FULL NAME Shin Taeyeon; Talia Iris Shin
OTHER NAME Talia Iris Shin
NICKNAMES
 — Tae, Taetae, Yeonnie, T/Tee ; common nicknames, all derived from her given name
 — Doll Tae/Doll Yeon ; a play on Taeyeon's name and the fact that Taeyeon has a doll-like appearance.
 — Bird Yeon/Sae-yeon ; a play on Taeyeon's name, her fondness for and fasciation of birds ("sae" in Korean means bird, and is very similar phonetically to "tae"); also hints at her place as a vocalist because birds are known for their songs and she is, in fact, quite the vocalist.
 — Songbird, Mockingbird ; continuing the bird nicknames, these are more commonly used by the trainers and staff of BM Ent because of "Sae-yeon" and her uncanny ability to mimic melodies and some sounds (See trivia for more details)

FACECLAIM Jinsoul (Loona)
BACK-UP Somin (KARD), Heejin (Loona)

WEIGHT 46 kg
HEIGHT 165 cm

APPEARANCE
Slender, supple, and almost willowy in shape due to years of high energy and an active lifestyle before becoming a trainee. Although not naturally a blond, she did spend many of her teen years with bleached hair and took a liking to it, to the point that even as a trainee, she was noted for being blond (and it was a potential stlistic choice for her future debut, as well). Her earlobes are pierced twice each (usually filled with innocuous studs), and she has a couple outer helix peircings that usually have either simple hoops in them, or they're covered by her hair. She has no tattoos or birthmarks, though in the future, Taeyeon is interested in both more piercings and a tattoo or two.

FASHION
Taeyeon’s taste in fashion tends to veer more toward casual comfort off the clock (dorms, practice, airport), and somewhere between tasteful chic and fresh-fun  on the clock (schedules, recordings, variety shows). In the warmer months, she opts for lighter weight materials; in cooler, she prefers layers so that if she’s too warm, she can always take off a jacket or one of her layers. Ideally, however, Taeyeon will opt for nice jeans (maybe with artistic rips) or slacks, sneakers and boots, nice shirts, and a jacket. In cooler months, the shirt is often swapped for something long-sleeved or a sweater, and a jacket fo heavier weight. And at the dorm: hoodies. All the hoodies.

As far as performances or award shows, or anything requiring dress up, Taeyeon is happy to default to whatever the stylists prefer, but she’s always quick to voice her dislike if an outfit is too revealing, or unusually uncomfortable, or a skirt/dress with too short of a hem.

ENFP-A: the Campaigner, Instinct, Gryffinpuff

sociable, charming, perceptive, good-natured, dedicated, passionate

ELABORATION

sociable, good-natured
Taeyeon is an incredibly friendly, sociable person. She’s very much an extrovert in the sense that where there’s someone new to meet, she’s there to greet them and make them feel comfortable and welcome to the situation. Lively and warm, Taeyeon works hard to come across as not just approachable, but as someone with a good nature that’s easy to get along with. Because of her affable personality, Taeyeon’s the sort of person that makes friends easily and is very easy to be around.

dedicated, passionate
Along with being sociable and very much the sort to network and make friends within the industry, Taeyeon is the sort of person that doesn’t just claim to know a lot of people, but truly does know them, putting forth the effort to remember all the little, seemingly insignificant details about people. She dedicates time, effort, and energy into all these people, and so many of them she considers to be her friends. She’s so effortlessly enthusiastic and ardent about the things she cares about, and as a result, her passion comes across as one of her most charming points.

charming, optimistic
Perpetually viewing the world in light of the positives and what could be, Taeyeon optimism is undeniable. While she knows there’s bad out there in the world, she refuses to let it bring her down, choosing to look on the bright side of things and believe in the best possible outcome for as long as she can. It’s charming how optimistic she is, and how well it works for her, because Taeyeon’s charming on her own, too. She’s quick to smile and laugh, and always has something kind and endearingly positive to offer to those around her.

quirky
Taeyeon herself is somewhat unconventional, however, in her personality, her humor, and in the way she handles life. Raised by two parents that met somewhat unconventionally, and then encouraged to follow her dreams no matter where they might take her, (and then evidenced later when the girls of Cherie are dragged back through time), the way Taeyeon approaches life is certainly out there. She believes in a lot of different things, or will admit to not quite believing but also not disbelieving either, just because she can’t prove anything one way or another. She also doesn’t mind drawing attention to herself, making jokes and being something of a joke in order to bring someone comfort or to diffuse a situation. Her humor’s a bit weird, too, not in a bad way, but more that she’s all jokes and funny commentary, the sort of quirky, bright humor that would make her good on a variety show.

perceptive, sensitive, thoughtful
Taeyeon is all about details and pays close attention to all the little things, whether those things are little quirks and facts that make people unique, or whether it’s in the way she reads the room and responds to it. She’s perceptive, great with the details, and very much in touch with her emotions and those of the people around her. She’s sensitive and responsive to those little things, and careful enough to catalogue all the things she’s learning to use later, or to put them into effect immediately for someone else’s benefit. She’s thoughtful like, that, always thinking of the people around her and the situation she finds herself in. No one is unimportant to Taeyeon, so perhaps that why it’s so easy for her to pick up on all those little things.

curious, honest
There’s beauty in everything, and Taeyeon is fascinated by all of it. The world is big and wonderful, and there’s so much beauty to be found everywhere within it. Taeyeon isn’t afraid to take that step, to ask those questions, to approach that person. She has an undeniable thirst for knowledge, and for the power and stability that comes from knowing what’s going on. After all, it’s hard to be afraid when you know exactly what’s happening. For that same reason, Taeyeon’s also honest. She likes knowing what’s going on, and she has no issue with sharing that knowledge with those around her. It can be overwhelming sometimes, surely -- not everyone is going to want to know what’s happening when a plane takes off, or about the storm that moving down the coast toward them. Sometimes there’s fear that knowledge can’t contend with. But for Taeyeon, personally, she loves to know, and she’s going to share what she knows if given even half the chance.

gullible, naive, guileless
In the long run, though, Taeyeon’s still just a teenager, a baby in comparison to so many around her, and lacking experience and wisdom in the ways of the world. It’s why sometimes she doesn’t understand that not everyone wants to know what’s going on. It’s why sometimes, despite her best efforts, she just doesn’t know how to handle a situation. It’s also why, sometimes, Taeyeon can be convinced to believe truth within a lie. Gullible is a harsh way to put it, because it’s not like Taeyeon believes everything she hears, but it’s more like she lets herself believe things sometimes when she knows she shouldn’t. Taeyeon doens’t like to lie to people. She can, and she’s decent at it when the situation demands, but she doesn’t like to, and she likes to believe that she won’t be lied to in return. When someone tells her something, she tends to believe them unless she’s seen evidence to convince herself otherwise. And that... Well, that can be irritating at best, to troublesome and dangerous at worst.

