Chosen Plotline : The Hunter

Background :
Daye was born as Jung Dae Yun, twelve mintues before his younger twin brother Jung Tae Yun. They were born on a cold January winter day, in the city of Gwangju, South Korea. Daye was raised in a very common human family, growing up to be extremly close with his twin brother. The twins were raised in a suburb right at the borders of the city, close to the forest. His whole life, Daye listened to stories about wolves who would come down from the forest and attack people to either eat them or turn them into one of them. Unlike many other kids his age, who came to fear their kind, Daye came to really dislike wolves. He was disgusted with how heartless they could be. So from an early age, Daye showed interest in martial arts and combat fighting, often practicing and training so that if the wolves ever come down from the forest, he can protect his ''eomma, appa and Tae'', as little Daye liked to say. Nevertheless, Daye had a relatively fun, carefree and normal childhood, with his beloved twin brother who he was closer to than anything else in his life. Until one day, his whole life was taken away from him just like that.
It was the middle of the winter, two weeks after his 12th birthday, that Daye's family was brutally murdered by a pack of wolves who came down from the forest. Daye wasn't at the scene at the time. He was held back by a teacher at school and stupidly enough, Daye told his brother to go home without him. When Daye got home later that evening, he walked into their house to witness a horrid scene of his father, his mother and his little brother, all dead, bodies dripping in their own blood. His parents' bodies were massacred beyond recognition, however, his brother was still barely breathing when Daye found him, bitten and scratched everywhere, without a hand and half a leg. Daye had to watch his younger brother fight for his breath until Tae Yun passed away in his arms. What Daye didn't realize was that there was another wolf from the same pack lurking outside of his house. As Daye went to get some help from the town, he ran straight into the said wolf, outside his doors. The wolf attacked him and Daye had a hard time fighting the animal off. In fact, as if loosing his family to a beast wasn't enough, in the midst of a fight, the wolf bit Daye on his right thigh. Daye knew that from that moment on, his life will never be the same. He was left with scars on the left side of his chest and on his right thigh to remind him of that. Fighting off the rather old wolf, Daye ran off into the woods, knowing that he can't be seen by humans at that moment. He found a small cave that he used as a shelter for that night as he went through his transformation, alone, in the cold night.
Days later, after his transformation, Daye made his way to Seoul where his family friend Miryo lived. She took him in, knowing what happened to his family first hand. Like many people, she also though Daye has disappeared the night his family was killed but seeing him standing at her doorway, she knew something else happened to him. Even though Daye refused to tell her what happened that night, she didn't push him to tell her but she knew that Daye is not the same as Daye she used to look after when they were younger. Daye spent next few years living with Miryo until he finished high school. He's gone through depressive times, his scars and monthly transformations reminding him of his misery. He had so many suicidal thoughts, wanting to end it right then and there but after a while he realized that he couldn't allow any more lives and families being destroyed by those beasts like his life has been ruined. His dissapointment in wolves, grew to hatred and dispise and he began to believe that wolves aren't even worthy of living. People  could tell him that wolves aren't all that bad but Daye would still think that all wolves have a maniacing killer within them. He hates the ''wolf'' part of himself, he considers it a curse and would do anything to change it. For every monthly trnasformation, he usually disappears into the woods surrounding Seoul, where he hides until his morphing period is over and then goes back to Seoul. If anyone asks, he usually says that he was in Mokpo to visit his family's grave.
Feeling grateful to Miryo for being with him through the hardest times, he wanted to repay her for that so as soon as he finished school, he went off to work as a mechanic at a local car repair shop so that he's not so much of a burden to his friend. One day, while he was working, a couple of hunters working for The Anti-Wolves Organization came down to have their van fixed. Daye engaged into a conversation with them and he found out that they were looking for young recruits to join their hunt for the wolves and their hybrids. Daye didn't hesitate to take the offer and after trying out and training hard, he joined the hunters in the extermination of the beasts that ruined his life.

