background | Minhee was born in Seoul and lived with her mother, father and her older sister. When she was 5, her family moved to Canada as her appa had gotten a better paying job. She had always had a passion for music but she never thought that she would ever debut as a singer. She preferred writing lyrics for the songs that her friend composed. When she was 15, her older sister (She was 17) wanted to audition and didn’t want to do it alone. Minhee accompanied her and did the back-up vocals for her. Surprisingly, they wanted to see more from Minhee and asked her to do a solo. She was unwilling at first but her sister told her to go for it. She sang SNSD’s Into The New World. They called her back within a week and told her to become a trainee. Her sister encouraged her to take up the opportunity and fulfill her dream. She took her sister’s words of encouragement and had always trained ever since.

personality | Minhee is what you would think is the ‘mature’ one because of her looks but she is probably the most childish person you could meet. She loves playing around and is hardly ever serious. She loves going out and sometimes sneaks out when the manager doesn't see. She loves eating candy and will do anything for a chocolate bar. She has a very carefree personality and even though she is called ‘The Beauty’, that is only her outer appearance. Although she is childish, she's mature when it comes to her fans and her group. There is nothing worse to her than disappointing those that she loves. She is horrible at lying so she is very straight-forward with what she says. Sometimes she does not think before she speaks. She isn't slow when it comes to noticing others relationships but when it comes to her relationships, she is slow.
She is very kind to those who are kind to her and won’t take any crap from those who are being rude/mean. She will always stand up for her friends to the point that she gets hurt. She is very stubborn when it comes to people she loves but she doesn’t mind as much if it only affects her. She puts the people she loves in front of her own health and safety.

background | Hyunki's parents met in England when his father was on performing for his solo music concert (he plays piano). His mother was rushing to go to University and they bumped into each other when he was going to perform at a concert hall nearby. They fell in love at first sight. The problem was that his father was already married and had Hyunki illegitimately. His father could not stay with his mother as he could not break up with his wife. He told her to abort the baby but she could not bring herself to do it. She quit university to work and raised Hyunki by herself. They have lived in London with just the two of them ever since. His mother still wants to meet up with his father and hopes that he would be willing to accept them as apart of his family.
Hyunki got his music talent from his father and his mother encouraged it. He started off with singing in the choir at Church every Sunday (his mother is very religious; Catholic. Hyunki only did it for fun) at the age of 8 and slowly spreaded out to playing guitar at 13. He began making videos on youtube when he was 15 and covered K-pop songs and occasionally English. He was pretty popular and his fans told him to enter Woolim's youtube singing/dancing competition when he was 16 to become a trainee. He entered singing an acapella version of DBSK's Forever Love and won 1st place. He moved to Korea to be a trainee with his mother as they always stuck by each other.

At first sight, he seems like the perfect guy with a pale complexion and the perfect personality but he is far from it. He is an expert at lying and usually shows a kind and strong face when in fact, he feels mostly scared and helpless. He acts mean to those who try to get close to him in order to hide his true feelings because he's scared that they'll find out about her parents and their past. Although he is happy with his umma, he feels that he has a lot to live up to, considering that his father is famous. He only feels this way because when he was younger, he would show off about this fact. He was then bullied because they thought he was a rich kid. Ever since then, he had never really opened up to anybody.
He has trust issues and doesn't really have many friends because of this. And as said earlier, he doesn't show his true feelings easily. He sometimes says things that he did not wish to say and sometimes worries about the other person and if they take his comments seriously. He is very shy and when he likes someone, he is very indirect about it. He has a very big ego and acts like he is better than others. He may seem very complicated but that is only because he wants friends that will accept him for who he is, no matter what kind of person he is.