stubborn
Headstrong is one way to put it. Stubborn is another. (And perhaps a bit more accurate, too.) Being stubborn isn’t always a bad thing. It means being able to stand up for what you believe in, even when no one else believes in it. But sometimes it also means a dogged refusal to change your mind even when there’s good reason and you should. Sometimes Taeyeon is in the first category, standing up for the people around her, for the things they believe in, even when there’s a force of opposition in her way -- fighting for an extra break during practices, giving someone a break from their diet, an early night or day off. And sometimes it means standing her ground when Taeyeon shouldn’t, like staying late to practice when the leader or manager thinks she should be back at the dorm, an extra cup of coffee or energy drink instead of real food, an exra five minutes of sleep in the morning.

disorganized
For as passionate and enthusiastic as Taeyeon can be, that gungho attitude doesn’t extend to everything. Tasks that are more tedious and practical, anything demanding of organization and repetition, quickly becomes annoying for Taeyeon. She’s messy, and while her sense of organization works for her, it doesn’t work for everyone else. It’s safe to safe that while Taeyeon can be left to practice on her own, or do just about anything that it required of being an idol, the girls of Cherie also know better than to ask Taeyeon to organize the fridge, or...organize just about anything, really.

impulsive, restless
For as intelligent and as perceptive as Taeyeon can be, there’s one more big issue that she has, and that is how impulsive she is, especially when coupled with her more restless nature. As a kid, Taeyeon bounced from one idea to the next, going from wanting to be a pirate to an astronaut to a veterinarian. When Taeyeon decided she wanted to sing and dance and be an idol, her parents thought she’d move on just as quickly as before. But she didn’t. But what didn’t change was that sometimes Taeyeon still feels that restless urge beneath her skin, like there’s something more out there, something to do, or somethign she needs to say, like there’s something she needs to work on. There’s always some part of Taeyeon that’s not completely satisfied with herself because there’s something missing. Over the years, it’s made her impulsive. If something catches her eye, she’s going to do it; whether that means buying that outfit, or entering that shop, staying up all night and learning that dance, or auditioning on a whim for a company she knows she’ll never make it into. And maybe there’s some hope there, some unrelenting optimism that maybe it’ll work out, but there’s also that knowledge that something is missing, and she just needs to find it.

BACKGROUND
Shin Taeyeon was born on March 1, 2018, to Shin Taesung and Shin Yoona in a quiet suburb of Toronto, Canada, and from the beginning, her life was a charmed one. Taeyeon’s mother had lived in Canada all of her life, while her father had immigrated in his teens with his family to follow his father’s job. Despite going to the same high school, the two didn’t cross paths until a fateful meeting in 2015 at a concert held in the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto.
Taesung and Yoona were both young themselves when they were married just out of high school after a whirlwind romance, but baby Taeyeon wasn’t born for a couple more years. By that time, Taesung was putting himself through college, while Yoona was taking a gap year in her studies to deal with her pregnancy. Despite their age, they were happy together, and happy with their newborn daughter. Taeyeon’s childhood, as a result, was a happy one.
Growing up, Taesung and Yoona encouraged their daughter in every venture she attempted, and they filled her days with smiles, laughter, and music. Having met at a concert, it was only natural that Yoona and Taesung expose their daughter early on to the wonders of K-pop. So while young Taeyeon was exposed to numerous up and coming groups, she also listened to the older groups that her parents had grown up with. And so, the groups that had helped to shape their lives would shape hers, too. And it was only natural, of course, to introduce Taeyeon to the group that gotten her parents to meet in the first place.
Despite a bit of a rocky start -- initially, Taeyeon was convinced she wanted to be a vet or an astronaut -- it didn’t take too long for Taeyeon to latch onto the idea of being an idol. Although her parents weren’t totally convinced, likely assuming that this, too, was a phase that would pass, they looked into vocal lessons when Taeyeon was old enough, and nurtured her budding dream of being an idol.
Taeyeon contented herself with voice lessons, unwilling to put more of a financial burden on her parents. But in her free time, between attending school and lessons, Taeyeon began teaching herself to how to dance from tutorials she found on YouTube. And as she began to get a handle on the basics of dance, Taeyeon began to stay after school during the week to teach herself piano from guides online and in the classroom.
But there was a problem. Taeyeon was in Canada, and the stage lights in South Korea was miles upon miles away, across continents and oceans, and so far beyond her grasp. If she wanted to be an idol, she’d have to find some way to get herself to South Korea.
Or, alternatively, take advantage of South Korea coming to her.
On occasion, larger companies would hold international auditions, scouting talent from across the globe, and while Canada wasn’t a huge target for such auditions -- boasting nowhere near the same number as countries like the United States, China, and Japan, Canada did have a solid Korean population, and they were a target. All Taeyeon had to do was convince her parents to let her audition when they happened to occur again. So when Taeyeon broached the topic to her parents, they seemed surprised, but more open to the idea than Taeyeon had initially expected.
Her first opportunity came in the summer of 2031. Taeyeon was still young then, barely thirteen, and still just a baby, but the idea of auditioning was an exciting one for her, and when the dates aligned just right, Taeyeon couldn’t help but go for it.
BM Ent. Every aspiring idol knew of BM Ent. Fortuna was a big name in the industry...until they weren’t. But during their prime, they had reigned supreme. They’d started small, a nugu group from an unknown company, and had risen through the ranks of their peers after numerous covers of then-top artists like BTS, Stray Kids, and Black Pink. Considering their excellent covers, Taeyeon had been a fan despite her youth, and had spent hours as a child replaying their covers and performances. To be in BM Entertainment would be a dream come true.
And so Taeyeon auditioned....and failed. She was too young, they told her in the week following her audition. She was good, but time would make her better. Because of that, and because of BM Ent’s  dedication to caring for their artists, Taeyeon’s age on top of growing up outside of the country was a concern.
Taeyeon was hurt, but she did understand. After all, she was only thirteen, and according to her research, BM Ent would return for another round of auditions in two years. She had time to mature and prepare to offer a better version of herself.
Amused, and perhaps also somewhat bemused by Taeyeon’s dedication, Taesung and Yoona supported their daughter’s determination, helping her find dance lessons to attend, and going out of their way to speak more Korean at home and in public in order to make the language as second-nature as English was. It was hard, but it was nothing that Taeyeon wasn’t willing to endure. She was just a normal girl, and to be a trainee would make things so much harder. So she worked harder, practiced more, and did her best to become the best version of herself.
Two years passed quickly. And then, somehow, it was summer of 2033, and BM Entertainment was back in Canada. And this time... Of course, Taeyeon was determined to make it in this time.