Tae Yun depended and looked up to Daye while Daye adored him and took good care of Tae Yun. They looked after each other and shared so much that they really depended on each other. They had their little quarels here and there but they never stayed angry at each other for long. Daye misses his brother the most and blames himself so much for loosing the person he cared for so much and he whole 'extermination thing' is mainly for his brother. If only he didn't send him home earlier that night... | Dead

Family Friend | Jo Mi Hae a.k.a. Miryo ;; 32 | Human | understanding, smart, easy-going, talkative, reliable | Miryo is a family friend. Her parents and Daye's parents have known each other from their high school days so Miryo and Daye have known each other pretty much their whole lives. Despite the 10 years difference, Miryo found Daye and his brother adorable and she always considered them as her dongsaengs. When Daye's family was murdered, she took it upon herself to take care of him andeven though Daye doesn't trust her with his secret, she's suspicious about his behaviour and knows that Daye lost something else apart from his family that night they were killed. Daye relies on Miryo since she practically saved his life so many times when he got suicidal. Even though they drifted apart in the last 10 years after the death of Daye's family, Daye is grateful to Miryo for everything she's done for him. | Alive

''Follower'' Friend | Dong WooSuk a.k.a. King ;; 20 | Human | out-going, loud, rebellious, clingy, funny, childish| Honestly, Daye has no idea why he is putting up with a kid like WooSuk. That kid is always annoying him during his work and clings onto him like they were long time friends. In fact, the only reason why Daye puts up with WooSuk is because he is his boss' son and in a way he finds him amusing which at least somehow distracts him from wanting to rip apart anything that has a tail, fangs and fur. | Alive

Rival : Daye hates pretty much any wolf that comes his way
The Helper | -- ;; 21-24 | Human (Wolf) | Even though the helper is one of the hunters, he always seems to have some sort of a soft spot when it comes to killing the beasts. Daye noticed this more than the other hunters, and he despises it. The helper sometimes engages him into talks and tries to tell him how wolves have good sides as well but all that pretty much annoys the hell out of Daye and he often has to restrain himself from snapping at the Helper or even punching him.
 

▬ i am both jekyll and hyde

Personality : 
If you knew Dae Yun before he has lost his family, you would know him as a cheerful carefree boy who loved to spend days playing around with his twin brother Tae. Dae Yun was a lively kid, always ready for adventures and willing to learn something new. He was never a troublemaker and he was a son any mother could wish for, a great and reliable friend and brother and a smart student all the teachers loved. In few words, he was kind, polite, honest, helpful, modest, reliable and brave.
However, after the murder of his parents and his beloved twin brother, Dae Yun ‘died’ as well. The lively, loveable kid passed away with the last breath his brother exhaled in his arms. Maybe he would’ve been alright, if that night he wasn’t also bitten by a wolf and transformed into one. After that day, Dae Yun was never the same as his life was ruined. Nowadays, Daye rarely smiles or enjoys anything with joy that once used to gleam in his eyes when anything new was introduced to him. In one word, he is a very cold person. His eyes only portray sadness and regret over a loss of something very dear to him. He hides his true feelings behind an image of a total bad , shutting everyone out of his own world. He blames himself for what happened that night, mostly for what happened to his brother because if he let Tae Yun wait for him after school, he would’ve at least had his brother by his side right now.
Daye is not the friendliest person around. Approach him first and he will most likely give you a cold shoulder and ignore you. He is independent, a loner and prefers to be by himself because then he doesn’t have to rely on people and people don’t have to rely on him. It appears as if he thinks high of himself, having a great ego and showing a lot of attitude wherever he goes so people often describe him as arrogant. He is surrounded with a mysterious aura that attracts people to him but just one look from his cold eyes would tell you to back off. Daye is very straight forward and rather blunt and doesn’t hesitate to speak his mind. If he dislikes somebody, Daye shows it and often gets into fights because of his attitude. Even though he prefers avoiding fights, he doesn’t hesitate to stand up for himself if provoked. And he is quite temperamental. Call him heartless or ruthless, but Daye rarely backs off from a fight and when it comes to his job as a hunter, he has no troubles killing a wolf as he sees them as worthless beasts. Most of the time, it is hard to argue with him because, on one side, he is very stubborn, and on the other side, he knows how to play with words. Daye is quite a sweet talker. He knows how to act or speak around certain people, even though he avoids speaking to people at all. He can be quite manipulative and can flatter people very well with sweet and flattering words.
However, no matter how cold or repulsive he may be, Daye only uses that façade to cover up a lost and depressed young man who has lost everything dear in his life. Even though he finds it hard to trust people and takes his time opening up to someone, when that special someone sees through his façade, they discover a totally different Daye who smiles and enjoys being around people. Daye is in fact a very kind and sweet man with a loyal and caring nature. He is a bit of a jealous type and can get quite over-protective over something or someone precious to him. It is incredible how much in common he has with wolves, the animals he hates so much. He has his weak moments. He prefers hiding them and if something is bothering him, he will keep it inside of him until it cracks him. However, another common thing Daye shares with wolves is that he has a great pride and would never ever cry in front of someone or admit that he needs help.

