Personality/ attitude:

I'm not a bad girl. I'm really not. It's just the image I project when I first meet someone: Bad, BAD, girl on the outside, good girl on the inside. Trust is never something I'm good at, is why...

During the first time I meet someone, it may seem like I hate them, but the truth is, I'm just analyzing the person, deciding whether they're safe enough for me to let them close to me or not. If I don't think they are, then I try too keep away from them. But if i think the person IS worth getting to know then, little by little, I let them in to my life.

Once I get to know the person, the true soul inside me comes out: the loud, annoying, bright, and happy girl. When this side of me comes out, I usually go through these weird mood swings, making me seem like I'm ... Pregnant...

But all joking aside, it is very rare for me to show this side of me. It's never easy... I've never had practice before, because no one, but my family (But it just came natural with them, you know?) was patient enough to wait for me to open up... But trust me when I say that it's even harder for me, than it is for the person wanting to be friends with me...

When I fall in love, I fall in love hard. I ... Stalk the person (SHHHH!), and learn everything I can about them. But that's on the inside. On the inside, I always feel as if my heart is about to burst out of my chest when I'm around them.. But on the outside, I show no emotion. Love is a weakness, something I can't afford to have if I want to survive in the music industry, a tough, TOUGH world.

I guess, if I really love the person, I will start to show emotion to them. But I've never tried. I guess we'll just see..
I'm very competitive. When I win, I have a little victory celebration to myself. When I lose, I sulk around for, like, 5-10 minutes before plotting some revenge on the person who beat me. But don't worry. My revenge isn't that bad. Maybe some whipped cream instead of shaving cream, some hair sprayed sandwiches, and the likes.

Family background:

I, Cho Jina, was born about two years after my "Oppa" Yang Yoseob, was born. (Long story: Yoseob ISNT ACTUALLY my Oppa. He ran away from his home in an early age. He never really told me why.. But my Umma and Appa took him in, and he's like a brother to me. People even THINK we're related because I call him Oppa and because I refer to him as my brother a lot.. I hope I didn't confuse you...) He and I, we were the fruit of our Umma and Appa's eyes.  We were their pride and joy, because they knew many of the brothers and sisters (Or cousins...) out there would treat each other like trash, but not us. Yoseobie-Oppa and I were as close as two opposite magnets are. He would help me, and I would help him, and other parents, who didn't know we were actually COUSINS, envied us.

When Yoseobie-Oppa was 7 and I was 1, our parents found out about the voice my "brother" had, and entered him in talent shows. It turned out, he beat all the other competitors in his age group and took with him home the first place medal. He continued singing in competitions till he was 12. This was when I was 6, and when I was watching him practice one day, I guess I was inspired to sing along with him. So that day, I asked him to hear if my voice was okay. Being a six year old, I was (quite) arrogant and only asked him to show off because I knew (really thought) I was good. I sang Happy Birthday and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to him, and as it turned out, I DID have a pretty voice. Like my "Oppa"!

So Yoseob called my parents and he asked me to sing again. When I finished singing, Umma and Appa clapped like my biggest fans. I gave out a soft blush, and that's when "Oppa" carried me and started to do my favorite ride, the Free Drop, while singing, "We've got another singing prodigy in the house!~" over and over. I didn't what that meant back then, so all I remember doing was giggling and squealing.

When there was another singing competition, Umma not only entered "Oppa", but me also! I practiced along with my "Oppa", his piece being "I don't Wanna Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith, and mine being "Love Will Go On" by Celine Dione. We practiced long and hard, of course, still minding our school work.

The night of the competition came and I performed my song before "Oppa", according to the age groups. I was rewarded second place because the judges said my voice is still quote shaky when I was singing the high notes. Of course my "Oppa" got First place. This only made me practice harder.

So when the second competition came, I sang the same song, and surprisingly, I got first.

When "Oppa" was 15 and I was 9,( we were in a rock band. How cool is that?!), we participated in another competition, not knowing that a representative from Cube Entertainment was there. I got third place because my voice that week wasn't cooperating with me, and "Oppa" got second. It wasn't our best performance, but I guess the Cube representative thought opposite as he walked our way after the competition was over. He asked my parents if they were willing to let us train under Cube. Umma and Appa agreed to having "Oppa" train, but they asked if it was okay for me to train as well. It turned out they only accepted people over the age 13. So log story short, only "Oppa" was allowed to be trained. He trained until 2009, when he debuted as the Main Vocalist of the new boy group, BEAST, styled B2ST.

I on the other hand, really didn't mind that I wasn't accepted. I actually wanted to fulfill my dream of being an architect. To do this, my parents transferred me to a prestigious grade school, Saint Francis's Academy. There, I managed to get first honors till I was 13, and in the eight grade. My teacher recomended me to Saint Francis's High School, but it was too expensive. Of course I wanted to be in there, but I didn't want to burden my parents of the price.

So I researched, and researched, until I found out that Saint Francis's High School offered a Performing Arts Scholarship. I told Yoseob-Oppa about it, and he suggested that I join the choir and maybe, just maybe, the choir master would recomend me to the high school and I could get a scholarship. I took his advice and did just that. That June, I found a surprise in the mail. I found out that I was accepted into Saint Francis's High School. So I studied there till now that I'm almost 17. One day last year, my old choir headmaster from grade school sent me an email. It turned out that he was a representative from SMent. and he wanted e to take part in the joined academy that YG and SM made to find their next top stars. I discussed it over, clearly, with my parents and Yoseob-Oppa. They all wanted me to join. After a lot of thinking, I decided to do as they wanted.