STAGE NAME: Byeol ; meaning star, Taeyeon wanted to remind herself to always aim for the stars. Not in one of those fastidious or “holier-than-thou” ways, but more in the legitimate “this is my reminder that I have been given an opportunity and I want to be my own star and a shining reminder for everyone else, too”
TRAINEE YEARS: 3ish years; June 2033 - 2036
TRAINEE LIFE: Taeyeon’s life as a trainee was fairly quiet. Growing up outside of Korea and only moving  after being accepted meant that while she had some experience with the the language at home and the cultute int he surrounding area and in Koreatown... Well, there was some culture shock. No matter how much you prepare, it’s never quite the same as physically being there and going through something. So the culture shock of going from Canada to Korea was a bit stressful. Taeyeon also had the issue of the language barrier. Despite working hard to immerse herself and practice at home, it was still another thing to make it to Korea and be surrounded by all the dialects, and accents and realize that her Korean was a little more stilted and theirs was a little more comfortable, and...well. Stress. Lots of stress.

Time helped, though. Time in BM Ent, with her fellow trainees and different classes, practices, everything. Time, immersion, and people that looked past her stilted formalities due to her passion and dedication helped Taeyeon find her groove. she made friends with her fellows, or as friendly as one can be in such a cut throat environment. And Taeyeon was sure ot never compromise herself -- her integrity, her enthusiasm, her passion, none of it. It made her someone that her fellows saw as a friend, someone to go to when they needed an uplifting word or optimism, someone to briefly lean upon when they were tired and needed a shoulder. Taeyeon was happy to be that for them.

As such, before her eventual debut, Taeyeon worked hard and otherwise kept herself out of trouble. She occasionally featured in practice videos (if any were revealed), but she otherwise kept herself on the straight and narrow in order to continue pursuing her ultimate dream.

When Taeyeon was revealed to be a member of the chosen lineup for Cherie, she was excited -- ecstatic, even. Finally, after years of training; and years more of practice, hard work, dedication; she was on her way to truly becoming an idol, to achieving her dream. She knew it was likely to happen, even before it ewas announced. She was one of the best vocal trainees within BM Ent, and one of the better dancers, and she knew she was ranking high within all of the evaluation, but still. The actual act of finding out and realizing she ewas slated to debut in Cherie was one of the most joyous moments in her life. (And you can bet that the first thing she did was find the other five girls and congratulate them as well. They’d all worked hard, every single one of them, and they all deserved a good cheer and recognition.)

ARTICLES: She’s compared to Seo Sieun/Bitna (which I think will be pretty normal for all Cherie girls, all considered)

ALIAS: Seo Sieun
STAGE NAME: Bitna ; Initialy, she wasn’t going to use a stage name, but then she decided that while she liked the name Sieun (the combination of the names of two of her favorite girl group members!), she understood that she wouldnd’t always remember to answer, and she still wanted a name to be hers on stage, one to keep a barrier between Taeyeon -- Sieun -- on stage, and the one off stage. Bitna was the name she almost chose in the present, instead of Byeol, so that’s what she went with. Bitna, meaning light, implying in a similar manner that she wanted to be a light of inspiration -- for herself, and for all those around her.
FAKE BACKSTORY: The best way to lie is to not lie, and Taeyeon knows that. She was already going to be a bit more secretive about her family, but after being dragged back in time, she simply chose to do that.

Taeyeon’s story, as Sieun, is that she grew up in Canada, an only child, and moved to Korea after passing an audition with her parents’ permission and endorsement. She’s always careful not to mention their names, or talk about where she grew up, though she does admit to Toronto being her hometown. She also makes sure to mention that while her parents support her dream, they themselves are very private and don’t want to be in the public eye, so she won’t speak about them much. (Instead of using their names, she refers to them as mom and dad, and not once does she ever give them even fake names in order to perpetuate the whole “extremely private, leave them alone” lifestyle.” and since they don’t actually...you know, exist, she’s never caught returning home for trips, etc. Her lie is only somewhat a lie. (And it’s okay cause as Taeyeon, she’s more open about her parents, their lovestory, their endless support, all of it.)

LIFE IN THE PAST: It’s weird, because you might assume that Taeyeon feels like a fish out of water while living in the past like that. But raised on older gen kpop through her parents’ love for it, raised on the kpop her parents grew up on, all it did was prepare her for a time that she never thought they’d get to experience. And then she and the rest of Cherie fall through time and somehow she’s in the prime years of kpop, living in the same time and era as her idols. She’s so excited!

She’s perpetually optimistic about living in the past and exisiting as a Fortuna member despite the awareness that she’s literally twenty years in the past, and things are not right, and nothing is the way it needs to be. During this time in the past, she’s careful not to reveal the fact that she knows about the groups that are debuting, the songs that active groups are about trelease (and all the lyrics and dances to many of those songs), because obviously that’s knowledge that she shouldn’t have. She knows so much, but she doesn’t let it get her down, instead letting the knowledge hype her up and being the big fan in the “present” of Fortuna that she obviously would have never gotten to be while with Cherie.

The other members think it’s kind of cute, but probably also think it’s a little annoying because Taeyeon already knows all the dances (which means being careufl to not spoil a dance that doesn’t exist yet, or is still being choreographed), so all she needs is to watch the mv or something once or twice to hammer out the details, and then she’s got it and can dance and sing along with the best of them. (It’s super cute. ....and probably super annoying.) She quickly develops a repuation as a fangirl and a hype girl, especially after joining as an MC, because she knows all the groups and all the members and she’s so genuinely enthusiastic and cheerful about meeting them.

ARTICLES

A fan-written article about Sieun’s mysterious family history would be fun, one kind of poking at “Well, we know her name, but we can’t find her? Maybe we’re not looking in the right place, the right schools and stuff.” (And if ever asked about this, Sieun can say she was homeschooled instead of attending public school.)

