Description: This muse is a human who knows of supernatural existence. They had a close friend or a family member that was brutally hurt and/or murdered by a vampire. They may have witnessed it happen or discovered it later. They are not originally from New Orleans but they made it their life mission to hunt vampires after discovering the truth of their loved one’s death. However, because they are human, there are only so many ways they can combat their enemy. They begin working at Obsession as a dancer/, knowing they will be fed on by vampires who frequently visit the club. They find intricate ways to pass the vervain check and lure the vampires out from the club before allowing them to feed on with vervain in their system.

Requirement: Must be a werewolf from the Eclipse Pack. Can be male or female. Can be alpha, beta, or omega as long as their characteristics allow them to perform the tasks asked of them.

Description: They must hold a relatively high position in the New Orleans Police Department. Their hatred for vampires is quite strong; reasoning can vary from personal reasons to advancement and survival of their species. They actively hunt for the vampires — usually nightwalkers who have not obtained a daylight ring — and arrest them when they are found feeding on humans. At the same time, they turn a blind eye to the reports regarding werewolves. It may not entirely be out of corruption; it could simply be a deep desire to protect their pack. After all, werewolves are known to be the most loyal of all the supernatural species.

Requirement: Must be a human, witch, or werewolf. Can be male or female. Must be an older muse who has graduated college and received their medical degree.

Description: Their main occupation is a doctor at Salvator Medical Center. They have a strong will to save all their patients, especially those who are victims to the acts committed by supernaturals. However, for some patients, existing science and technology is not enough to save them. As the muse continues on with their career, they slowly begin integrating the use of vampire blood into their practice, feeding the blood to the dying patients that can’t be cured with medicine. How they receive said vampire blood is up to the typist. The muse continues to do this and eventually, they become renowned as a mysterious savior who is able to save anyone. However, their new reputation also has others curious about their “abilities.”

Requirement: Must be a witch and male.

Description: This muse works at the Juliet Cathedral as a priest. They’re actually a lone dark witch but disguised as a priest to join hands with the clan de élysée. They understand the joint power the coven provides and plan to use it for their own personal agenda. They may not always be intending to harm the coven but it’s definitely the least of their worries. How they acquired the position as a priest despite not belonging to the clan de élysée is up to the typist. They may be the only individual that knows they’re a dark witch or there may be other dark witches, supernaturals, or human individuals who know of their plans and assist them.

Requirement: Must be a human who does not know of the existence of supernaturals. Can be male or female. Must be a relatively older muse with credentials to teach at a university.

Description: This professor teaches at Andreas university and is famous for their jovial personality, fun lectures, reasonable grading, kind accommodations for their students. This reputation fails to save them when they are nearly exposed to the existence of supernaturals. They’re not entirely sure what they saw but they know they saw it and they know it wasn’t normal. This causes a shift in their daily life and engrosses themselves in research. They begin to dedicate their time to unravel the truth of what they encountered. The staff and students eventually begin to view them as a delusional professor who is wasting their time but that doesn’t stop the professor from continuing their investigations.

Requirement: Must be a pureblood vampire. Can be a male or female.

Description: A pureblood that has lived in New Orleans prior or since its establishment in 1718. Over the generations, they have changed their appearance and name multiple times to conceal their supernatural identity. Today, the muse has discovered a passion for journalism and work for the Morning Star Chronicle. They are famous for colorful retellings of the city’s history (because they lived it) and their ability to break the most scandalous stories, always seeming to know exactly where to look. As the Morning Star Chronicle begins looking into a series of “mysterious” attacks, they are assigned to the story. The muse must decide between sacrificing their fame and passion or risk exposing vampires, including themselves.

Requirement: Must be a hybrid. Can be male or female.

Description: They were an original hybrid created by Klaus Mikaelson. One of the few to survive persecution at the hands of vampires and werewolves. They escaped the city, but as the darkness swells outside of New Orleans, they are forced to return. Since then, they have come to believe that hybrids are the most powerful species as they harness the abilities of both vampires and werewolves. Back in the city, they plan to recruit existing hybrids and create more so there can once more be a hybrid pack. With an army, they plan to claim the city of New Orleans and make it a city for hybrids, giving their kind a place where they will be free of oppression.

Requirement: Must be a human. Can be male or female.

Description: After serving as a human vessel for a dark witch in return for a small fortune, they recognized a dearth in the market. They used the wealth to begin a loan sharking business, lending to humans. However, when they would be unable to pay, humans are “encouraged” to serve as human vessels for a certain amount of time to dark witches willing to pay the price. With the police growing more vigilant in the city, will they be able to keep their business going?

Requirement: Must be a half blood that doesn’t know about the supernaturals. Can be male or female.

Description: As a human, they were raised in a cult. Pious, they were devoted to the cause all through their youth. They rose through the ranks until they became a personal attendant of their leader. As the leader approaches the end of their life, they pass ‘their gift’ to the muse and warn them of the impending darkness— an indication of the end times. The leader informs them to pilgrimage to New Orleans and continue the teachings of the cult. However, when they arrive they slowly begin to unravel that they have not received some heavenly gift— they have simply been turned into a half blood and there are others like them.

