Seung Rin has always been classified as an introvert, prefering to be alone rather than in a crowd. People see her as the hard to approach girl, giving off a cold and scary personality. Truthfully, she's just very socially awkward, not being able to communicate well with people as the only friend she'd had before was her older brother, Song Seung Jin.

Because of her lack of communication skills, Seung Rin has an incredibly honest personality. If she thinks something isn't right, she'll tell you off. If she finds nothing wrong, she'll agree. Her harsh criticisms and blunt comments seems to drive people away from her, viewing her as haughty and prideful. Partly, she is. Seung Rin values her dignity and pride above all else, so she's careful not to let people realize how naive she is to the real world.

Seung Rin's mother is a known fashion designer, working with most idols, be it male or female. Ga Eun, her mother, favored Seung Rin, having inherited her late father's apppearance. Because of this, her mother thought it would be best to homeschool her until she thought she was 'ready'. Because of Ga Eun's wealth and influence, Seung Rin was eventually transferred to North High School during her first year, currently, she's in her third year now and still maintains her awkwardness around others.