Maybe articles about Sieun after she’s become an MC, how friendly and hype she is for all the different groups, she knows all their songs, dance key points. (Some netizens think it’s cute, others think she’s a try hard and a up.)

Definitely an article or two about her behavior with Soobin, since they MC together (or Yeosang/Minho if you opt for them as her cohost instead), like how Arin was occasionally accused of being too familiar and touchy. (Is Sieun too touchy? Not intentionally. She’s just being hype and excited about whoever they’re with...and probably hype about mcing with Soobin since she’s a big TXT fan as well. And then she develops the crush as well and...yeah.)

FORTUNA
Traveling back in time is an absolute trip, something that only happens in dramas and movies. And you can bet that going from existing as Cherie member Byeol to Fortuna member Bitna is....difficult, to say the least. But it’s not impossible, it’s just something to get used to, and they all have their struggles, things that they fight to adjust to. For Taeyeon -- Sieun, as she names herself in Fortuna -- it’s easier than most. It’s an era she was raised on, music that she grew up singing and dancing to, music she knew the lyrics to before she even knew the alphabet. So she takes it upon herself to hype the others up, to bring them a ray of hope when they’re uncertain or need a lift to their spirits. She likes to think she does a good job, too, being the vitamin and ray of sunshine that Fortuna needs even as the six of them take strides to conquer the industry (and, hopefully, find a way back home).

Within Fortuna, Taeyeon finds herself closest to Taera -- Yiyoung, as she becomes known. They came into BM Ent around the same time as trainees, and despite the difference in their skill focus, Taera’s more helpful nature made her the sort of person Taeyeon admired. It’s something she still admires, especially as the girls struggle within Fortuna. The other member Taeyeon finds herself feeling closest to is actually Edelweiss. As the leader, Edelweiss has a weight on her shoulders that the other girls don’t have to bear, a weight that Taeyeon sometimes feels when she struggles to bring vibrancy and hope back to the girls. She feels for Edelweiss, and she aims to help their leader in all the little ways that she can.

BRAIN MOON
The Brian that Taeyeon met in the past was a far cry from the Brian she knows of the present, and it was interesting trying to reconcile the two. What she’d heard of Brian from those around her, included others in the industry, led Taeyeon to believe that Brian was a bit of a cold . And maybe he was initially. But as he began to work more closerly with Taeyeon and the other members of Cherie -- of Fortuna, as they were to be known, she came to understand him in a different light. Eventually, Taeyeon began to view Brian as the older brother figure she’d never had, sometimes even going so far as to approach him for advice since she couldn’t speak to her own parents in times of need.
A7v0hMG.png
SEO YIHYUN
In the past, Yihyun quickly becomes someone Taeyeon knows she can rely on. He’s kind and friendly, and despite initially not believing they’re from the future, he doesn’t remain disbelieving for long. Soon enough, he’s treating the girls with the same respect as everyone else, if not more because he’s aware of the pressure they must feel with assimilating to the past and holding themselves with a confidence they don’t feel as girls they never really were. Much like Brian, Yihyun becomes someone Taeyeon views as an elder brother, and someoen she goes to just for a moment when the world becomes too much to bear and she finally needs someone to lean upon. She has her friends, sure, but they don’t know the truth, and Yihyun does, and Yihyun would never dare laugh at her for needing a moment to crumble under the weight of the world.
A7v0hMG.png
ALYSSA MOON
As an only child, Taeyeon had always desired a big sister. And while she had sisters in Cherie -- in Fortuna, as she came to call them -- there was something special about Alyssa. Maybe it was because she wasn’t just a year or two Taeyeon’s senior, like Edelweiss and Taera. Maybe it was because she was confident and mature and has a successful life and career for herself, and she was the sort of woman that Taeyeon aspired to be. Whatever the reason, when Alyssa finally allows the girls in, Taeyeon doesn’t hesitate to take to her, treating Alyssa like the older sister figure that she was poised to be. And it’s so nice, too, to have someone older in her life to offer her true advice that only another female could give. Boys, life, the future. Sure, Brian and Yihyun are nice, but they’re boys, and Alyssa’s a girl, and sometimes you just need another girl to speak to.
A7v0hMG.png
HONG YEOJUN
Ironically, the Yeojun Taeyeon meets int he past isn’t all too dissimilar from the Yeojun of her present. He’s just as aloof and strict, and utterly unbelieving of anything outaide of the norm. If Taeyeon had more energy to spare, she woudl take that as a personal challenge. He doesn’t believe that they’re from the future, doesn’t believe them for years, even though they have no reason to lie. Why would they make that up? It’s not their concept, they don’t breathe a word of it anywhere. No one else will believe them, so it’s not something they can just go around telling anyone. And yet he doesn’t believe them. (Yes, she’s personally challenged and a bit offended.) So in short, Taeyeon avoids him just as much as he essentially avoids them. If he doesn’t want to believe them, then she won’t waste the energy on getting him to believe, or...any energy at all, really. She has better things to focus on.
A7v0hMG.png
JUNG SAEMI
The Saemi that Taeyeon meets int he past is just as sweet and thoughtful and overwhelmingly kind as the Saemi of the future, and Taeyeon is legitimately overjoyed to meet her again. She immediately takes to treating Saemi like she had before -- respectfully, of course, like the professional and trainer that Saemi is, and like the industry senior she deserves to be recognized as. But Taeyeon also treats Saemi much like an older sister (old sister because she’s not a mom...yet). Of course, when Saemi finds out they’re from the future and believes it... Well, you don’t speak of the future because you run the risk of changing things. And Taeyeon firmly adheres to that rule. But when it’s just her and Saemi... Well, sometimes she smiles and tells her in the kindest way she can, “In the future, you’re happy. You love the person you are and the people you surround yourself with. Trust yourself to make the right choices again. I believe in you.” (It’s not a spoiler of any kind. And she’s not wrong, either. Sometimes people just need a bit of reassurance.)
A7v0hMG.png
LEE JIYOUNG
The Jiyoung that the girls meet when they’re introduced as Fortuna has a chip on her shoulder. She’s young and struggling to prove herself, on a probationary period as a choreographer for the company and determined to make her name. She did, of course, rightfully so. She worked hard to prove she deserved it. She’s aloof in a similar way to Yeojun, but less of an about things. She’s honest, straightforward, and a bit blunt. But she means well, and despite her more aloof nature, it’s clear that she has a soft spot for all of the Fortuna girls, and so of course Taeyeon has a soft spot for Jiyoung as well.
A7v0hMG.png
RA JAEWOONG
The Jaewoong that Taeyeon meets in the past is very much the same as the male in her memories -- but younger, more lively, more energetic...and also more wild. He takes the news of the time travel so easily, as if it’s nothing, as if it’s justa  piece to a puzzle that they hadn’t been aware was in the works. But he doesn’t treat them any differently. Of course, it takes Taeyeon time before she can gather the courage to approach him again to ask to be taught production, and a bit more time before he agrees -- though he does, and Taeyeon wonders if perhaps he’d agreed like he had in her present becauseof this moment in the past. Still, he begins teaching Taeyeon the basics of production, a process that she takes to like a duck to water. Jaewoong very much becomes another big brother figure to Taeyeon, one that she treasures and holds near and dear to her heart.

