Personality- Shin Ki is hard to understand. To those who do not know him, he is like a labyrinth. There are so many dead ends if you try to trace his personality and actions, to better understand his core. One will just keep coming to dead ends and more confusion. There are several layers to this labyrinth. The only way to understand, get thorugh, each layer is if he allowa you to. If he gives your the necessary background information to understand.  Those who enter typically always find a way out, they find it too much work for one person.

First layer is his outer shell. At first, one may not even know that he is alive. He tends to hide in the shadows and watch everyone around him. If someone were to talk to him, they would normally expect some kind of venom coated response. Not from him. He is actually very kind for an anitsocial person. He will acknowledge that you are there, and even talk to you. It may not be for long, it doesn't need to be. He is an expert in reading people. From the tone of their voice, to their wording, to their body language. He is one of those rare people that can read and feed off of other's emotions. Of course, they can do the same. This is one reason why he tends to be alone, trys to be. Ki can sense what other's are feeling in a braod range of emotions. That's not why he is alone. It's because how others react to his energy. If he is happy, they will be happy. If he is depressed, then so will they. He can actually semi-control those around him. Have them do what he wants, completely break their wills for his own benifit. What he had seen from his family, that has become his greatest fear. To control someone, to become that dictator, he would rather just suffer lonliness. The other reason why he is alone is because of people themselves. Humanity is more then just two faced, he still does not know how to describe it. The corruption in society disgusts him, and he cannot get away from it. The only way to be semi-free from this corruption is to stay away from it. To be alone, to keep to himself. Human are pack animals, and Ki is not exception for this. Not all humans are corrupted, he knows this, if one conforts his outer shell and can prove they are different then he will put effort to start the relationship. That is how one passes the first layer, to be different then the rest of society. Outcasts, the unwanteds of the world.

The second layer is different from the first. In the first layer, it was a oneway street. One had to meet the requirements and also put effort to know Shin Ki. In the second layer, he is also putting in effort. This one is a bit easier then the first, but takes more time. Through more conversations and being with one another, he can get a better idea on who the other person is. Dig deeper into their soul, and actually see if this person is worth his time.  If they aren't, then he will slowly fade away fro mtheir lives and each one of them will move on. If they are worth his time, then he will continue to spend more and more time with them. Eventually, they will start to know more about his past.

Knowing more about his life is the third and hardest layer. Slowly he will tell more and more of his life. There are three requirements here: one is to listen to his life; two is to accept his life; three is to share your own. If one cannot do any of these three, then he will simply leave them in the dust. He only has close friends, nothing in between. His life story is a bit hard, but what he has learned from it is the incredibly part. That is where most people fail to meet. Shin always has a general way he acts, in all of the layers, and a special addition to how he acts in each layer.

First layer he is distant and would rather that you just stop talking and leave him alone. If one is annoying enough, he will burn them with incredibly harsh words. If that does not do the trick, or if they fight back, then he will use violence. He despises violence with a passion, but mainly because he is incredibly violent himself. That is what he got from his father's side. He can fight, and will when needed. Though if someone is hurt near him, emotional or physical, he will lend a hand. Even if he does not know the perosn, he will land a hand to them. If you try to share skinship with him, he will just push you away or bluntly tell you never to touch him.

At the second layer, the chances of him hurting you in any way becomes less. He still can, and still will, but it is just less. Though in this layer he will show some kind of skinship. It is very minor skinship, but at least it is something. Here he will also be a shoulder to cry on, but only if you are having a mental break down and desperately need one. He would rather just tell you that it happens, or give some short and simple advice.

At the third layer is just more skinship, also he will rarely ever hurt someone in that layer. If he does, it will not be anything major. In this layer, he becomes a human shield for the other.

 If student- Shin Ki didn't want anything to do with this game, he was just going to stay away and let everyone deal with this problem. He was brought into this because of Miss Cherry. He was about to be expeled for fights and also not getting along with the teachers. This was a chance for him to make friends and also stay in the school. He knew that this meant so much to his mother, for him to have a chance at a better life, so he joined and was forced to help due to this.

Anything esle?- Shin Ki is incredibly intelligent, he has a mind like Edgar Allen Po. He is not afraid of the darker sides of the human mind, in fact he quiet enjoys the darker parts. Because of this, he can think like a killer and help with the mystery.
