WEIGHT 163cm / 5'3"
HEIGHT 51kg / 112lbs

APPEARANCE
rami stands at 163 centimeters and weighs in 51 kilograms. she has a slim build with no prominent body features. her naturally long black hair is often a shade of brown, the shade depending on the season, but recently she dyed her hair back to to black and chopped most of her long hair off as it's simply easier to maintain short hair. the most prominent feature that others point out in rami is her high bridged, nearly “perfect” nose. it is 100% natural. her double eyelids are also 100% natural. she could care less about what others say about her body or other features of her body, but when they bring up her nose or her eyes claiming that she got cosmetic surgery, she will instantly deny it. make up wise, she leans more for a natural look. when she’s feeling fancy she’ll throw on a eyeshadow and draw on a bold cat eye, but on the day to day she keeps it simple, cc cream, a natural shade of blush, mascara, (a little bit of eyeliner if she’s feeling it), and a tinted lip balm (usually in pink or a light red).

FASHION
as a single mother, comfort is her top priority. not to say that she doesn't take care of her appearance; it's just not at the top of the list of priorities. mom jeans and a simple t-shirt, blouse, or sweater are her go-to outfit paired with a comfy broken-in pair of sneakers or booties.

at home she's all about comfort. loose fitting, almost oversized, shirts are her favorite paired with either a pair of shorts of pajama pants. if she needs to look put together for whatever reason she'll pull out a matching set of pjs.

POSITIVES compassionate, creative, lively, open-minded
 confident NEUTRALS out-spoken

 NEGATIVES
loosely inspired by hong du-sik of hometown cha-cha-cha

rami is best known for her energy. no matter when or where you meet her, she'll greet you with a bright cheerful smile. she's a ball of energy who always tries to make those around her smile and feel good. if the mood is feeling down, she'll try to brighten it up (only if she's in a good mood). a compassionate soul, she's sensitive to what others are going through and even if they're not friends or family, she'll do everything she can to help them in every way possible.

nearly everyone who meets rami ends up spilling some part of their life to her. she is nonjudgemental and always aims to make those around her feel comfortable. she's almost always willing to listen to what others have to say, but there are certain cases where she prefers to stick to her ways. she's confident in her abilities, so much so she can be very prideful at times. she hates it when others look down on her, even if it's in a teasing manner. this sometimes leads her to her bite off more than she can chew for she wants to prove to those who doubt her that she can do it even if her skills may not be completely up to par. those who don't particularly like rami will point out that she's arrogant and believes she's better than others in every way. her confidence isn't always a bad thing for it helps people to not always look down on her. she carries herself in a confident manner which prevents her from being looked down on.

although rami is particular about certain things (such as how to do her laundry, how to fix a car tire, etc.), there are many cases where she thinks outside the box. she's great at coming up with makeshift ways to fix and do things. if you ever need a creative way to fix anything, rami is your gal.

despite rami's efforts to keep everyone in a good mood, when a thought comes to her, she'll often express said opinion. she tries to be gentle about it, especially if it may cause controversy. still, she believes honesty is the best policy. some people like her outspokenness, while others believe she should know when to keep to herself. it also doesn't help that she can be arrogant sometimes, so the two don't mix well.

when with rami, do like rami. especially if rami is doing you a favor. don't get in her way and do exactly as she says. rami can be bossy when it comes to getting things done, and when being productive comes first, she won't hesitate to boss you around to get things done promptly.

as cheerful as rami may be, she is also dramatic when things don't go her way. she tends to exaggerate the things that are wrong in her life, but it's her way of dealing with things. think of it as the worst, so when you deal with it, it's not actually that bad.

behind all the facades rami puts up, she's sensitive. easily offended and hurt, rami tries her best to stay strong until she gets a moment of privacy where she can let it out. she hates it when others see her down, especially crying. by giving people the thought that she's a cheerful, confident girl who would think she's a sensitive soul. the last thing she wants is someone to think she's weak and unable to take care of those around her, especially jia.
DigDeeper
rami is the second child and daughter of her parents. she was born in seoul and spent three years there before her parents moved to cheongsu, her father's hometown, after her grandmother passed away. her father inherited his childhood home and land. after consulting with his wife, the two felt it would be best to stay in cheongsu as they had a house and land to their name, which they didn't have elsewhere.