ETHAN SEO
Meeting Ethan in the past is an interesting experience because he’s so close to their age, and he’s still just a trainee rather than being a senior, and it’s weird because suddenly that barrier that Taeyeon had imagined is gone. He’s also one of Jaewoong’s students, and that means he’s free game to ask questions of and learn from. Due to their close ages, Taeyeon treats Ethan as more of a friend than a sibling or a more responsible figure. He’s just as energetic and hilariously chaotic as they themselves are, and he gets along with some of the other girls like a house on fire -- all noise and laughter and a warmth that can’t be faked. Out of all the staff, Ethan is the male that Taeyeon feels closest to, but also the onthat she treats the most familiarly. He’s a friend before anything else, even after they both debut, and she’s alwyas happy to drag him into her group chats and introduce her to her friends. If she were to ever return to the future... well, she’d miss them all, true, but she’d miss that easy closeness she felt with Ethan the most. They wouldn’t be friends after all; they’d be labelmates with a senior-junior relationship again.
A7v0hMG.png
'00 LINE
Before Taeyeon -- Sieun, as they all know her -- there had been smaller group chats. Girls with girls, guys with guys, the occasional co-ed group because of being within the same company. But it wasn’t until Taeyeon started collecting numbers and adding them to a massive groupchat that the true ‘00 liner chat started up.

It started with their debut, when Fortuna’s debut promotions initially overlapped with NCT Dream, Itzy, The Boyz, and Everglow. Having grown up on their music -- as well as the music of so many others -- it didn’t take long at all for Taeyeon (as Sieun, of course) to cement the status of being a fangirl and someone that loves to hype. She made strides to introduce herself, quickly becoming friends with the ‘00 line members of the four groups. From them, her collection began, but it wasn’t until Fortuna’s first comeback in November, and toward the end of their promotion cycle, that Fortuna’s promotions overlapped with Stray Kids, and she met the boys that would help to bring the rest of the ‘00 line together.

Over the next few month and up until her debut as an MC with TXT member Soobin, Taeyeon slowly began collecting more friends through her existing friendgroup. But once she became an MC, meeting new people and making friends (and subsequently adding them to their group chat) became leagues easier.

They chat constantly, texting back and forth, hyping each other, and being fairly wholesome in their attempts to cheer each other on during lengthy practices and long schedules. they don’t get to hang out often, but when they do, it’s usually something quick. A cafe or boba “date” (it’s not a date if it’s like six of them, okay), late night snack runs after practice, all that good stuff. And sometimes it’s just late night video chats when they’re exhausted but can’t quite drag themselves into the depths of sleep.
A7v0hMG.png
SUNSHINE SQUAD
At the same time Taeyeon meets the first crew of people that eventually join her ‘00 liner chat, she also meets Haechan of NCT Dream, Hyojung of Oh My Girl, and Joy of Red Velvet. Then, later, she meets and adds Felix of Stray Kids as well. Through those initial four, the lots of them branch out and bring others into what they quickly come to call their “sunshine squad” -- that is to say, a squadron on individuals that always aim to look on the bright side and bring up those around them.

It doesn’t take long at all before they bring in their remaining core crew: Ateez’s Yunho and Seventeen’s DK. Between the seven of them, their group chat is one of constant uplifting messages, quotes, songs, and anything they happen to see that makes them laugh. And in a way, Taeyeon treasures this group more so than any others because when she’s too low to hold her head high, she knows that they’ll be there for her to bring her back up again. She loves this crew, and she treausres them with all her heart, eternally grateful for the strength they give her when she’s too battered to continue on her own.

