So after three days of trying really hard, only ONE document I was not able to FULLY recover. Which sadly belonged to Alone.

The good news is I had put up a Draft chapter online for me to add notes using my phone while I was in Japan. I had roughly written the next three chapters down in there. 

The Word document I managed to recover contained the first draft of chapter 12 and nothing after. (I re-wrote chapter 12 3-4 times). So I lost about 1.5 chapters of the overall Word doc as chapter 13 had been completed and uploaded (yay so that wasn't lost forever!~)

Luckily, Chapter 14's draft was uploaded into a draft chapter online so I could add and edit things while in Japan. I can pretty much kick off where I left it, I just need to make the rough draft better >-<

I am so thankful being able to recover an early version of my Alone document as I had a few later chapters, near the end of the story, already very drafted out (pretty much completed). Those chapters and the way I'd written them were so carefully written and thought out, (I wrote the ending before I wrote the beginning of the story), which is unusual for me, (I at endings,) but I had such a clear idea of how I wanted this story to go.

I hadn't uploaded those chapters anywhere online, so for me to lose those few chapters was so upsetting; I wasn't sure if I'd be able to complete the story. Thankfully technology eventually came through, and although it's an older version, it still has the ending there, which is most important.
