personality : eunha has always been a curious type of person, since the moment she had the slightest amount of consciousness of the world around her. she's your typical happy-go-lucky out going girl. eunha is usually b over the edge with creativity and goes above and beyond to meet challenges head on. She's not one to be easily intimidated by things that others would be intimidated by. She's quick to adapt and ready for change at any given moment. she's such a multi-tasker that she's constantly jumping around from one project to another...i mean, each project will reach completion but sometimes the question is "when", whenever it comes to her; to which she'd reply "slow and steady wins the race! patience is key". with that type of thinking however,  comes the fact that she can be highly unorganized in the workplace, leading her workers to avoid her office at all costs.
Still, anybody who walks through her doors wouldn't even know considering her exuberant attitude. she bounces around the restaurant with ease and inviting energy. she does however worry people with all that she takes on. she's always helping, taking care of others needs ahead of hers without breaking a sweat that people closest to her always fret, telling her she needs to take a break and take care of herself. but the truth of the matter is that she does so in order to keep her mind off of the nightmare that is her life; the love and loss she's had to endure. and no, it's not healthy in the slightest but its whats worked for her since those losses.
she acts as such a competant, theatrical person to mask her sadness, and sometimes it really does fool people but there are instances where her true feelings to shine through as she does tend to overthink absolutely everything she does and says. to her closest friends, she cannot fool them, but to a passerbyer, a simple smile and a "my bad" usually does the trick.
because of what she's been through she does however, treasure everything in her path. she has come to learn that life is far too short, and she needs to take advantage of all that life brings her way and value those around her.

