of treating it like one of my brain babies but, like all my original stories, it doesn't have to be posted if it bores everyone and starts cluttering everything.
  • Let's see... hmm... oh right. I plan on keeping up with the ProTips. I just have to remember what I was planning on writing for the next few tips. Is that any help to any of you Sharklings?
  • I feel like I had a few other topics to cover, but my laptop is at home and thus so is my list of things to write.

Personally, I started reading more books again, instead of sitting around waiting for nothing to happen. I just started the Host by Stephanie Meyer (choice words for that book: ugh ugh ugh ugh). Honestly I can't stand her writing, but the plot is fairly interesting so far and it's been highly recommended by Cynical and a few other friends so what the heck. I also am planning to get back into the twice/thrice a week Zumba trips, as well as very seriously launching myself back into contortion training. I've been slacking off severely and it's a great way to take my mind off things. Cirque du Soleil may not be a realistic dream at all, but I would love to at least make cirque school possible. In the midst of all that, I want to take up piano again (need to get the bugger tuned first) and start doing more covers with video instead of just singing over the original audio on garageband.

Well, I think that's just about it. The deadline for online class applications was today, so I'm hoping to hear from the college soon so I can go ahead and register for my classes and calculate tuition.

Busy busy busy, just how I love it.

Peace!