They hang out on occasion outside of promotional cycles, usually meeitng up for boba or treats after lengthy practices. But more often than not, it's just easier to meet up and chill backstage during overlapping promotions (it not just constant messaging).
A7v0hMG.png
O Canada
This crew is perhaps both the most obnoxious and the most entertaining. Taeyeon was lucky to meet Wendy, Mark, Kevin, and Jacob early on, with Wendy soon getting her in touch with Somi as well. The six of them talk mostly about the struggles of being fluent English speakers, and needing to make their words and accents Korean in order to be understood. they’re also big on English jokes and memes, shooting them back and forth because while their members understand...well, no one understands the struggles of speaking English (and missing home) quite like they do. They don’t meet up like the others do, not really. They’re more likely to chill and text, and occasionally hang out backstage when their promotions cycles overlap.
A7v0hMG.png
GROUPS
It's important to note that through her '00 line groupchat and her Sunshine squad, she ends up becoming friends with entire groups during her time in Fortuna. Her relationship with them all somewhat varies, but overall they're all positive. She becomes close enough to all the groups with members in her 00 line, Sunshine Squad, and Canada chats, to the point that she seeks them out and greets them when promotions overlap. But she's closest (in the future) with Ateez, TXT, Stray Kids, NCT Dream, Itzy, and Everglow.
who's around her future?
A7v0hMG.png
SHIN TAESUNG
Taeyeon loves and adores her father with a ferocity that is unparalleled. As much as she loves her mother, her father is the one whose ceaseless support is perhaps what means the most to her. While her parents don’t push Taeyeon to follow a typical path and encourage her endeavors regardless of the what, Taesung was also an immigrant to Canada, the son of hard-workers that Taeyeon could only hope to live up to the expectations of. (And her grandparents weren’t exactly thrilled with Taeyeon’s decision.) But with her father’s support, Taeyeon pursued her dream, and she was happy. She is happy. Taeyeon talks to Taesung regularly, like every three or four days, and always once on the weekend for a lengthy call to catch up and let him know what she's been doing and the progress she's been making.
A7v0hMG.png
SHIN YOONA
Taeyeon’s relationship with her mother is just as supportive as the one with her father, but with less of that edge of needing to earn her approval. Yoona loves her daughter just as much as her husband Taesung does, but while there’s an undercurrent of wanting to make Yoona proud, there’s also the fact that Yoona alreayd is proud, and that she just wants Taeyeon to be happy. Growing up as a fan of kpop, Yoona isn’t totally unaware of the harsh realities of the industry, but while she has he rfears, the fact that she knows Taeyeon is pursuing something she loves, something that makes her happy... well, that’s what matters. Yoona and Taeyeon talk just as often as Taeyeong talks with her father -- separately, if not in the same phone call. The distance doesn’t hinder their relationship at all.
A7v0hMG.png
CHERIE
Cherie is Taeyeon’s group, her present and her reality. She’s worked hard to debut with these girls for the last few years, constantly pushing herself as they’ve pushed themselves, and working toward becoming not just a team, but a gorup worthy of carrying the BM Ent name. There’s only one hiccup: no matter what they do, they’re always being compared to Fortuna, to all the girls of the past, girls that disappeared years ago without a trace. It shouldn’t get to Taeyeon. She shouldn’t let it bother her. But somehow it does. Somehow, and she thinks the rest of Cherie agree, it’s hard to be compared to six girls you’ve never met, six seniors that you look up to and respect, but have never seen before outside of grainy practice videos and fancams of shining stage lights. (If nothing else, she knows fellow member Taera is bothered by the comparisons just as much as she is. It's petty, but it helps)
A7v0hMG.png
BRIAN MOON
Brian is Taeyeon’s boss, and she admires him a great deal for how he treats he, the other members of Cherie, the remaining trainees, and the staff of BM Ent. He treats them almost like family, and the trainees like...maybe not his children, but like neices and nephews. He means well, and he treats them well. Of course she admires him. But until her slip into the past, that’s the limits of their relationship: very much boss and trainee-turned-idol, respectful and polite, but distanced.
A7v0hMG.png
SEO YIHYUN
In the present, Taeyeon’s relationship with Yihyun is pretty similar to what she has with Brian: he’s a boss, she’s an employee. They’re polite, but a little less stilted and formal about it because Yihyun’s made himself more approachable, and while he’s a boss, he’s not the boss, so it’s easier to talk to Yihyun more freely.
A7v0hMG.png
ALYSSA MOON
In the present, Taeyeon finds Alyssa a bit distant. She’s nice, but the gap between their ages is so large that it puts her further into “bosslady” range, as opposed to someone that Taeyeon feels like she can approach and speak freely to. She’s more like a mother to Taeyeon than an older sister, or maybe more like a cool, collected aunt figure, since she is, unfortunately, nothing like Taeyeon’s own mother.
A7v0hMG.png
HONG YEOJUN
In the present, Yeojun is someone that Taeyeon isn’t particularly close to at all. He’s closed off and aloof, and while some people are simply like that, Taeyeon believes that he must have opened himself at some point in the past only to be hurt. After all, it’s in his late 40s now, and he’s still single and unattached. While that’s understandable in someone’s youth, it’s harder to understand in their adult life, especially when they’re alone. (So yeah, she has her theories, and she’ll never breathe a word to them about anyone.)
A7v0hMG.png
JUNG SAEMI
In the present, Saemi is one of Taeyeon’s favorite people. She’s sweet and thoughtful, and despite being a young mother, she doesn’t sacrifice time for either her career or her family. She’s dedicated to both, and her passion for both her children (and husband, Brian), and her job as BM Ent’s vocal trainer is something Taeyeon fiercely admires and desires to emulate in her future. Maybe one day she can also be a vocal trainer, or someone to help train the next generation of vocalists at a company. Regardless, Saemi is a mother, too, and Taeyeon tends to treat her like a substitute mom, a mom away from home, which Saemi always seems pleased by. They have a good relationship; all Taeyeon wants is to make her proud. (Perhaps a bit selfishly, Taeyeon likes to think she's one of Saemi's favorites. She always smiles at Taeyeon, like she knows something, sees something in her that Taeyeon isn't aware of. If only she knew.)
A7v0hMG.png
LEE JIYOUNG
In the present, Taeyeong finds Jiyoung to be a strict taskmaster, but not a cruel one. She asks her groups to work hard, but she puts in just as much effort to teach them, to fine tune the choreography to suit the group in question. She demands perfection in the details, but the satisfaction of pulling it off and seeing the flicker of pride in her expression is what makes it all worthwhile in Taeyeon’s book.
A7v0hMG.png
RA JAEWOONG
There’s something about Jaewoong that Taeyeon finds herself attracted to. He’s energetic and lively, sociable and sweet, and he really is very much the life of BM Ent. As the company’s music producer, he’s someone that Taeyeon tries to spend some of her free time with, curious as to what he’s doing and how he’s doing it. She’d like to learn production and use it as a way to express herself. When she’d asked initially, he’d been wary, curious, before ultimately agreeing. (So it’s unfortunate, truly, that they’d barely been on that track before Taeyeon was whisked away.)
A7v0hMG.png
ETHAN SEO
Ethan in the present is a bit odd to Taeyeon. While he’s nice enough and means well, he’s also an industry senior on top of being a song writer with the company, and it’s hard for her to cross that senior-junior relationship. She treats Ethan respectfully, politely, but there’s a barrier she doesn’t dare to cross, even if she does admire him for literally the entirety of her time in the company.

MORE?
More?
can i ask you some questions?
❝ HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT THE CIRCUMSTANCES? ❞
 — Taeyeon feels somewhat oddly about what happened, the whole being kicked back into the past business. She doesn’t believe in higher powers guiding and controlling things. Fate, destiny. She doesn’t like to think that things happen and they’re outside of control, that it’s going to happen no matter what they do to help or hinder. She believes that she, and anyone else, control their own fate, they make their own destiny. Their choices are what matter. But she also believes that sometimes things happen for a reason in order to set up the world for something else to happen (or not to). Sometimes to fleetingly touch a person’s like right when they need it, to bring people together, to be illumination for something somewhere, to make the world better somehow. She believes the girls of Cherie returned to the past for a reason, and she believes that when they’ve done what needs to be done, whatever it might be, they’ll return to the present. Somehow.

❝ HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT BECOMING A MEMBER OF FORTUNA? ❞
 — Taeyeon thinks the opportunity is a unique one, but not necessarily a bad one. Fortuna was a huge name under BM Ent, and Taeyeon was already a fan of them when she joined BM Ent and was preparing to debut as Cherie with the girls. But at the same time, Taeyeon worries that they’ll mess up somehow and change the future, whether by not living up to the hype Fortuna left behind, or by saying the wrong thing. She’s excited, but also understandbaly nervous.