her parents sold some of the land they had inherited to open a restaurant. both her parents were foodies and felt confident in their cooking and management skills. her father took on farming on the land they had left to help cut down on ingredient costs, and to their surprise, they managed to get a successful restaurant running. to this day, her family still owns and runs love hansik in cheongsu.

rami's childhood was spent in what used to be rural cheongsu, either in the farm fields with her father or in the restaurant with her mother. she was taught how to do many different things as a child. how to cook, clean, farm, and any other random thing that needed to be done. she was eager to help her parents out in any way she could and her parents allowed her to do so.

in high school, development began to take place, and slowly, the areas around the seo family were bought and developed into what is now known as the city of cheongsu. her parents ultimately decided to sell their land, which freed up rami's father. still, her parents believed it was necessary to stay local and sought local farmers to grow ingredients for their restaurant.

as a teenager rami was still heavily involved in her family's restaurant. she enjoyed helping her parents and others where and when she could. she learned quickly, and their neighbors always loved to ask rami to help them with random chores. so much so her parents were worried that rami was spending more time learning to fix random things than she was studying. it was the only time in her life when her parents began to limit what she was and wasn't allowed to do. they prohibited her from spending all her time helping others and even working in the restaurant so she could focus on studying.

by the time her senior year of high school arrived, rami was sure she didn't want to go to college but still decided to try it per her parents' request and pressure. she somehow managed to get into ehwa womans university in seoul. right after graduation, she was off to seoul.

life in the city, city was entirely new for rami. it was exciting and full of new things to learn and experience. she flourished her first year in seoul, but slowly, she yearned to get back to cheongsu where life was slower and quieter and where she knew practically everyone around.

during her junior year of college, she had the opportunity to study abroad. with some convincing from her older sister, she decided to spend a year overseas in sydney, australia. it was in sydney that rami met the love of her life, a local korean boy, her tour guide for her stay. however, rami also faced her first heartbreak. after nearly a year of bliss, rami and her lover faced the harsh reality of falling in love with someone from a different continent. neither wanted to make the ultimate sacrifice to leave their home country. despite rami wish to try to make a long-distance relationship work, her lover felt otherwise. just like that, remi said goodbye to her first love and her life overseas.

upon returning home, remi was shocked to find out that she was pregnant and, despite her efforts to reach out to the father, couldn't contact him. perhaps it was her naive heart, or she decided to keep the child because she couldn't relinquish her first love. with the support of her older sister and brother-in-law in seoul (who let her move in with them and live with them), rami managed to finish college and give birth to a beautiful baby girl, seo jia.

shortly after finishing college she moved back to cheongsu because she didn’t want to continue to be a burden on her sister and brother-in-law, and she wanted her daughter to have the same or at least similar upbringing she did. to live as judgment-free as she could, for life in the seoul was harsh. not to say rami and jia wouldn’t face the same hardships of not having a male figure in their family; she would at least be closer to her parents, whom she could rely on without feeling too bad.

her parents weren't happy with the news that rami had gotten pregnant overseas and that she decided to keep the baby without the father, but as soon as they laid eyes on jia they fell in love. although they fell in love with their granddaughter, it didn't mean they weren't worried about their daughter. it would be hard to find someone to marry a single mother.

upon returning to cheongsu, rami took on a management job in love hansik, helping her parents run the restaurant. she also became a well-loved neighbor who often helps her neighbors with random errands they have.

rami believes jia is getting the best care and childhood she could provide given her situation. with her grandparents around and all the regular customers that her parents have collected over the years, jia has many babysitters and is loved by many. rami has also made sure to take jia along whenever she can so jia can experience more things in life.

