Bio:
Dora was just a baby when she and her 9 year old brother YunHo were put for adoption by their mother. They were taken in by a nice couple who had no children. They treated Dora and YunHo well, providing them family love and everything they needed. However, as she was growing up, Dora turned out to be a rather stubborn and somewhat problematic child. She didn’t like to be said what to do, she always had her own visions and her own ways. Her parents started to think that she was ungrateful and started to punish her fairly often by locking her in her own room or ignoring her and not talking to her for the whole days. YunHo was also forced to ignore her but he couldn’t. YunHo always secretly talked to Dora because he didn’t approve of punishments Jungs were setting upon his little sister but he couldn’t really speak up to their parents.
As the time passed by, 10 year old Dora was becoming less rebellious but all those punishments had a large effect on her. She rarely talked to anyone apart from her brother, she was practically mute. She stopped showing any emotions and would often start spacing out. Sometimes she would also utter weird thoughts to herself during those space outs like ‘Bye, dear Angel’ and ‘I love you too, Mom’. Her parents found her actions very weird and so they took her to hospital and the doctors told them that Dora was an Indigo child, a child who is believed to have ‘supernatural’ powers. Jungs were then convinced that their daughter was insane and they’ve sent her to an asylum for insane teenagers in Philippines. She was only 13 at the time and she missed her brother so much that during her stay in Philippines she didn’t show any progress of ‘getting better’ and so she was sent back to her family in Korea.

Personality:
Dora is very quiet and shy and prefers listening to others rather than talking about herself. When around strangers or people she sees for the first time, Dora is extremely nervous and she won’t talk at all. Even though she’s 17, Dora is still practically a child. She’s very naïve and easily gets scared or hurt and when she does, she doesn’t let anyone touch her for days. She rarely cries in front of someone and she prefers hiding when she does. Dora is a type of a person that believes that after rain comes sunshine, on other words, even during the darkest hours, she hopes that someday things will be better. Even though she’s shy around people, that doesn’t mean she likes being alone. In fact, she loves when someone has enough patience to talk her through her muteness and simply wants to get to know her. When she feels like she needs comfort but there’s no one to go to, Dora finds it in what she does the best and what she discovered during her childhood days, dancing, music and books. She can be harsh on herself at times as she believes that whatever she does, she can always do it better than she’s already doing.
Dora is very curious, loves to learn only about things that interest her and can be very stubborn as she likes to do things her own way. She has a wild imagination and often spaces out into her own world. She might seem weird with her strange habits and actions but in reality, she’s a normal down-to-earth teenage girl. She needs a lot of time to open up to someone to show them her real personality but once she does, everyone can see that she’s a person anyone would love to be friends with. She loves laughing, making jokes and can be outgoing at times, but always in a good way. Her innocence and cuteness often leave her oblivious when she does something that gives a wrong idea to the others. Neverthless, she’s a good listener, trustworthy and loyal friend. Dora would fo anything to make someone feel better if they’re troubled and can give some great advices. She doesn’t hold grudges, she sees no point in doing that but if anyone ever hurts her it will take a lot of time and effort for that person to regain Dora’s trust.

What makes you 'insane':
Dora was diagnosed with selective mutism when she was 10, meaning she doesn’t talk at certain situations or with certain people. Two years later, she was diagnosed to be an Indigo Child which, according to her parents, makes her insane.
