My kpop story :D

Annyeonghaseyo! :D My name is Ukwonbias09! :) Okay well, that's my user name on here not my actual name! And ukwon is no longer my ulitmate bias :/. He hasn't been for sometime but I still love him to death! If you must know my ulitmate bias right now is Yonghwa from CN Blue :). So gorgeous :3 anyways! Moving on from that...I have news to share that I felt like sharing for some odd reason! I have been a kpop fan for 9 months starting tomorrow! :) And I've been obsessed with for 9 months starting tomorrow. I first discovered kpop when I was watching a Tokio Hotel music video or some random video of their's since at one point I was completely in love with them (don't get me wrong I still love them soo much! Bill Kaultiz is forever my love <3 no matter how girly he maybe and he isn't gay either!!) and I saw this song that was called "Love Like This" by SS501 and I was a stupid kid who was unware of Korean's even being alive let along kpop.

So I clicked on the video not understand a single word but I loved it for some reason! I looked up SS501 and picked (What i called at the time my favorite instead of bias) my very first bias Kim Hyun Joong. Then I saw someone called Taeyang and his song "Wedding Dress" which honestly at first I hated don't ask why I just did, but now I love it soo much! At that point I wasn't addicated since I couldn't really find anything on SS501 so I just kind of push them aside. I only listened to "Love like this" every once awhile not really getting obsessed or addicated. Then when I heard that Drew Ryan Scott had written that song and gave it to them (it was orginally Varisty Fanclub's but they gave it to SS501, Drew Ryan Scott who is part of VFC wrote the song and knows SS501 LUCKY DUCK!!).

I listen to VFC's version (yes you guessed it I was OBSESSED with them >.<) and got it memozied so I know "Love Like This" in english and can translate it. Also the song "Babysteps" was Drew Ryan Scott's song too. Since VFC is having troubles in the music business I think they sell a lot of their songs because they keep starting over which is sad since they have a ton of talent! ANYWAYS! Back to kpop! So after I found out that SS501 was korean (I also had no idea about north korea later I asked my mom why no bands were from North Korea then she told me about it, North Korea sounds awful I feel bad for those people) I tried other bands but I never got addicated.

Then on my 16th birthday my best friend was playing some music that sounded familar to "Love Like This" and I was like hey have you heard of this song? And she was like yeah! You should listen to this band and this band. In the end she gave me some CD's and a list pages long of kpop bands to look up. I was hooked. My first obsession was Super Junior, I fell in love with Yesung when I heard his note in "It's You". Then from there I got hooked. This other best friend of mine got rehooked to it since she had been a big DBSK fan but faded away when she got back into kpop she was sad to see they had broken up. I on the other hand just thought they had always been a group of 2 but when I found out they were 5 I was so sad to see this amazing group brake up. I miss them :/.

So now this friend who was hooked to DBSK isn't obsessed with kpop anymore :/ but that's okay everyone had their own obsessions mine still happens to be kpop. No worries I have another spam buddy whose bias list I wreck >:D. I've been hooked on kpop for 9 months, at one point I thought I was over my obsession then all these epic new rookie bands came out and I was rehooked! And plus all the non-new kpop groups where releasing epic new songs. I don't know how my friend became unaddicated to kpop but I can't seem to be come unaddicate and I really don't want to. I always find a reason to stay addicated.

I used to love Justin Bieber (my first obsession) then that lead to me to Varsity Fanclub, then somehow I found Tokio Hotel then Pixie lott, then One Direction. So I've gone through some obsessions >.<. But Kpop has been the best by far :). Anyways, I'm a proud kpop fan of 9 months! I am so glad I got addicated to Tokio Hotel because I don't think kpop would be in my life is wasn't for them but then again I probably would have liked them at my party because of my friend. Okay in the end I would have ended up loving kpop :). So, I am a proud kpop fan and American pop isn't my thing anymore too fake for me sorry. Kpop FTW!! :D

What's your kpop story? :)