SEO JIA
the apple of her eye. the unplanned blessing. jia is everything to rami. like mother like daughter, jia is as lively and out-spoken as her mother. a walking ray of sunshine who loves asking questions, jia brings smiles and laughter everywhere she goes. sometimes jia can be more mature than her mother, which never fails to catch rami off guard, but also fuels rami to do better as a mother. jia adores her mother as much as her mother adores her and jia will do everything she can to protect her mom.
A7v0hMG.png
KIM SEULKI & SEO KYUNG BAE
her mother is her hero especially after becoming a mother herself. rami's respect grew even more for her mother. unlike rami, her mother is more reserved. a bit shy even for she tends to get embarrassed whenever rami openly expresses her love for her mother. when rami got pregnant her mother was disappointed, but never failed to support her daughter in whatever rami decided to do. now adays rami's mother mostly nags to rami that she should find a more high paying job so they can one day stop running the restaurant. even better would be if rami could find a handsome and well off man who doesn't mind rami being a single mother.

many say rami is a mini version of her father. lively, out-spoken and prideful. when the two get along, they really get along but whenever they heads, everyone knows to leave them alone because it's no longer a battle of logic, it's a battle of pride. before rami's pregnancy the two were peas in a pod, but when her father found out she was pregnant and wasn't willing to give up the child, their relationship took a strain. after rami and jia returned home, her father fell in love with jia and their relationship began to improve. her father still worries heavily about rami's future as a single mother and that is typically what always comes up whenever they argue.
A7v0hMG.png
SEO DAMBI
the older sister who at one point in rami's life, she wanted to exactly like. unlike rami, dambi is a mirror of their mother. reserved, eloquent and level-headed, dambi is a much needed calm in rami's life. rami knows she can confide in dambi whenever she needs someone to listen and keep her grounded. there are things rami prefers to share with dambi rather than their mother and vice versa. the two sisters grew closer when rami became pregnant. dambi is always willing to bend over backwards to help her family.
A7v0hMG.png
BAE JONGIN
the brother-in-law that rami actually really likes. of all her sister's boyfriends, jongin was someone rami always liked and she knew they'd get married. despite jongin's line of work as a police officer, he's quite the goofball who loves to mess around and tease those who are close to him. rami and jongin love to playfully bicker and when dambi is around, the rami and jongin of love to tease and bother her. they are close, but he's not the first person rami would go to for advice, unless it's about the law, then he's the first person he's going to.
A7v0hMG.png
JUNG MINHEE
friends since childhood, the two are literal crackheads. loud and rambunctious when together, the two know how to make their presence known. of the two rami would be the one who has some brain cells and will stop to question some of the things they do while minhee sometimes doesn't seem to have a single thought behind her eyes. though, minhee is the ultimate hype girl and is a true ride or die. minhee is the one who always knows what's going on with rami and they two can easily see if the other is attempting to hide anything.

minhee's currently opening a nail art shop in cheongsu, so for the first month of summer she's back and forth between seoul and cheongsu as she gets everything squared away. during this time, rami and minhee see each other about once a week, but they talk on the phone daily. only once minhee is settled in cheongsu would they try and meet up more often (every day or every other day). minhee's mainly the one who would want to meet up because rami is busy dealing with her pocket boy. the first time rami makes an excuse, minhee doesn't question it, but the more excuses and distance rami tries to put between them leads minhee to believe rami is hiding something. in the end, rami tells minhee about jinyoung because she doesn't want to lose minhee as a friend, and she is getting tired of keeping the secret from minhee since they share everything. but also because minhee showed up unannounced so rami didn't have much of a choice. minhee is eager to try to help in any way she can after finding out about jinyoung and the other pocket boys, a little too much as she's always asking for updates every few hours and wants to visit daily, which rami politely tells her no, and limits her best friend to two visits a week.

minhee knows of jinyoung only from rami. minhee and jinyoung have met in passing, but have never had proper interactions. although jinyoung is a reserved and a bit of a know-it-all just from minhee's observations, minhee has a good feeling about him. she may or may not be rooting for rami and jinyoung to get together.

in addition, minhee feels a little jealous and disappointed that she doesn't have a pocket boy herself. it's not a serious jealousy or disappointment, it's much more light hearted, "i wish the universe would have blessed me with a pocket boy" followed by a big sigh sort of disappointment that her life couldn't be as interesting as rami's. she doesn't think she would be able to handle the situation as well as rami, so she's counting her blessings that the only thing she has to worry about is opening her nail shop.