📍 december 11, 1994 : eunha was born to her parents, woosik and yeseul.
📍 may 24, 2000 (age 6) : growing up, eunha was heavily loved and enamored with the concept of love bursting in waves all around her. she had a great example to go off of after all, as her parents were very much in love. they had a relationship that was so pure, she'd never seen it anywhere else. she idolized it, wanted a love just like that. she grew up loving disney movies that centered the romantic relationship between the princess' and her prince.
📍 novvember 28, 2009 (age 15) : Eunha was introduced to her high school sweetheart, koji sunohara (who was two years older than her at the time) by her friend and it just seemed like fate. of course, she'd tried dating before him but none of them were as serious as this one was. it was nothing like the relationship her parents had modeled but it was definitely special. she always felt that she could lean on koji, and he on her.
📍 may, 2012 (age 18) :
when the graduation ceremony was coming around, as a surprise, koji decided to propose to eunha. he had graduated two years prior to eunha and had already been working alongside taking university courses. he had already managed to save up a measureable amount of money since he'd been working even before he had graduated and he knew that he could take care of eunha. koji went to her parents and proposed his idea to them. of course, they thought it was kind of insane at first, questioning his intentions, but after some consideration, they knew it's what eunha would want, so they agreed to it. eunha was head over heels for her man, afterall.
📍 september 28, 2012: koji took eunha out to the river where he prepared a picnic to celebrate chuseok. at the end of their picnic, koji bent a knee and proposed to eunha to which she immediately said yes.
📍 november 3, 2012: the two were married at 18 and 20 (respectively). their honeymoon followed directly afterwards where they would take a two month trip backpacking around the world in spots they hand selected themselves.
📍 january 5, 2013 : january 5th, the day they were set to touch back in korea. the two were in awe, having seen parts of the world, they vowed to keep taking trips, to keep making memories that they'd be able to tell their future children about. they promised to take a month vacation every year for their wedding anniversary to commemorate their love for one another and reinvent the feelings they shared on their first trip outside of korea. unfortuantely, the two did have to go back to reality, but that didn't dim any of the love or adoration they had for each other. sure, they had the stress of finally moving in together, and time management that they had to work on (since koji did work a full time job and attended university), and eunha had begun university too but they managed and slowly fell into a routine that worked for them.
📍 2016 : the night thAT changed eunha's life. it was a night she happened to just be roaming around when she stummbled upon a tent. she was finished with work early and koji was held up with work so she decided it was about time to treat herself. she had marched in but found it difficult to find an open seat. it wasn't a large tent overall, but luck was on her side. she sauntered over to a vacant seat. "hi, is this seat taken?" "no, go ahead!" one of the girls smiled invitingly. "yeah. I just ordered a soju for the table, you can join us." another girl smile. it was as if fate had brought them together that day.
📍 december 8, 2018 : the two had just touched down in seoul after their one month vacation, having successfully commemorated their anniversary for a fifth year. the two were speaking very animated about their trip and where else they would go the following year now that an amount of places they already wanted to go had been visited. it was late at night when they began their drive back home after a long flight when a driver hit them head on at an immense speed. it was a teenager, driving a foreign sports car that he had been gifted for a birthday recently, but hadn't yet been granted the privilage to drive it since he hadn't had a drivers lisence at the time; yet, the first change he'd gotten when his parents were away, he'd taken it for a "test drive" with a group of friends. the car eunha and koji had been traveling was totaled in a roll over accident, and the last thing eunha remembered was watching koji motionless in his seat. she tried to shake him awake, but she was also scrambling to make sure she was okay. there was so much blood and she was terrified because not even a week prior, she used a home pregnancy test and found out she was pregnant. eunha was undoubtedly excited to begin her family with koji that she had even booked an appointment for the following day so she could confirm and get started on prenatals, however eunha wasn't going to make that appointment.
📍 december 10, 2018: a day shy of her birthday she wakes in a hospital bed with tons of machines hooked up to her. the lights were annoying and she was in so much pain she hardly even registered the fact she was in the hospital until her parents began fawning over her. her mother was sobbing at her bedside, grasp tight as the thanked a higher power for waking eunha when he did. she saw her father standing beside her mother, with a somber look and eunhas stomach flopped, sobering her up quickly. "Wheres koji?" she croaked. "eunha...i'm sorry. they didnt make it." "they? what do you mean they?!" "sweetie..." her mom sobs. "koji and your unborn child..." the confession echoed in her ears, haunting her for months, even years to follow. eunha kept asking herself "why me? how could this happen to me? I thought i did everything right." not too long after, doctors rushed in to check her vitals. she was told she had several fractured ribs, tibia and a broken femur but they were the least of her worries in comparison to the catastrophic pain that left her heart prisoner. she was shattered and would make little to no progress in the coming months.
📍 february 20, 2019: eunha was finally discharged from the hospital because there was nothing they could do for her anymore. rehabilitation was recomended and though she began attending, she was an absolute wreck. her parents had to move her back in with them and it wasn't long before she stopped trying to get out of bed except for when her parents and friends coerced her to go out. because of all this, she wound up losing her job at a local architect company. she believed to have no reason to try anymore.  worried about her mental and physical health, her parents had no choice but to enlist the help of a professional greif counselor to come visit eunha as often as possible.
📍 april 5, 2019: as expected, eunha didn't make progress right away but slowly and surely, her body healed. even though she continued attending rehabilitation, and she was improving physically, she had been stunted to perform day-to-day tasks. eunha even found an inkling of a calling, but the pain in her chest never really ceased, despite continuous meetings with the greif counselor. "just keep smiling, eunha," she'd tell herself everymorning as she dragged herself out of bed. it worked as much as she allowed it to.
📍 january 28, 2020 : time passed, and before she knew it her heart grew fuller and fuller as the opening week for her restaurant rolled around. she dove head first into busying herself with everything involved with her work that all her troubles were quickly fogotten, and she looked as radiant as ever. she managed to fool everyone around her and nobody thought about questioning it because she was back to her bubbly self before all the tragedy took place. she got to a point where she was able to move in with her friend, and even though she wasn't alone anymore, she still went home to a big empty matress every night and held back tears as she forced herself to sleep. the only time eunha could breath was at work, and life just had to keep going.

eunha met the girls at different points in her life, thinking that she met them at the exact right time she was meant to meet them, each making an appearance when she needed them most and she's forever grateful to have them in her life because she knows that everything they've each gone throuh in life helped her grow, the same way they've grown because of her as well. now, sitting in a tent discussing her future, she knows she wants to take a chance and be proactive in searching for her true match.

