I hope I can make you all smile.

____________

Um. Hi you guys.

I am sure you all are wondering what the heck this blog is for when I don’t ever make one.
My answer is simple: it's for us BBC's.

I am sure most of you BBC's, if not all, have heard about the current scandal BLOCK B is in right now. And that there is practically chaos going around everywhere. I don’t know if it’s needed or necessary but I want to share my opinion and thoughts on this with you all. And I want to start off by saying that what our boys did was wrong.

It was rude and impolite.

It’s simple as that, as harsh as it may be or sound. I hope the BBC’s who keep defending BLOCK B understand and accept that fact. Our boys are in the wrong here. Please don’t make excuses for BLOCK B because they will never learn if we fans sugarcoat their mistakes.

Mistakes happen so that people can learn from them.

With that said, I still love BLOCK B and I will wholeheartedly support the boys and stand by them even though I am upset about what they did. And the reasoning behind this comes from my family.

If my younger siblings do something stupid or if they act a certain way that doesn’t sit well with me, my family, or friends, I make sure I let them know that “What you did was wrong. It was not ok. I confront my siblings about their mistakes and I want them to acknowledge it instead of running away from it. I want them to learn from it and mature from it. I want them to become better people from their mistakes.

I don’t sugarcoat my siblings mistakes because I love them and when you love someone or care for them, being blunt and honest is sometimes the best solution. So I confront my siblings about their mistakes and make them understand that they have done something wrong; I do not allow them to get away with it.

So, in the case of BLOCK B, because I love them and care for them, I want them to understand that what they did was wrong. And they have understood that their actions were wrong as they all have sincerely apologized. I left a comment on AllKpop as they reported on this issue and all my thoughts and feelings are basically summarized in the following comment.

_______________

All of the members of BLOCK B personally apologized on their fancafe. Each and every one of them sincerely regretted their actions. Especially Zico. I wish Allkpop included that bit.

Of course, I am disappointed in BLOCK B by their actions and I am not going to defend them by making any excuses. I hope the boys learned their mistake and mature from it.

So please stop all this hate and bashing because what's done is done. I would really like BBC's and Hottests to get along because there was a lot of mistranslation and misunderstanding.

_________________

I wrote that and it seems a good number of people agree with me.

I am really glad that BLOCK B acknowledged their mistake and that they have apologized. I hope time heals not only BLOCK B’s wounds, but the wounds of others who were also directly impacted by their actions/words. Whether it's BBC's, Hottests, Thai people, or other fandoms. Please know and understand this, my friends: that it’s never too late to apologize. If a human/person realizes their mistakes and acknowledges it, then it means they are on the right path to becoming a better person. It’s better to confront your mistakes and learn from them than not to.

Mmm. So yah. I just had to get that out because I am sure there are lot of BBC’s out there confused, hurt, upset, and angry. All of those emotions and feelings are reasonable and understandable.

But please understand that hating or bashing on someone else will NOT make the situation better. Hate is really a heavy word and people who loosely throw around and use it against not only BLOCK B, but others is really upsetting. It really hurts me when people throw the word "hate" around is if it's nothing. Rather than spreading hate, we should try to be understanding and help others realize their mistakes and make them become better people. We ourselves should set an example for others.

Not put others down.

____________

I know there will be people who don’t agree with what I just said and that is perfectly fine. Please feel free to disagree with me and address your opinion. I will humbly welcome you as everyone thinks differently. In other words, each to his/her own.

____________

On another note, I finished writing the next chapter to my story and I might update it before Tuesday. I feel like us BBC’s need a little light in our dark days at the moment.

When I post it, I hope it lifts your guys mood a little because I really am distressed to see so much hate/pain/suffering at the moment. I am a person who easily gets emotional if I see other’s pain or suffering. I take on others pain as if it's my own; that’s my nature and my natural reflex is to do something to make it all better. So to see BBC’s, Hottests, and other K-Pop fans upset really stabs my heart.

I hope I can make you all smile.
Even if it is the slightest bit.

I'm not really a big Block B fan as I've never listened to them, but some people need to get over this issue right? Block B apologized already right? True the flodding in Thailand should not be joked about, but really...we all make joke's like that don't we? We regret it later too, idol's are NOT perfect humans. They make flaws just like every other human don't they? And we should still respect them...not make , petition's for them to kill themselve's because of a tiny issue *rolls eyes*

I totally agree with you. As much as I love Block B, I believe they are in the wrong. BBCs stop trying to defend them and have to let them know they are wrong, and others should try to understand and accept Block B's apologies. It's sad that other fantoms had to be involved... I truly hope this does not turn out to be a fan war.

I agree that what they did was wrong. Really wrong, for that matter. But it hurts to see all the hate they're getting. And I'm sure that they're truly sorry for what they did. I'm by Block B's side. As I always say, being a fan doesn't mean you should pat their heads and defend every word of them. It means you'll be by their side, no matter what, HELPING them, walking them through hard times. This is a hard time. They had to learn that you can't fool around with everything and everywhere. BBC should be supportive just like you said, "I want them to become better people from their mistakes".

Sad that other fandoms had to be involved :( It's already hard enough without people bashing on them... Anyway, Block B fighting!

I completely agree with you! Wholeheartedly! Everything in this post quite literally reflects what I was thinking. I like to go around with the mindset of 'humans aren't perfect, no matter how hard they try. They can only work harder and learn from their mistakes', and I'm an okay BBC as long as they acknowledged their mistake. It's not like everyone in the world hasn't made at least one mistake in their entire life.

And hate... Hate is horrible. I would know, but for some reason, I just can't forgive him. It's been six years, and I still hate him. Maybe over time, it'll get better? At least, that's what I'm hoping for, ^^"

Well said! I think that what they did was wrong but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have an opportunity to redeem themselves. I, too hope people can be understanding in this incident because as someone who loves both Block b and 2pm it makes me sad to see the fandoms arguing. I can understand people from Thailand being pissed at Block b but I hope that with time they can accept Block b's apologies.