CurrentLifestyle
rami is a manager/waitress at love hansik (her family's restaurant). still, she also runs a lot of errands for her parents (for example, they run out of a particular ingredient and someone needs to get more, or someone has to hassle an individual farmer because they're late again on delivery) and helps mainly the elderly in rural cheongsu who repay her with yummy food or money depending on who she helps. she has a fairly set schedule at love hansik, working evenings most days of the week when it's the busiest, but during the day she has a little leway to escape the restaurant and do whatever other business she wants. of course, if she ever has to leave, she'll hear an earful from her parents, but it rarely stops her. jia also spends the day at love hansik and gets doted on by all the regular customers.

rami lives with jia on a rooftop apartment. her parents offered to let the two move in with them, but rami insisted on having her own space with jia. her parents are always happy to watch jia whenever rami needs a night to herself.

she's not exactly pressed for money, but rami is cautious about how much she spends since she wants to save money for any things jia may need. her parents pay her well, and she earns extra money by doing random errands and tasks. her parents want to close love hansik down eventually, but rami is considering taking it on when they want to retire.

every friday rami takes jia out for the day to do whatever rami wants. sometimes it's going to the zoo and other times it's as simple as getting ice cream and going to the playground. rami wants to cherish all the time she has with jia before jia starts school in the fall.

having another person, let alone a doll-sized man, to take care of is less than ideal, but rami couldn't let the man live in the streets where a stray cat could kill him. despite rami's efforts to keep jinyoung a secret from jia and minhee, she simply wouldn't be able to, especially when she needs to borrow male doll clothes from jia. it's a secret between the three of them for sure though. jia seems to enjoy having a doll-sized man around, and she treats him just like a doll, though a little more delicate since he's a living person. rami tries her best to limit the time jia and jinyoung spend together because she doesn't want jia to become attached to jinyoung, but sometimes it can't be helped for it would be weird to send jia to her grandparents for more than a few nights. there are only so many excuses she can give.

rami is eager to do whatever she can to get jinyoung back to full size, so it's one less thing she must deal with. however, she can't ignore her responsibilities to her parents and jia.

He'sASeasonedWorker
WORK SITUATION
jinyoung has been working at lavendar teahouse for the last four years and he's been tutoring high school and college students in math on the side (after his shifts or even early mornings before his shift). he has a good list of clients who pay him good money for his tutoring sessions.

LIVING SITUATION
jinyoung lives alone in a tiny apartment; if you can even call it an apartment, it's more like a room and bathroom with a microwave and fridge. he has a grandfather in rural cheongsu and thought about living with him. Still, because of his daily schedule and commitments, jinyoung decided to live in the city. he has the money to upgrade to a new apartment. Still, he doesn't spend much time at home anyway, so he doesn't understand wasting rent money on a place he doesn't even spend much time in.

FINANCES
he gives his grandfather pocket money, not that his grandfather needs it much. jinyoung simply wants to give back to his grandfather. financially, he can handle not working for a few months because he’s good at saving money. however, he is frugal and prefers to make more money than he spends, so not making any money for a few months will mentally take a toll on him. he takes his finances very seriously and makes weekly records of his expenses and income.

ISSUES
his most significant issue is not keeping up with his tutoring sessions. with it being summer, a good chunk of tutoring takes place during this time in preparation for the upcoming school year. he prefers not to take vacations during the summer because of this. however, this year, he'll have to make up a few months' worth of excuses not to be able to keep up with his tutoring clients. if he doesn’t return by the start of school, he knows many of his clients will drop him as a tutor.

he also visits his grandfather once a week or every other week when he's busy, so he'll have to devise believable excuses not to visit his grandfather. luckily for him, though, rami is quite good friends with his grandfather because she has helped him on a few occasions, so it would be easy for jinyoung to take a trip and secretly visit his grandfather.

potential excuses he'll use for missing tutoring sessions and canceling sessions:

summer vacation for the first time in four years
attending a math conference to improve his own skills
family issues with no real explanation

potential excuses he'll use for not visiting his grandfather

he's busy with tutoring because it's summer time and he picked up more students
he's sick and doesn't want to get his grandfather sick
attending a math conference to improve his own skills

