Horror Movie Guide Part 1: Epitaph

An elderly man thinks back on the strange occurences in a Korean hospital during the Japanese occupation in WW2.  We go back in time, and get to know him when he was young, along with some of the doctors, patients and soldiers that make up this intricately woven story.  The characters all have a tale to tell, and they all influence each other's lives in some way - whether it be with kindness or murder...

I usually find Korean horror very tame, but this one knows how to deliver maximum thrills.  It lulls you into a false sense of security, adds a bit of mystery so that it has your complete attention, and then BAM!  You are screaming at your screen and shaking from the aftershock. Like all Korean horror flicks, it has a deep emotional story behind it that has you weeping by the end. Is definitely worth watching...with tissues.  Keep the lights on if you don't want nightmares.
