TaeTiSeo (Taeyeon*Tiffany*Seohyun)

Okay, I admit. I was skeptical about this sub-unit. When news first released, I was like, "Meh, it's like Orange Caramel.>.>" But of course, I was proved wrong again. This is SM, for God's sake! They don't do half-assed! Nor copy other's bull! And yes, because SM is rich and they can produce good songs. 

I'm happy they chose the three, who's good at vocals. Jessica is good too, but Taeyeon is just.. <3. Not to mention, their voices suited each other in terms of blending. Anyway, when Twinkle was released, at first I didn't like it. Yeah, it's really pretty. The MV, I mean. I first heard it at Music bank, and all I could say was,"This is so, not SNSD."

 

 

 

But then like Fiction of B2st or Nanrina of Block B, it kinda grew. I don't know why but it was really catchy though at the same time I didn't like it. And so when they won, I initially thought, "Hey, they won because they're SNSD or daughters of SM, whatsoever." But then I took the time to hear their album songs, and I've seen a new light. Yeah, they could really pull this off. No, scratch that, they're bound to pull it off. 

1. Because it's Taeyeon. Her voice is ing amazing.

2. Tiffany has such nice vocals. It's no wonder why she got that Fame musical. 

3. I don't really like Seohyun, especially after that Happy Together segment where she said she had no feelings for Yonghwa. My Yongseo spirit just..shattered. ._. But her med voice can blend the most of their voices. And after she hit that high note in The Boys, I pretty much expected she'll be here.

I really liked the song Baby Steps. In fact, it's the song that I loved the most in their whole album. It was so wonderful, I hope SNSD goes ballad. Although I doubt it. :3 They're known for their catchy songs. I advise you to hear. After I heard it, I'm hooked.

 

 

 

2. OMG (Oh my gosh)

OMG sounds insanely like the Pink pather slash Run, Devil run. I guess I jumped into conclusion that they won't sound like SNSD.

 

 

4. Library

Library reminded me of the old days of SNSD. Like the Merry-go-round. I'm not an avid Sone, but I liked this. KInda sounds refreshing.

 

 

5. Goodbye, Hello

Christmas. Really. 

 

 

6. Love Sick

So you might be thinking that I'm biased because I only liked Ballad songs. Wrong. Another ballad like, but no. Really soft, but it was like one of those Korean songs, it sounded like one, that wasn't really popular. It didn't won me over like the Baby Steps, but was nice, nonetheless.

 

 

 

7. Checkmate

A lot of people had been saying that it sounded like Sherlock of SHINEE and Machine by EXO. I don't know the Machine of EXO but I don't think it sounded like Sherlock. For me, it's like a japanese song or something.

 

 

 

So yeah, that was it. I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics because right now I'm still listening. Although I read Baby Steps lyrics, it's really nice. :D I hope it'll be a follow-up after Twinkle. I also wished that SM would make another sub-unit to execute SNSD's individual talents. Although I'd rather if they went like After School where there was red and blue. and they fought for the first place. So yeah, I'm interested on who would win. Who knows? Maybe the next sub-unit would be for dance. Taeyeonnie~