❝ HOW DO THEY FEEL ABOUT THE PAST? ❞
 — Taeyeon loves the past. The era she promotes in as Fortuna is the era of music that she was raised on by her parents. It was popular when they were growing up, and it was popular to a degree as she was growing up, and of course her parents played all their favorite songs in her youth. She was even named for an idol -- Kim Taeyeon -- and when she’s in the part, she even gets the chance to meet that idol. what’s not to love? She grew up the proverbial child out of her time, listening to dated music and wishing, as all kids out of their era wish -- to go back and experience the concerts, to hear the songs when they were first released, to live in that era among peers that love it as much as she does. As part of Fortuna, she gets to stand on stand with those idols, hear their songs live, be there to experience it all. She loves it.

❝ IF THEY HAD A CHOICE, WOULD THEY GO BACK OR STAY? ❞
 — From an omniscient standpoint, this is a fun question. Initially, Taeyeon would absolutely initially choose to go home. The future is where her family is, and where she became a trainee, where she was given the chance to pursue her dream. What’s not to go back home for? But that answer would change over the course of the story, especially as she fell in love with Soobin. Once she comes to the realization that the future doesn’t have *everything* that she might want, that it has *a* dream but not her *new* dream... Well, that’s a hard question. I think in that case, she’d weigh the pros and cons. Her parents would miss her, absolutely, but if she has a chance of pursuing her dream in the past, of being happy with someone she loves...well, why shouldn’t she pursue that? But the real question here: does Soobin believe her? Because of course she confesses the truth. And if Soobin believes her, that’s one thing. But if he thinks she’s crazy... Well, there’s no reason to stay, is there?

PERSONALITY

INFJ

Soobin, like everyone, is a multifauceted individual, with many layers and different dynamics to his personality. On one hand, he’s the leader of TXT, eternally calm, confident, and patient. Even when things are rough or uncertain, he exudes that confidence, that ability to make things happen, to make everything okay. The boys of TXT know they can rely on him for anything, that even though he’s not the eldest, he’ll do his everything in order to keep them happy, healthy, and whole.

But Soobin is also more than just the leader. He’s his own person, and when he’s not leading the group, he likes his personal space and his privacy. As an introvert, he gathers strength and returns to himself with given peace and quiet to recover, because being around people for too long or too often drains him. (It’s why, despite adding him to the 00 liner group chat, the members don’t push him to interact as much, becase they know that as loud as they are, they can be overwhelming.) But he’s also someone that prefers order and structure. He likes things a certain way, and things outside of the norm can stress him out.

Despite being more of an introvert, Soobin is also deeply sensitive to those around him. He’s deeply caring and compassionate, and he cares a great deal for those that he’s allowed close. He just wants them to be happy, sometimes even at his own expense. Soobin is so genuinely sweet and caring, and he cares so much for s, his fans, and his friends. (And sometimes it pains Taeyeon to realize that she’s going to hurt him when she inevitably has to leave.)
how does it go?
LOVE STORY
Soobin and Taeyeon meet for the first time a couple weeks before their first episode MCing together, partially to get to know each other, and partially so they can get a feel for how they’ll work as a duo on the show. It’s too much to expect that they’ll be a perfect fit together right off the bat without at least talking and getting to know each other first, after all. But see, that’s the funny thing. Taeyeon already knows Soobin. Despite their schedules not overlapping, despite not meeting him during promomtions, Taeyeon knows all about Soobin (and TXT by extension), because she grew up listening to them. She was raised on this generation of music, and TXT was one of her favorites. So Taeyeon knows all about the comeback they’re going to prepare for next, the wins they’ll get next, what the stages will be like, all the songs, the lyrics, the dances. She knows it all. And she knows Soobin, too. ....to a point.

Because while Taeyeon knows Soobin as he was presented on stage, she’s less aware of Soobin as a person, because she grew up with the music, not with the boys themselves, so she’s a bit enamored to discover just how genuine and kind he is. He’s shy, and reluctant to push, but Taeyeon finds that she likes that, and she appreciates his quiet care.

“I think we’re going to be good friends one day,” is what she tells him in the middle of the meeting, after about an hour of quiet conversation and getting to know each other. Soobin pauses to stare at her, confused, then ultimately smiles, a flustered, toothy thing that prompts Taeyeon to smile in return.

 “I’d like that.”

When the Music Bank MC job starts up for real on July 24, 2020, the two are a little awkward, but they work well together, bouncing off of each other and showing a real chemistry that even netizens can’t deny. And it only grows from there. From that moment, the two MC together once a week for the next year and several months, crossing through multiple comebacks from both Fortuna and TXT. And for all of it, Taeyeon is appropriately enthusiastic. (She’s enthusiastic about all comebacks, about all the groups she and Soobin interview and introduce, which is what makes her such a good MC, but there’s always a little something special when she’s talking up her cohost’s group, TXT.)

Aside from the occasional article from knets, this time passes fairly easily. Fortuna grows in popularity, as does TXT, and Taeyeon and Soobin grow closer as friends, though they rarely get to hang out or chill off-camera thanks to promotions not overlapping as well.

Luckily, their companies shcdule in their favore in mid 2021, and as Fortuna begin promotions for Stereotype, TXT are in the middle of promoting Loser=Lover, and the duo manage to finally meet up again and catch up face to face rather than over their phones and text.

And it’s crazy. It’s absolutely crazy. But somehow, somewhere in there, Taeyeon finds herself missing Soobin’s presence. So like anyone that misses a friend, she goes out of her way to make time for them -- from meeting up after mutual late practices, to dressing down and sneaking out for boba of coffee at local shops that like their customers too much to rat out that they’re a favored haunt of numerous idols. But meeting up and hanging out doesn’t quite cut it.

It’s crazy, bewildering, even, because Taeyeon knows better. She’s from the future. She doens’t have a life here in the past (the present?) and yet she kind of (really) wants one. She can see herself having a life here, especially one with Soobin.

 There’s just...one big issue.

Like, a really big, uncompromisable issue....

