You know, I don't get why people make such a big deal about K-pop, as in those anti-fans.

To me, K-pop songs are just other songs like the American-pop songs I listen to. Yeah, the guys are so much cuter than the American singers, but I like American and Korean songs not for the singers, but because of the songs, the beat of the music, the lyrics, sometimes the music video (like Exo Mama, for instance), the dance.

Only very little is because of the guys.

And yet those anti-fans think that is the reason why I like K-Pop so much. I really hate them for not giving me a chance to explain because not everyone is into K-pop for the guys. Come on, those anti-fans are into other singers and bands for a reason too, right? That gives us as much reason to say the same! So what if the language is different?

Songs are songs! -.-

Which is why, one way I've learned to shut them up is by saying this to them: "American pop to you is like K-pop is to Koreans."

Aaaarrrrrggghhhh.

Sorry, just that I was talking to two of my friends, a guy and a girl. Suddenly the guy showed me a ty video on youtube and was like "exactly why I hate K-pop"

Then when my girl friend found out I like K-pop, she was like "ewwwwww, why you like them? seriously, it's like all those guys care about is there looks. It's so disgusting. I hate ALL k-pop singers."

I'm sitting there, thinking "They care about how they look, but they don't think they're good-looking" because the guys she was referring to were Big Bang. And I've watched ALL of Big Bang's Documentary. I've seen how insecure they were, with their bodies, and everything. Yeah, one of the requirements is to be good-looking. I don't know about that or whatever, but I do know that even if they are good-looking, doesn't mean THEY think they are.

When I pointed that out to her, she immediately said, "Well, but I like Tae Yang."

I replied, "Didn't you just said you hate ALL k-pop singers? Last I check, Tae Yang is Korean AND he's a singer."

That got to her, shut her up.

So, whatever, whenever my friends diss me about K-pop, all the more I sing K-pop songs in front of them just to annoy them.
