Dohyun prefers the clean-cut style. Simple yet presentable and stylish. He also has a pair of glasses that he wears if he doesn't feel like wearing contacts that day.

Personality: Dohyun isn't exactly, how you say, the most active and outgoing student there is, but he is very observant, patient, and calm. He's not exactly what you'd call a genius, but he's very close to that level. Eccentric in thinking ways, he'll go and do as he pleases without caring much for others, but only after he's just the situation and thought over all the possible plans and routes that he could take and results will happen. Dohyun is blunt, sarcastic, and often comes off as cold or condescending. He also does not care about what others think. However, he has a kind heart and will help whomever comes to ask him for help, though with many complaints. Has a issue with trust, so he has only a small number of close friends. He often uses tricks and traps to gain what he wants; for example, he tricked a teacher, whose classes Dohyun often skipped, in to believing that he was cursed with a supernatural affliction and in payment for 'exorcism', full class credits.
He acts like a stranger and is not good with other people. Dohyun sees terrible things by just observing people, how they can easily talk behind another's back, and immediately assumes the worst when he meets someone new. He prefers that people approach him, so he tends to just stay to the side of a crowd and is quiet and reserved, thus, being misunderstood as shy. Honestly speaking, Dohyun just doesn't want to deal with the drama others tend to dump onto him, so he cuts off any interactions with others. He's also one to hold a grudge if you happen to somehow piss him off, which is not recommended, and when he's angry or sad, he'll just keep it in and pretend he's fine.
Surprisingly he has a love for puns, any kind no matter how bad, and has a huge competitive streak when it comes to very small/stupid things (who can eat the fastest, who owned the most pet fish, odd things like that).

Background: Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Dohyun was a single child with his fairly normal family. He lived a normal childhood, nothing abnormal (except himself) and no traumatizing events or deaths that completely changed his personality. He did, however, take frequent trips to Korea to visit his father's side of the country, and loved it there. However, due to his odd nature, he has a issue with second guessing and always doubting people, so he's had a hard time gaining any friends in either countries. In the middle of high school, he moved to Korea as he his dad's work required them to be in Korea and after graduating high school, he was accepted into a college there.

Likes: Books - likes the quiet and reading in general.
Music - Calming and a stress reliever, he surprisingly is into rock and heavy metal as well as a mix of ballads and popular pop music.
Sleep - Other than the fact he severely lacks sleep, it's a way to make the days go by faster
Spicy Food - Tastes good, likes the tinging sensation.
Mythology - Finds the stories not only fascinating and amusing, but likes the humanness of the stories (and the blood and gore/odd things that follow it).

Favorite professor[s]: Kim Heechul - Other than Philosophy being his major/best class, he actually does like the conversations they have been in before. He finds him, well 4D, yes, but insightful and surprisingly intelligent.
Jay Kim - They have a thing going on where Dohyun won't be paying attention/comes in late and Jay and Dohyun talk (exchange insults and teases) in a English, thus confusing the other students in the class. Jay is also just another man he likes, as he finds him easy to talk to and fairly amusing.
Kwon Boa - As he came from a different country, he finds the interaction between countries very interesting. So, he likes Boa's class, thus it made him like Boa as she clearly gives them examples and doesn't hinder the truth.

Least favorite professor[s]: Choi Siwon - Contradicting beliefs, Dohyun prefers to avoid Siwon in case they get into an argument on religion and beliefs. He also just has no interest in the class itself.
Shin Dong Hee - Personally Dohyun can't cook to save his life and he's a bit jealous of Shindong on how well he can cook and how tasty the food looks.

Family: Jung Chaeshik [46] - Father and the strict figure in Dohyun's life. Though he's a man of very little words and often cold, he does actually truly care for Dohyun. Full Korean/has family in Korea.
Emily Kim [45] - Half Australian, most of her family is in Australia. The loving and caring figure, she was the one who always coddled and held Dohyun if he was scolded by his father.

• Hong Sun Mi [25] - One of his sunbaes in high school, Sun Mi was a big help to him when he first moved to Korea and transfered to their high school. She's kind hearted and laidback, but is a bit naive and easily falls for his tricks.
• Jessica Jung [23] - Since the first time they met, they got along due to the fact that they both spoke English fluently. They often like to speak English to each other just for the heck of it. Jessica can seem a bit cold at first, but after getting to know her, she's a dork and a very nice person who tries her best.
• Cho Kyuyhun [24] - The "evil" one who also likes to help and participate in Dohyun's trickery. Kyuhyun also possess a great voice and awesome computer skills. Kyuhyun likes to a lot and can deal with Dohyun's straightforward nature.
• Derek Brown [24] - His only friend from Australia that he bothered to keep in contact with. Derek is one of his closest friends and a confident as Dohyun trusts him. A sarcastic and witty guy, he's also a bit of a flirt but means no harm.

Personality:

• Go Ara - Also known as "Gorilla" as a joke (plus he misheard her bame as Go Ara sounds a lot like Gorilla in Korean and English), she's the stubborn and more outgoing one of the two, usually dragging Dohyun around without his consent. She's actually a big softie and kind hearted so he feels like her protector at times. Ara pretends to hate Dohyun at times and is a good enough actress (actually, she's a great actress) to pull off anything. She's actually very cute but tries to act tougher then she actually is. She has a habit of talking and acting recklessly before thinking about the consequences. Incredibly gullible and easy to fool.
• Kwon Yuri - A prankster, joke-loving dork who likes to play around with the unsuspecting. She's one of the popular ones, but Dohyun still finds her to be a interesting, funny, and a good person inside. She's laidback and level-headed, but if you provoke her, watch out and be sure to sleep with one eye open. She also has a talent for dancing and can sing fairly well.
• Yeonhee - Another easy to fool actress. However Yeonhee can easily hide her emotions and fake a smile. She's a nice and carefree person who likes to do as she wishes and isn't affected by those around her.
   

Type of relationship: More of a love-hate relationship, they pretend to hate each other but actually care for each other behind the scenes. Say she was sick, then Dohyun would leave a bowl of porridge outside her door along with some medicine. But in public, they hide the affection and bicker ceaselessly with one another. She's the one who pulled Dohyun out of his shell and actually got a smile out of him for the first time. They're also incredibly competitve with one another. They're mild and actually sweet to one another when no one's around. Natural when they're around each other.

How do you act around her/him: As stated above, it's a love hate thing, but he cares for her. He becomes a bit more sarcastic and icy with his tone, but that's really only because he doesn't really know how to deal with her. When he crosses the line though, he'll immediately apologize and do some sweet thing to make up for it.
How does s/he act around you: She becomes easily irritated with him and is incredibly stubborn against anything he says, but actually cares for him.She tries to be the optimistic one, aka the ying to the yang.