Ian isn't the type of person to go out of his way to make himself known in a space or advocate for himself but when it comes to the people he loves and cares for, he seems like the most outspoken soul in the room. he's got a whole plethroa of moral codes he tends to follow that usually put others ahead of himself/others needs ahead of his own. He always focuses on creating or finding the harmony around him. ian isn't one to trust very quickly or at all at first and presents himself as serious even though thats literally the complete opposite of his personal character. he prefers solidarity over being in crowded places and only really has a small group of friends whom he will meet with very often.
Ian is super dedicated to his work that he usually does online or from home. he spends hours upon hours in internet cafes or cafes in general. libraries are almost like his second home too, as he's a super creative being. because he's a workaholic, he's usually prone to burnout as well.
he goes out of his way to find the true meaning in all of his friendships and relationships, and cherishes them above all. He's usually the one who brightens up hang out sessions, and really opens up around people he trusts and will allow to be himself with.
 
background : ian was born to his mother, wooae. for a time in his childhood, the pair lived in japan, where his mother worked as a hairdresser and makeup artist. things weren't out of the order as he grew older, but he had always wondered why he didn't have a father figure in his life. when he approached his mother about it she had explained that every family was different. some families have two mommys, two daddies, one mommy or one daddy, and that in their case, it was just her. she left it like that until he was old enough to understand that his mother wasn't interested in a partnership or relationship with anybody and only wanted a child she could love to her fullest. he teasured his mother and all the love and hardships she went through with him.
 
the pair moved to australia when he was a pre-teen because his mother was offered a job in theater in sydney. ian was then homeschooled since his mother traveled for work and he'd travel along with her. ian became more reserved the more they moved. he couldn't stay in one place in peace and he couldn't make friends he knew he was going to have to leave. the moving back and forth was taking a toll on his development. it wasn't normal for a teen to not be given the space to explore his youth. all ian wanted was a normal life where he went to a school, joined sports or clubs, and had friends he could confide in. after speaking to his mother, it wasn't hard to get her on board. she loved him more than anything, and she would give her son exactly what he wanted.
 
they settled down in korea. wooae took a lower paying job but a good one nonetheless. ian began attending middle school where he met his now best friend, amber. he had a lot of stories to tell of his time traveling with his mother, and students were flocking to befriend him but the language barrier really didn't help him at all. luckily for him, amber spoke english and korean so she was able to help ian out a lot in learning korean.
 
ian joined the art club, since drawing and art always put him at ease. he was easily able to communicate his feelings through his pieces and became known around the school through his art. soon thereafter he found a mentorship at a local tattoo shop, and he knew it was his calling. he dropped out of school near graduation, and though it saddened his mother that he did so, he wouldn't give up his calling. he worked as hard as he could to make it up to his mother, and surprised her with a ged equivalent when she least expected it. within the next few years he was able to branch off on his own and open his own tattoo shop with a couple of close friends he trusts with his life (benny, red, storm, and cheif).

"dude. you need to put yourself out there. you're a..." amber gulps back her naseua at the though, but continues despite. "dude, you're a catch. there are tons of fish in the sea, i'm sure at least one of them has to be your type...look! this is krystals sister and she's newly single."
ian cringes at his best friend. "your friends sister?"
"Jessica! she's super cute too." amber holds up a finger, silencing her dissaproving friend. "Come on ian! just give her a chance. If you don't like her, that's all it has to be. no hard feelings between either of you."
"You already set me up, didn't you?" ian deadpans.
"in an hour, sweetie pie." amber grins.
"Sometimes...i really want to strangle you, you know?"
"Yeah, yeah princess. go get ready, i'll drop you off."

