Personality:

MiYong... what to say about her... Well, she's almost nothing like her brother. Since JiYong is a bit more quiet and a bit shy, MiYong is the one who's a lot more outgoing and easier to talk to. These two are also very different with jokes. MiYong... well, she doesn't joke much. She's afraid she might offend someone or make the atmosphere awkward wherein her brother is more open with jokes. What these two do have in common would be that they keep professional in front of people and are always careful with what they say on camera.

She also tends to be a bit oblivious and would usually get easily surprised since she never expects much at all. She's very humble and polite with her words, so polite that it's become a habit of hers. MiYong can also easily get worried. She's very caring for people and is frequently worrying about someone or something. Her conscience also tends to get the best of her at times. She will easily feel bad for something she might've done so, in other words, it's bad to include her into a prank since her conscience will probably ruin your plans.

In front of close friends, MiYong is a lot more open about her thoughts. She tends to tell them what she wants to tell the media but can't. She's very funny when she does this though. Also, she's a lot less stiff and formal. I mean, if ever that a camera crew would suddenly barge in their dorm, she would probably be seen with her glasses on, wearing a big shirt and with her feet on top of the coffee table. It's hilarious when people see this though since they expect her to be a lot more polished like when she's on screen.

MiYong is also a bit of a push-over. She's very obedient to her unnies and even her dongsaengs. She pays high respect for them and is often found having a hard time saying no to them. She's also very considerate so its easy to get her to forgive you. But, it becomes something troublesome for her too. Since she's too nice, people use that to their advantage. Just a bit of sweet talking or a few pleads and she'll surely do what you want her to do. Another down-fall of this kindness is that she sometimes gets over-stressed with everything people want her to do. Well, we think the reason why she's like this is probably because she wants to be approved by everyone. She strives to be the good friend everyone wants.

A mad Miyong though is a bit troublesome also. After her little rage, she'll start crying and saying how much of an inconsiderate fool she was to get angry like that. People usually just leave her alone at these times so that she could think for herself. It seems to calm her though which is good. Crying seems to get her to take out all the stress.

You will be able to see a change in MiYong's presence once she's on stage. She becomes a lot more serious and that little push-over image is completely replaced with a fun and a bit mysterious charm. MiYong is very into songs and melodies so you would be able to see that MiYong does her best to reflect what the song is saying.

Family background:

MiYong was born and raised in a family where music wasn't something new. Her parents were both part of their school's band and her brother was a music-fanatic for as long as she could've remembered. As a result, Miyong, herself tried out doing music. At first, she just joined simple school competitions and had her brother teach her some tricks to singing. Despite both of them having different styles and fortes, the two were still very close and shared a mutual passion for music.

In her 3rd grade, she lost a competition which caused her to go into a hiatus with music somewhat like what happened to her brother. It lasted for a year and a half beforeshe realized how bland her life was without music. Soon enough, she was back on her feet and getting ready to join a new competition. Her classmates were very supportive of her and urged her to audition. After pursuation from her friends and family, she had finally tried out for YG where her brother was a trainee. She trained there for 5 years before switching to SM Ent.

At school, MiYong was more of an athlete than a studious kid. She was often seen in club rooms rather than the library as she enjoyed being active a lot more than having to sit down and stare at a book.

Trainee story:

MiYong was a trainee at YG for 5 years. She was a pretty popular trainee there as her brother was part of Big Bang and many other productions from YG. She felt a bit pressured being there since she knew she had to do her best so that she will not be looked down and be left in her brother's shadow. She was also very much respected there for practicing as much as she could. The CEO himself thought she was a remarkable trainee. In the middle of her 5th year of being a trainee in YG, MiYong asked the CEO if she could transfer to another company. The CEO was very much surprised since he was actually even planning to debut her with a new gir group but he saw how she seemed to really want to transfer. Before he let her go though, he asked her why she wanted to leave YG. She explained that she didn't want the people to think that she got in YG just because her brother was the infamous G-Dragon. And since the CEO wanted to make sure she'd put her talent to good use, he transferred her to SM Ent.

The first day MiYong was there, she felt a bit concious with herself as she watched how all the trainees danced. She wasn't much of a dancer and YG didn't really did much for dancing, she seemed like the black sheep in teh crowd of trainees. After months of dance training though, MiYong had finally caught up with everyone. Her singing had also improved a bit. The people were very nice and the sunbaes would often sneak a peek at how the trainees would be doing, sometimes even giving out advices.

Ever since she started becoming a trainee for SM Ent., her brother became a lot more protective as he reasons out that he would not be able to look after her there and will not be able to monitor sho else she would be training with. Her parents thought it was silly that her brother was bein too protective but they still worried a bit too. MiYon made it clear to them that nothing bad was happening, excuse the few bruises and sprains she had gotten.

After 5 years in YG and 4 years of excessive training in SM Ent., MiYong was finally able to debut.
