So, I'm sure you're wondering where the hell I am and why I haven't uploaded anything in so long. I know I made that post about 'uploading infrequently' and everything, but not uploading in like 6 weeks?

First of all, sorry to jijjaera and Jcat3610 for taking so long on your requests. I promise I will get to them eventually; I've laid the groundwork for the Boa chapter, I just need to write it.

Speaking of, writing.

I wouldn't say I'm burned out again. Or maybe I am. Personally, I wouldn't call it that, though. To me, it feels like I've ... like, forgotten how to write.

If there's anyone here who follows my 'The Decree of the Divine' story, you might remember the Author's Note I put at the end of that chapter where I'm saying something about how much difficulty I've had writing that chapter. To reiterate: usually, when I'm writing a chapter, not much changes from the first draft. Sure, I"ll make revisions here and there and do some bigger changes to make things fit in accordance to the story and everything, but usually the bigger changes take the form of changing like 3-5 paragraphs or so. For the latest chapter of 'The Decree of the Divine', I couldn't go like 200 words with completely changing/revising what I was writing.

I don't really know why this is happening, but it really does just feel like I suddenly lost the ability to write, or like I suddenly forgot how to write.

People who have been following me for some time might know that I have a type of difficulty writing , specifically that it's hard for me to get into it. I've been writing a lot of it in the past year or so, and I think with regards to specifically, I might be getting a little burned out.

Honestly, I feel bad for taking a break so quickly after my previous hiatus, but I don't know any other way around this. I've talked to my counselor a lot about this and she suggested that I do this too. So what I'm going to do is start pushing myself to write again after I'm done with this game I'm playing (for those wondering, it's World of Warcraft, and the finish point is finishing the newest raid) and see how things are for me, and depending on that, I'll take a longer break or not.

Personally, I'm hoping the latter happens, but we'll just have to see until then.