"Oh, come on wuss. its just one date. you look fine." amber tugs at her best friends jacket sleeve. "she's already there waiting for you."
"how do you know?" ian turns to amber.
"hey, i said I was friends with her sister, remember? they're waiting for us."
"So you're just gonna ditch me with some random chick to hang out with your girl friend?"
"yeah, pretty much."
"have I ever told you how much I hate the two of you?"
"almost everyday." amber laughs, "now come on. don't make a pretty lady wait."
with a long huff and a ruffle of his hair, ian pulls away from the car and follows his best friend toward the restaurant.
"You ever been here?" he asks.
"yeah, couple times. it's krystals current obsession."
"Oh, great." ian sighs. he can see two slender ladies as they approach the entrance.
"lighten up." amber nudges.

after all pleasantries are met, the pair walk into the restaurant. ian has to admit he's a bit surprised by the interior. its exterior just doesn't do the restaurant any justice. they take a seat at a booth by the the window and wait for a server. "hello, my name is minha, i'll be your server. what can i get started for you guys?"
ian looks over at jessica and gives her a nod, beckoning her to order first. with a smile she begins, "i'll take a flat white, and...honey toast."
the server turns to ian and he scans the menus, ordering his signature tea and one of the frist things he sees. "uh, a black tea, light on the milk, two scoops of sugar and melonpan."
"gotcha, it'll be right out." the server turns to go, leaving ian to converse with his blind date.

"minha, sweetie. you've reached your max hours, go ahead and clock out. take some lunch, on the house." eunha calls out over to her employee.
"i actually have a table right now miss. son."
"oh?" eunha looks around. "table five? i'll take it, don't worry about the tips, if there are any, i'll save them for you."
"okay. thank you so much miss. son. i'll be on my way then."
eunha hands her employee a bagged lunch over to the petite girl and sees her off before checking table five's order.
"status on table five's order, mingyuu?" eunha asks walking into the kitchen.
"just about ready!" mingyuu chirps.
"drinks?" eunha pokes her head out of the kitchen to check on her barista, kiki.
" done!" kiki places the drinks onto a tray.
Eunha walks over to mingyuu as he's finishing off the topings on both dishes. "thank you, mingyuu. excellent work as always." she lifts both dishes and walks them over to the tray where the drinks are and sets them down onto the tray before lifting it up and making her way over to table five.
"hello, my name is eunha, i'll be taking over for minha today. here is the flat white." she looks between the pair.
"that'll be for me." a brunette she's seen before smiles.
eunha smiles, setting the flat white down carefully. "and a black tea and melonpan for you?" she sets the tea down first.
"uh, yeah. how'd you know?" the man she's never seen in her restaurant asks. 
"oh, well that's actually my favorite combination myself. " eunha takes a step back from the table after setting down all the food. "and, i've actually seen you and your order before, so I just assumed." she says, directed to the female, in turn she smiles.
the male keeps his eyes trained on her and eunha starts to feel a little flustered. "uh, well anyway, thanks for chosing to come in today. we've got a special today, if you're interested?"
"oh? what's the special?" the brunette turns, slightly interested.
"a dozen wagashi for 6,500 won. a dozen of our specialty cornets for 10,500 won. we also have all our lunch specials for half price today."
"i think i'll take a dozen cornets, how about you?" the brunette turns to her companion.
the male leans back into his seat. "wait, you're the owner of this place right?"
taken aback eunha smiles brightly. "yeah, that'd be me."
"Wait, how do you know her? i thought you'e never been here?" the brunette frowns.
"no, i haven't." the male clears his throat. "i remember seeing some articles about this place. her name...i doubt you hire people with your same name, right?" he directs the conversation back to eunha.
"uh, right. i am actually the only eunha here. but not because i won't hire people with my name, i swear!" eunha laughs before catching herself. "Sorry, uh, i'll go get you those cookies, miss. excuse me if i've taken too much of your time." she dips her head.
"No...not at all." the man smiles.
eunha returns the smile and turns to leave the table. she spends the rest of their visit constantly checking in, and making sure they have everything they need.
"they look pretty cute together, right?" eunha pouts, looking at the pair outside the restaurant as they talk to one another.
"Girl, you're delusional." danni snorts.
"What?" eunha frowns looking at her friend.
"yeah, i mean look at them. she's into him but he doesn't look interested one bit. he's totally closed off. if i had to guess, this dudes been set up."
"Nayaaahh. don't be mean."
"how is it mean if its just a thought?" danni breaks off a peice of her croisant and stuffs , downing it with her iced coffee.
"i..." eunha deflates. "but they're talking and she looks..." she sighs.
"it's okay to see the beauty behind a date..or get together babe." mihye pats eunha's back. "why don't you grab your stuff so we can go do some yoga, hm?"
"okay, i'll be right back." eunha pulls herself together and walks toward her office.
"Oh , he's coming back." danni loud whispers, grabbing mihye's attention. "and coming this way!"
 