What is your role in the anti-wolves movement ? : As a Hunter for the Anti-Wolf Organization, Daye has a role to hunt for the wolves and preferably kill them beasts. Call him heartless, but he wishes to exterminate their kind, and believes that that way so many families and lives will be protected and not ruined like his and in a way, by hunting down the wolves Daye avanges the loss of his family.

What do you think about wolves, in general ? : Daye sees wolves as menacing beasts who don't deserve to live. He doesn't believe that wolves or their hybrids have any kind of emotion or purpose in the world except that they show threat to human beings and as beasts, wolves only have an instinct to kill and destroy human lives. In Daye's opinion, wolves are better off dead than anything else.

Love Interest : The Lost Lamb

How did you meet him ? : They met at the most inconvenient times. They met during a full moon, when Daye transforms into a wolf and The Lost Lamb transforms into a human. The Lost Lamb just transformed in a human and he was wondering around the woods when he ran into Daye in his wolf form, hiding away in a cave. Daye thought The Lost Lamb was just another troublemaker human kid who always go looking for trouble or could be someone that could discover and give out his secret and he tried to scare him away by growling at him. However, the boy found himself rather infatuated by Daye in his wolf form, and since he could tell that Daye was a human who was bitten by a wolf (it's kinda obvious, a wolf who is not turning into a human during a full moon can only be a human who has to turn into a wolf during a full moon, right?). The Lost Lamb thought that Daye must have felt lonely at that moment, therefore, he decided to keep him company, despite Daye's protests. Daye still let him even though he was afraid that the boy will discover him being a human who has to morph into a wolf every now and then. They spend that night together, not talking much but just 'sharing their warmth' and The Lost Lamb would occasionally talk to Daye who would keep quiet most of the time, sighing or growling here and there. Of course, The Lost Lamb didn't reveal his real identity because he was not sure what kind of a human he was talking to. He stayed in his shape of a human even after Daye morphed back into a human after the night of a full moon. Daye wanted to leave before he morphed back into a human but The Lost Lamb held him back until he actually morphed back. The Lost Lamb could tell that Daye was worried about being a human who was bitten and he promised he won't tell anyone. Even though he wasn't fond of the boy spending a night with him because he thought it was dangerous for a human to be in the woods during a night of the full moon, he was thankful to The Lost Lamb for spending a night with him and offered to take him home, still thinking that The Lost Lamb is human. The Lost Lamb was a bit taken aback because he didn't really have a 'home' amongst humans but took the offer from the older to at least take him back to the city. Still, the Lost Lamb was cautious while in the city, pretending to be one of the humans because again he wasn't sure what kind of a human Daye was.

What do you think about him ? : At first Daye thinks The Lost Lamb is a human and finds him slightly annoying, stubborn and thoughtless, going to a forest during the full moon which can only mean trouble for a ’human kid’. Daye sees the boy as just a kid (even though there's not such a big age difference between them). He wasn't fond of the boy hanging around with him but he supposed he could at least use some company, firstly because the boy was stubborn and wouldn't leave, even after a warning, and secondly, Daye knew they wouldn't hurt each other. He’s trying not to be mean because really The Lost Lamb's done nothing wrong to him. After some time, he finds himself infatuated by the boy (or at least his human form) and how innocent, childish, thoughtful and generally adorable The Lost Lamb is. He slowly starts to open up to him because the boy doesn't seem to be all so dangerous since he already knows his secret of being bitten by a wolf. When he finds out he's been hooking up with a wolf all this time, he feels like he's betrayed his family and like he himself has been betrayed and he is disgusted with himself. However, he can't deny the feelings he's developed for the caring and genuine boy who's got a hold of his cold heart. 

Scene requests : 
Daye and The Lost Lamb keep meeting each other in the same cave during the full moons, talking and getting to know each other
The Lost Lamb talks to Daye about wolves even though Daye protests - Daye slowly starts to learn about good sides of being a wolf (he's still clueless that The Lost Lamb is a wolf)