HOW HE FEELS ABOUT THE SITUATION
the last thing jinyoung ever wanted was to depend on another person to survive. especially a single mother of all people. in general he dislikes asking for help and has always been independent, so relying on someone is a new experience for him.

he doesn't have anything against rami being a single mother, but he sometimes questions her career. why won't she find something more stable that makes more money than working what he sees as odd jobs? in some ways, he also feels like he's adding more to rami's plate because she already has to take care of her daughter, and now he needs help.

to be honest, jinyoung has never been a huge fan of children. perhaps it's because he grew up mostly alone or hasn't spent much time around children that he only sees the negatives of having children. children are expensive and oftentimes have attitudes. his view towards children is one of the reasons he was hesitant to accept rami's help. meeting and spending time with jia and rami help jinyoung realize that children aren't as bad as he thought and that a family can be happy no matter their circumstance as long as they are willing to make it work.

RELATIONSHIPS
maternal grandfather - lee joon | 75
jinyoung has a wonderful relationship with his grandfather and has oftentimes, throughout his life, turned to his grandfather instead of his parents for guidance. joon is an easy-going and at times, very goofy man. at his age, he doesn't want to find things to get upset or angry about, and he simply wants to live a carefree and happy life. there are certain things that joon does feel strongly about, and one of them is jinyoung. he only wants the best for his only grandson and grandchild and will do everything he can to make sure jinyoung is taken care of and safe.

mother - lee areum | 50 | real estate agent
of jinyoung's parents, jinyoung is closer to his mother. over the years, he has let go of his resentment towards her as he felt she should have been a better mother. in some ways, he can understand her desire to make something of herself in a society like korea, but at the same time, she chose to have him, so it was wrong of her to ignore her responsibilities as a mother. jinyoung talks to his mother every few months, mainly because she calls him to check in with him.

father - park sungho | 50
jinyoung doesn't have much of a relationship with his father. the last they spoke was a few years ago when jinyoung graduated college. the last jinyoung heard about his father was that his father was in a relationship, and that was the last time jinyoung ever bothered to see what his father was up to.

PERSONALITY

POSITIVES reserved, rational, intelligent, hard-working
 independent NEUTRALS frugal
judgemental, perfectionist impulsive, insensitive NEGATIVES

an introvert through and through, jinyoung keeps to himself and prefers to keep it that way. he's not one to go out of his way to make small talk unless necessary. despite his reserved and, at times, cold nature, jinyoung is a hard worker. whenever he starts something, he sees it through no matter how long or effort it may take. he keeps to his word, always.

many people will quickly point out that jinyoung is very rational and intelligent. he prefers to rely on logic and facts rather than emotions when making decisions. all his choices make sense when you look at them from a logical point of view. he's quick on his feet and quickly catches onto any situation or topic. learning comes easy to him, but it doesn’t mean he’ll always make the effort to learn. he views everything regarding him as an investment, so if he's going to spend time learning something, he wants to make sure it'll be useful to him.

a single child with divorced parents did a number on him. he's stubbornly independent sometimes. it's great that he's independent because he can fully take care of himself, but on the other hand, he doesn't know how to advocate for himself when he's in need. it's only when he's at his breaking point that he asks for help; even then, he may believe he'd rather break completely than ask for help.

one big thing that stands out about jinyoung when you get to know him is how frugal he is. he only spends what he deems is necessary, which is great because he can save a lot of money. it's also quite helpful to the environment for he'd rather use something until it absolutely cannot be repaired before tossing it. however, on the flip side sometimes he's a little too frugal and unwilling to spend money when he really needs it. not to mention, he rarely, if ever, spends money on friends unless he owes them a favor, which is rare.

jinyoung's judgemental side is a side that comes out when you spend more time with him. he doesn't necessarily think he's better than others, though there are some cases where he absolutely thinks that way. he simply looks at everyone as if they were a math problem. how can people's issues be solved if they alter this or this in their life? although he tries to keep his judgemental thoughts to himself, he's not great at gauging his judgmental and honest thoughts, so he tends to say things that make him insensitive. emotions? he has none, or at least none that he openly expresses. because he rarely thinks of his own emotions; the last thing he thinks about before he speaks is others' emotions until it's too late and he's offended or hurt them.