𖦹 segment five: wait, what?
"it was nice meeting you, christian."
"uh, you can call me ian."
jessica grins, "alright...ian."
"uh, hey why don't you go ahead without me. I think i left something inside."
"I can come back in with you?" she offers.
"No, don't worry about it. i've gotta...use the toilet too."
"Oh..." jessica gives a thoughtful nod. "Okay, i've got to get back to work anyway. until next time?"
"uh...yeah, yeah. next time for sure. bye jessica." ian offers a nod and hurries off back inside the restaurant.
the restaurant is quite packed for this time of day, and he almost struggles to look around. he can see as she leaves a pair of girls she had seemed comfortably talking to and sighs. "man up, ian." he tells himself before jerking forward to the pair at the bar. they're whispering quite intensely when he walks up. "uh...excuse me?"
"Oh, hello...is there anything we can help you with?" 
"We don't work he-" the girl is cut off by a nudge to her side. "Ouch."
"sorry, but she's right. we don't work here, but we do have a lot of pull. so if there is anything we can do, we'll definitely make sure to do what we can."
"You were...talking to eunha, right? If it's possible, i'd like to talk to her?"
"oh! with eunha? right, of course. this way." the nicer female hops off her bar stool and leads him over to a door by the far end of the restaurant. she raps at it before signaling him to go in. "thanks." he nods before walking in.
"danni, what do you want?" he hears eunha groan.
inside the office, folders and paper work litter the table at the far back, and book shelves upon bookshelves are filled to the brim with binders and books of all sorts.
"uh...it's not...danni?" he assumes one of those ladies was, though.
slightly startled, eunha turns to the voice. "Oh, hello! how can i help you?" she moves quickly to start straightening out her desk. and ian doesn't know what overtook him, but he knew there was something there. "will you go out on a date with me?"
"Wait...what?" eunha falters, piles of papers slip off her desk and the two of them make haste to pick them up.
"Sorry...i guess i came on too strong...what i mean is..no that's what i mean. look, it might sound stupid, but i think i have feelings for you."
eunha shovels the papers back onto her desk and takes the other papers from ian. "you don't even know me."
"no, you're right. i don't...but i hope that i'll have the chance to."
"but you were just with her...she's a regular customer here." eunha flushes.
"it was a blind date, and i wasn't even focussing on her cause i was too busy focusing on you."
"I...I don't know."
"We don't have to dive in head first...just give me a chance, we'll start slow." oh, god knew ian wasn't the type to go out of his way for a girl. so why was he now? "if you don't want to, i'll walk away, never come back here. cross my heart."
eunha retreated into her thoughts, he could see that she was panicking.
"we can start off as friends. we don't even need to go on dates yet until you're comfortable with me."
why, why was he trying so hard?

so their relationship friendship begins as a surprise. eunha had thought she was a wingman to a budding realtionship but is quickly whiplashed into being this dudes friend. she has never had this type of thing happen to her. it's always just been her and her late husband. she never even thoguht about looking after her husbands passing. but god is she a er for romance. she finds herself confused whether she should take the chance or not. a big part of her wants to say yes, to take advantage and say forget all the rules. she's suffered too much and just wants to be happy, and on the other hand, is it a disloyalty toward her late husband?would he have wanted her to move on?  [note: i guess their friendship can develop or start from here, however you please, author! ]

I hope you like my character at least a little bit, she's got a lot of mental issues that I hope you'll be able to expand on if you chose to move forward with her. also sorry i at expanding personalities, especially when I save it for last (and don't have any more time to flesh it out before deadlines) (': please do let me know if their personalities need to be expanded on some more and i'll be happy to get in there and make it blossom a little more!
I will be adding in the other girls to the app as soon as i know whether or not my character has been chosen.
scene request(s) : i think it would be interesting if they all go on group dates to theme parks or picnics or bonfires at the oceanside! just nice wholesome stuff all around!
