What is the meaning of being 'tagged'?

I don't get it. Can someone explain it to me? :3 Thank you! :D

to attach as an addition ; to hold to account; to provide or marked with..depends on the situation...

but, i'm not really sure about it. XD

if it's only "tagged" it means 'etiquette' *but my friend said it could be 'marked'*
if it's "being tagged" it means 'being marked'.
But, once again, i'm not really sure...
