just why do you write?

to all the writers out there, 

JUST WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO KEEP ON WRITING A FAN FIC? 

HOW DO YOU PUT UP SUCH GREAT STORIES AND GET INSPIRED TILL THE END?

as you can see, I am just starting to write a fanfic but i am afraid to post it here. I am writing it on MS word first. That is not my real problem. My problem is that i am losing the will to write. Please help me! 

i'm going crazy right now! LOL

p.s. i really want to finish my story

Well when I started writing my story only a few people read it and no one really commented, but after a chapter or so, people commented and subscribed and such, and it really made me happy to keep writing knowing that someone actually wanted to read it.
So I suggest you upload your foreword and first chapter. :)

I am inspired by pretty much anything nd everything out there. I try to write eith variety and not about the same things like topic matter, genre etc. So I look for inspiration everywhere. Sometimes I find great inspiration in music. Sometimes its just one line and it triggers something inside me for an idea that make me want to continue the idea out in paper hence making a story most times. Sometimes its just totally random though like one time i was just getting ready for school in the morning and a name just popped into my mind (not a fanfic) i started to think about what person would have that name; what would he look like? What sort of life would he lead? And so prompted me to write that which i would love to turn into a novel. I recently went on vacation and I got a buttload of inspiration from all the farmland to write more Child's Play so between that and all the comments, I can pull inspiration from pretty much anywhere.

My inspiration, varies between my readers and my real life. Readers, subscribers and comments usually help many authors, BUT don't base updates on them. But mostly all the scenes in my stories are day dreams I have in my mind, and writing is a way to get all of them out of my head for new ones. LOL xD. But music is a good one too. Find a song, listen and look at the lyrics and then make a scene or story out of it.
I admit writing stories until the very end is hard, especially if you plan it to be long and around 30-40 chapters. It's a real challenge. I suggest taking a break from writing for a while and doing something to clear your mind from the thought of the story. Then when you comeback, you'll have a clear mind to think of new ideas.
