Zoe is a simple person. She may not be the smartest but she is a people person. She is friendly and can become friends with anyone, or talk to stangers comfortably. She can be a chatter box and loves gossiping with others, if you tell her its a secret then she won't say anything but other than that any information she finds out is now public knowledge. 

She loves spending time with others and is always open to hanging out. She will somehow squeeze it into her busy schedule just to make memories. Her being so good socially allows her to be flexible, not only with her time but also with how she handles situations. She is a good problem solver and can unawkward any awkward situation. She is good at observing others energies and emotions and approaching social interactions accordingly. She is honest with her emotions which makes her seem emotional. She will cry when she feels like and frowns when shes mad. If you made her upset she'll tell you right away so she can move on from it. She doesnt like dwelling on bad emotions so she can seem up and down but really she just prefers to be happy instead of constantly a downer. BACKGROUND

Zoe was born in New Jersey to an upper middle class family. She was the second born and immediately adored. She was cute and outgoing, a little all over the place but always had something she wanted to show her parents.

In school her grades weren’t great, a little below average. She was never the intellectual kind so her parents didn’t expect much from her, but when she did do well they praised her like crazy and practically threw a party for the rare A that she got. She didn’t have any outstanding achievements or awards so she looked up to her older sister who always somehow was winning something since she could never do it herself. She was clumsy at every activity her parents put her in and wished she could be as perfect as her older sister.

So when she left all of a sudden she was really sad, Chloe often didn’t have time to hang out with her because she was either studying or practicing but at least she could have breakfast and dinner with her everyday. Though with her gone she couldn’t do that anymore and it made her sad. She promised to talk to her almost everyday but her messages slowly went unanswered and phone calls went to voicemail because of the time difference.

While Chloe was living her best life in Korea Zoe felt lost. All her friends had passions but she didn’t. She tried a bunch of clubs but none of them sticked. There was a study abroad opportunity for school in Korea and she just made the cut off grade to be accepted. So I’m the summer of 2015 she went to Korea to study for a semester. She mostly went so she could be with Chloe again but they could never meet up with how busy she was. School in Korea was way harder than America and torturous for her, she barely passed her classes. For once she stayed late at school to study for the final exam, it was the last two weeks of her stay and not once did she see her sister. On her way back to her dorm she got approached by a Pledis representative who asked her if she wanted to be an idol. The name Pledis sounded familiar but she brushed it off. Either way she thought it would be fun so she auditioned and somehow got in.

TRAINEE YEARS 2 weeks before 16tv so 2 years and 2 weeks in total.
　♮ Zoe had no idea what to expect at training. At her audition she sang but they asked her if she could rap and she confidently rapped to Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass. So the company wanted her to be a rapper. Her Korean skills weren’t so great so she took a lot of Korean classes since she could already rap well and dance classes but thankfully she wasn’t an awkward dancer.

During evaluations she wasn’t shy to be sassy and easily interacted with others despite the language barrier. Even the staff was surprised that she made friends so easily. It didn’t take her long to get put with the Sixteen trainees. The whole time at Pledis Zoe kept asking to see her sister because she had great news to tell her but she never responded. That was until the final meeting before 16TV started she saw Chloe and almost tackled her with happiness on the spot.

She was running here, screaming there, speaking gibberish here, laying on the floor in the back there, sometimes study korean with terrible grammar and write stupid english raps. FIRST MEETING They first met during 16tv. They didn't have much interactions besides a basic greeting. They officially met and got the chance to talk after she learned he was her mentor. Zoe was surprised to get him as a mentor because she didn’t consider herself a songwriter. During 16TV she wrote fun raps in English, nothing serious. So for her it was interesting that the company considered making her a songwriter particularly because she spoke English.  
INTERACTIONS It didn’t take long for Zoe to get comfortable around him. He didn’t put pressure on her to be polite and pay attention to the hierarchy. They liked to joke around in a flirty way but tried not to be too obvious that they were interested in each other.
