PLEASE READ CHAPTER 23 BEFORE READING THIS!! THERE ARE SPOILERS.

Hey, so my author’s notes/explanations are quite too long to put at the bottom of the chapter, so I had to put it in a blog!

Anyway, there were several things I wanted to explain and point out:

Key being ‘seoulheights’

If you have not caught on already from reading this chapter, then I’m going to say that yes, Key was the ‘seoulheights’ stranger from Me2Day. Why Key? He mentions briefly in his monologue in this chapter about creating a Me2Day alias in order to get Hae Young to talk about her life. When they were together,  Key would always talk about his life, not really giving a chance to get to know about Hae Young more. Of course, this isn’t entirely his fault because Hae Young doesn’t like talking about her life with Key. So, Key decided to just make up a Me2Day profile to talk to her because she seems more comfortable talking to everyone else about her life than with him.

I chose the name ‘seoulheights’ because – as most you sneaky, sneaky readers have mentioned – ‘heights’ is 키 (Ki) which is similar to the way you spell Key’s name. Also, Key’s afraid of heights. I liked, however, how most of you thought that it was Minho because of his tall height! Haha! Good call! :)

Timeline of the Story

If you haven’t noticed the storyline’s timeline takes place in only one week. As you can see, we started off the story on Saturday, March 12, 2011 and on this current chapter (chapter 23), it’s already Sunday, March 20, 2011. So yeah, it’s only one week but so much drama has already taken place. This is because this whole week acts as the ‘’ of Key and Hae Young’s relationship. It would be boring if I started all the way in the beginning and then worked up to this climactic week.

Hae Young’s Name and Username

I don’t know if any of you wondered what’s up with Hae Young’s name. To be honest, ‘Hae Young’ is actually the name of this Korean girl in my class (whom I love and miss dearly because she’s back in Korea! ㅜ.ㅜ) So yeah, ‘Hae Young’ is a real Korean girl name and I did not make it up – because I really hate made up Korean girl names that make no effing sense in the real world.

As for her username youronlysecret2939, it’s just that she’s sort of a ‘secret’ girlfriend to Key because as an idol he can’t tell the world that he has a girlfriend. Hence, “Key’s only secret”.

Why Minho was Mean to Hae Young

As one of the readers have mentioned in a comment, Minho was mean to Hae Young because he knew all along. He disapproved of what Hae Young and Jonghyun were doing, but of course he was a guy and as a guy, he didn’t want to be such a by ratting out on his bros. 

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this chapter! And I really did enjoy reading your comments about who seoulheights was. I did divert a lot between Taemin and Key and Minho, right? ;) All part of my plan, chingu. Haha.