Description: With the sudden influx of people moving to New Orleans, the federal government has taken notice and become suspicious, especially with the increasing number of mysterious occurrences and assaults in the city. To investigate, they send down this muse who is one of their best agents to go undercover and determine what’s actually happening in New Orleans. When they discover the reality is that many supernaturals have taken refuge in the city, will they expose them, leading them to potentially being captured and experimented on by the government, or will they have some empathy for these individuals that have nowhere else to go?

Requirement: Must be a pureblood vampire. Can be male or female.

Description: While staying young for eternity has its benefits, the consequences that come with it can not be overlooked. Having the same appearance throughout the decades can prove to be difficult as technology and federal law advances. It becomes harder to forge identification cards, passports, federal records, and keep their name hidden from the prying eyes. This vampire has done it all from changing their appearance every now and then, getting a new name every few decades, moving across the world to relocate in different countries— all to dodge questions why the rest of the city have aged and they haven’t. Eventually, they are fed up with the constant need for these changes and decide to extend their help to their kind. Now, they work at the New Orleans police department and are known as a top paid lawyer that’s often favored and requested by vampires. They assist other vampires, allowing their kind to bypass the laws easier than they did. They also specialize in cases where vampire individuals are found guilty of charges, helping them avoid the penalties. But nothing is done for free. In return, they will ask for unimaginable favors or profits. After all, their job is nowhere near easy; they work in a department dominated by werewolves who are constantly against them and their work. Will working in a place that doesn’t welcome them eventually affect this muse?

Description: During the day, they’re known as New Orleans’ beloved news anchor, almost a celebrity in town. They report the tragic news without batting an eye, all while knowing the truth behind the news they present. Their family’s history and their business are hidden from the public eye, despite this muse being on TV nearly everyday. Their family has been running a research facility that’s meant to investigate all kinds of supernaturals. But over the years, their business is kept hush, as it slowly became more of a prison after years of running tests on supernatural beings against their will. The agenda behind running this business is up to the typist. The writer who is interested in this skeleton may decide whether it was established with good intention, simply to study more about supernaturals, if they wish to produce a new kind of species that’s built from their scientific manipulations, etc. In order to help their family’s business flourish, this muse uses their excellent people's skills, fame, and connections to lure in different supernatural species. One may be considered their friend but the next, vanished from New Orleans or so other residents think. Those who get close to this muse may end up as a lab rat if they’re not careful.

Requirement: Must be a siren and female.

Description: Born with a curse, she can see the death dates on people. (Curse details are up to the typist.) This curse allows her to see everyone’s death dates except her own; these death dates are placed in randomized areas on people’s bodies. In addition, this curse shortens her lifespan. Therefore, she has very limited time to live and has to "steal" the lifespan of her victims by making them fall in love with her. For every person that falls in love with her, she gets to keep the lifespan they had left, thus extending her lifespan. The moment they say "I love you" to her is when their lifespan gets transferred to her, which also sends the other person to immediate death after they say those three words. It must be said vocally and directly to the siren. It will not count otherwise if it is thought mentally or written out. She will meet one person in her life who does not have a date on their body. (This can result in different storylines; this will be left up to the typist who claims this skeleton.) The day she falls in love is the day the curse will be lifted off her and the day she will reach enlightenment, thus becoming a demi-goddess mermaid who will no longer have to rely on others' deaths to extend their lifespan.

Restrictions: The muse does not know the way to break this curse is for her to fall in love. Do not meta-game. Once again, this means this piece of information is strictly kept OOC.

Description: A pair of identical twins were born into a coven whose tradition is to consume the weaker twin in order to absorb their powers, therefore strengthening their own and multiplying the coven's power by double. [Consume in this context means a power battle between the two and whoever wins absorbs the other's powers and soul.] But because the twins love and cherish each other very much, they sought out for every possibility that would prevent them from having to consume one another. After several methods and tries, they traveled across the world to pray to a pair of twin gods known in history for deeply caring for one another. There, they prayed the gods would lend their situation understanding. To both of the witch twins’ surprise, the gods heard their prayer and blessed them by linking them together for life, preventing their coven from trying to force them apart by consuming one another. Then, the twins escaped to New Orleans and joined the clan de elysee. They will continue to navigate the world with this new bond between them. With this new bond, they share the same lifespan; when one dies, the other will also die. When one feels pain, the other will also feel it regardless of if they are with their twin or in the same location. They also share special telepathy, being able to communicate with one another mentally to a certain extent. However, both are still in hiding from their original coven that they escaped from. They are being actively hunted while in New Orleans because they broke the rules of their previous coven.

Description: Description: This muse is a powerful coven witch who was known in the supernatural world for their remarkable supreme ability: divination (Please read up on what this power is first on our witches page). Their name is one that is known amongst witches and other supernaturals. In 2012, this muse was captured by the darkness that is killing all supernaturals in the world. However, the darkrness did not kill them. Because they are such a powerful witch, the darkness kept them hostage, forcefully brainwashing them to perform whatever they desired. They were brainwashed and acted as a slave to the darkness for 9 years. In 2020, they were sent to New Orleans with a special task. During this mission, they somehow managed to escape their captivity. In order to successfully release themselves from the darkness holding them hostage, the witch had to sacrifice a part of themselves: their divination supreme ability. Their divination ability allowed them vivid insights and visuals into the past and/or future. Because they gave that up, their vision is now black and white. This was the only way for them to become undetectable from the darkness tracking them down. They have not left New Orleans since their escape; they are currently trying to recover mentally from the brainwashing and conditioning that was done to them over the years.