one thing that surprises people is jinyoung's impulsiveness. when he's stressed, he acts impulsively. doing whatever he wants at the peak moment of his stress to relieve him of said stress. not that it always works, but he really needs to be at the end of his fuse before he blows. not many people get to witness his impulsiveness, but it is something he's not proud of.

one thing that doesn't surprise people about jinyoung is how much of a perfectionist he is. if he's going to do something, he wants to do it right, even if right could have ended five iterations ago. he has high standards for himself, which rubs off onto other people. if something isn't up to his liking, he'll fixate on fixing it until it's up to his liking.

BACKGROUND
jinyoung was born in cheongsu and lived there for the first year before his parents decided to move to seoul for better work opportunities. every few summers he'd go back to cheongsu to visit his grandparents (on his mother's side) and spend a few weeks with them. jinyoung always loved the summers he'd spend with his grandparents, away from his parents. the slow summers in cheongsu were his favorite memories.

jinyoung's parents didn't have the best relationship growing up, for they often argued and if they didn’t argue, they would ice each other out. in seoul, everyone became busier. slowly but surely, family time together became less and less. both of his parents were engrossed in their careers, leaving jinyoung to himself. he spent a lot of time by himself or with his friends. In his first year of high school, his parents finally decided to get a divorce as they barely had a marriage. jinyoung saw it coming and hoped that apart he'd be able to develop at least some sort of relationship with his parents. it partly came true as he finally began to have a better relationship with his mother, whom he chose to live with.

high school passed, and college quickly came. jinyoung moved out of his mother's house, into the dorms, and eventually into a shared house. he had always been good with his studies and used that skill to his advantage. he tutored high school students to make money to survive through university. he majored in mathematics with no real dream job afterward, but it was simply what he was good at. it was at university where he met jaebum through a mutual friend. the two kind of heads at first, but slowly they began to understand one another.

after graduation jinyoung didn't have any intentions of working for jaebum at lavendar teahouse, but after a year of trying to find a job with little luck, he decided to take on jaebum's offer of a job. and with the teahouse being in cheongsu, it was even more of a reason for him to go work there so he could be closer to his grandfather.

it was only after the first year of working at lavender teahouse that he decided he wanted to tutor again. he missed studying and doing math. after discussing with jaebeom, jinyoung slowly began to build a clientele. if he wanted to, he could have left lavender teahouse, for he was making enough money from tutoring but enjoys making drinks.

what was supposed to be a quick daughter-mother trip to get drinks for the family turned into jia fighting a cat for a "doll". what doll? jinyoung. the only thing is jia didn't know it was a human being and not a doll like she thought it was. the stray cat was a cat that jia often liked to give food to and was one of the few cats that let jia pet them, so she was excited to see the cat. the poor 5-year-old was not expecting to see the cat pawing at a "clean, handsome doll" laying on the alley floor next to lavender teahouse. jia, being the child she was, wanted the doll and started to try to scare the cat away, thus ensued a "fight" which consisted of jia yelling at and holding onto the cat that was nearly her size.

rami had turned away for a few seconds to try and figure out why lavender teahouse was closed and empty and as soon as she heard her daughter scream along with cat screams she found jia and the stray cat in no time. the words that came out of jia's mouth were as follows, "mom, the handsome doll. i want it!". rami was confused but instantly saw jinyoung's little body passed out on the concrete floor and swooped him up. however, she refused to give him to jia and insisted she needed to bring the doll to a toy shop to get fixed because he had some “broken limbs”, which he didn’t but she didn’t want to give jinyoung to jia. jia, being the obedient girl she was, complied with her mother.

fast forward, jinyoung wakes up in rami's house confused on why he's there. the last thing he remembered was going to take the trash out. rami explains how she saved him and the two try to figure out what to do next. jinyoung insists he can figure it out himself, but rami refuses to let him wander around by himself and insists that if he doesn't want her help, she'll take him to someone whom he trusts, which only happens to be jaebeom, and he couldn’t be reached. jinyoung ultimately accepts rami's help, which rami can't help but rub in his face a little bit that he needs her.