INTERACTIONS
 — On Music Bank, they’re friendly. Initially more stilted and shy because they’re live in front of thousands of people, but that stiltedness eases the longer that they work on Music Bank together. they work well together, and it’s legitimately cute, and even the knets will admit that. For as shy and sweet as Soobin is, Taeyeon is just as sweet and thoughtful, going out of her way to make his time on the show a little easier, whether it be talking for him when he needs a moment to recoup, or hyping up the group they’re with in order to take attention off of him.
 — In private, they text regularly, especially during their time as MCs. They’re important to each other, and despite the differences in ther personalities, the underlying fact remains that they’re both truly passionate, genuine people that care for each other and those around them.
 — After their time as MCs comes to a close, they talk more haphazardly due to conflicting schedules, practices, and such. They both always have something to do, and often they find themselves playing message tag, sending each other pictures and songs and other things that they see or hear or do during the day that remind them of each other. Sometimes all Taeyeon does is send pictures of dogs she sees, or memes she finds and associates with Soobin. Sometimes Soobin tends pictures of Ollie, or TXT’s maknae line being little s as they badger Yeonjun or do something else equally “evil”.
 — And for the next few years, that’s kind of their norm.

ENDING
Down the line, I think Taeyeon needs to be honest and tell Soobin exactly what's going on: who she is, what she is, what Fortuna is. even if they don't get together, her just disappearing will destroy him, because they're friends and when someone you're close to and love on any level disappears without a word like Fortuna supposedly did... She doesn't want to do that, not to him.
(heh yeah so I wrote this before I even finished the rest of the app because I'm a simp and a sap, please enjoy)

“Soobin.” It’s his name. Not a nickname or something sweet and cute. It’s his name, the tone of Taeyeon’s voice is soft and serious, and Soobin’s attention turns to her without missing a beat. When Taeyeon sees that she has his attention, she continues. “Would you say that I’m a liar?”

Soobin’s head , expression lighting briefly with amusement. “Hardly. You’re not a liar, Sieun. And when you do lie, you’re not very good at it.”

A manic laugh threatens to burst from her, because if only he knew.

Soobin’s expression narrows, amusement fading. He’d seen that, and he must still see it, the way it feels like her entire body is vibrating, from the top of her head to the tips of her toes; it feels like the very atoms she’s composed of are vibrating in place.
She’s one of the best liars he’ll ever meet, and she knows it. After all, the best way to lie is to not lie at all.

Soobin reaches out a steadying hand. “Sieun.” It’s meant to be a comfort, but Taeyeon’s been thinking about this for too long. Sieun’s not her name, and a small part of her dies inside every time she expects to hear him say Taeyeon. Even now, all she wants is to be Seen by one of the people she loves most in this world.

 She’s going to ruin everything.

“Promise me,” Taeyeon says, voice low. She watches Soobin with a seriousness that is unlike her, expression set and heavy, lips pinched in a thin line weighed down by her guilt. “Promise me that even if you think it’s crazy -- that I’m crazy -- you’ll let me explain. You won’t say I’m lying or call me crazy, you won’t walk away. You’ll let me explain, all of it, everything. And then--” She falters then, lips trembling, swallowing hard against the rush of emotion that threatens to submerge her. “Then, if you still think I’m crazy, you can go, and you’ll never have to see me again.”

Soobin stares Taeyeon down, expression as serious as her own, thoughtful. Then, carefully, he withdraws from her, hands folding neatly across his lap. His attention remains rapt, however, the sort of intense focus that Taeyeon feels like an additional weight on her shoulders.

He doesn’t speak for a long moment, then: “I promise.”

Taeyeon nearly breaks then and there, turning for a moment to drag a hand across her eyes because this is not how she wanted to do this. She’d had a plan, she’d had so many plans, so many different ways to break it to him -- better ways, surely. But she’s got this horrible feeling that something’s going to happen, that their time here in this present is running out. And if what she’d read in the future -- in her true present -- have been real, then Fortuna had simply...disappeared. At the peak of their popularity, in the middle of conquering the world, they had all disappeared.
She thinks back to Brian and Yihyun and Alyssa, how fond they’d been of Fortuna and how they always seemed like they were waiting. She thinks back on how she’d always thought Yeojun had been missing someone, that maybe he’d opened up and somehow lost it all. She thinks about what that might mean for her as she returns to her own time, and the other other girls. She thinks about the people they’re going to have to leave behind -- their friends and loved ones, all the lives they’d touched since their arrival in this time.

Can she really do that to Soobin?

 Does she dare?

 “I’m from the future.”

Taeyeon turns to watch Soobin, shoulders sinking under the weight of the world. “My name is Shin Taeyeon, and I’m from the future.”

STATUS friends initially, something more eventually; but for their ending? as much as I would love to see it work out, I want to see a fitting ending. (if they have to go back, they go back. but if they stay... ;D)

TRIVIA
 — In Taeyeon’s phone, Soobin is saved as Soobie 🐰; in Soobin’s phone, Taeyeon is saved as Sieun 🐦
 — Soobin sometimes calls her Sae-eun (bird/sae + eun from Sieun)
 — I can't think of anything else right now (to be added)

“And then my soul saw you and it kind of went ‘Oh there you are. I've been looking for you.’”
is this the end?
COMMENTS
 — I  am so, so sorry that it took me so long to finish Taeyeon. Between crazy work hours/shifts, holidays, and then actually being sick with Covid, I lost inspiration to work on apps for so long that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to finish anything in time, much less finish Taeyeon for you. But I'm so relieved that you pushed back the soft deadline, and then I found my motivation again because I love the idea of this story! Time travel stories are always a fun concept, but this one really stole my heart with how you described everything. Even if I don't make it into the lineup, I can't wait to follow along and see how the girls all handle being yanked into the past. Also, since I couldn't really think of anywhere else to put it, I literally wrote 90% of Taeyeon to You Say Run and Turbulence.

There's a couple things I'll probably go through and edit over the next day or two. I wanted to add incorrect quotes and link the songs in her playlist/vibes, and maybe add more trivia, but my brain is on fumes and it's after midnight here. And I definitely have to get up to go to work in like 5 hours? whoops I should probably skedaddle.

SCENE SUGGESTIONS
 — I definitely want to see the girls being forced to come to terms with their intial "of course we want to go home!" only for some of them to realize "okay, but, I have reasons to stay now" and just that heartbreak of realizing that they can't have both.
 — I need those noice noice covers ;D
 — The girls playing detective and trying to figure out what happened and who/what yoinked them into the past.
 — Taeyeon (as Sieun) branching out into solo stuff, like Yuju's or Youha's discography. And she's given that opportunity to explore and express herself and that taste of another dream and it's putting to good use the time she spent with Jaewoong and Ethan, trying to learn production and stuff!