LOVE STORY
rami and jinyoung first met in lavender teahouse. jaebeom had hired rami to fix the leaky sink in the backroom because the regular plumber was unavailable. jinyoung was unaware that rami was the person who was supposed to fix the sink, and when he saw her, he immediately accused her of breaking in and refused to believe that she was there to fix a leaky sink because she's a woman. ist, yes. it was only when jaebeom heard the commotion that he came in and cleared up the situation. it was after that moment that rami kindly refused work from jaebeom unless it was extremely urgent. that was their first meeting five years ago.

their second meeting happened while jinyoung was on his way to see his grandfather. his car was getting repaired so he decided to take a taxi. on the way there, the taxi hit a rock and got a flat tire. rami was on her way home when she noticed the taxi on the side of the road. she knew the driver and pulled over to help him change his flat tire. jinyoung and rami had a power struggle because jinyoung insisted he could handle it while rami also insisted that she could handle it. what should have taken a quick 15 to 20 minutes took close to an hour as they both would not stop breathing down the other's neck whenever one did something. this meeting happened a few weeks after their first meeting.

the third time they met was at love hansik, jinyoung was (and still is) a regular at love hansik. he usually comes in for lunch, but on this particular day, he came in during the dinner rush. to his surprise rami was his server—their first cordial interaction.

over the next four years, they'd run into each other whenever rami took on an odd job or met each other in love hansik. their first initial run-ins (the first two years) were full of tension and distaste for each other. rami felt jinyoung was a miserable dude with a stick up his , and jinyoung felt rami lacked focus in her life and work.

their relationship took a bit of a turn when jinyoung found out that rami had a daughter. jinyoung only realized that rami had a daughter when jia was two years old. he had come in for dinner when a fussy and sick jia needed her mom during the dinner rush. he's usually not curious, but because he knew fairly "a lot" about rami, seeing her leave the dinner floor with a young girl in her arms made her curious. he cautiously asked another regular customer who kindly and carefully explained that the girl rami was holding was her daughter. knowing that rami was a single mother changed his opinion about rami. rami wasn't just a girl who took charge just because she wanted to, and she was doing so to provide for her child. he also understood her desire to be able to fix things without needing a man's help, her desire to be a strong, independent single mother. it also explained all the odd jobs she took on. after finding out that rami was a single mother, the things she did and how she went about them bothered him a little less. with jinyoung giving rami a know-it-all attitude, rami also slowly stopped giving him attitude, and the two would no longer have many pride arguments or disagreements.

shortly after jinyoung found out about jia, rami found out that jinyoung was the grandson of one of her favorite elders and it was then that she saw that jinyoung actually had emotions. she was in the area when she decided to stop by to see if lee joon needed any help, but to her surprise jinyoung was there, out in the field with his grandfather. at first rami was confused and was going to confront him, but joon's stories about his grandson finally hit her and she realized joon had been talking about jinyoung. it was a sight to see jinyoung actually smiling and laughing for once and instead of intruding on their family time, rami headed on home to give her own parents a hug.

in the last two years, they've grown a better understanding of each other. not a complete understanding of course, but enough for them to be able to be cordial with each other. they still rub each other the wrong way sometimes for rami is still a little too lively and all over the place for jinyoung and jinyoung is still a little too serious and up tight for rami.

opposites attract is what most people say, but the two have never really felt such attraction. though, the two have never been alone long enough to event figure out if they are attracted to each other in any way.

COMMENTS
i can't believe i finished. ;; this is my third or fourth character idea which is why i've taken so long to actually finish my application and why it probably sounds a little rushed. i also haven't written an app in so long so i'm a little too rusty for even my own liking, but i hope rami and jinyoung both make sense! their relationship was heavily influenced by hometown cha cha cha's dusik and hyejin, just gender swapped, but i'm not sure how well it comes off- i was a little hesitant on adding a child to the mix, but i think it would be a fun dynamic to write about. however, if you feel otherwise i totally understand and would be fine reworking rami so jia doesn't exist. i didn't give jia a fc, but if you need a physical description, i'll be happy to provide one.

SCENE SUGGESTIONS
