Issue:

If you think you are healthy, would you go to a doctor and get medical check up done?

My answer:

In reality no one would go. Why would you spend a lot of money to go to one? Exactly! But do you think its still necessary to go do a medical check up. Of course! Is it necessary to go get everything done in one go? (As in take an expensive package that done a lot of test THAT you can AFFORD) 

YES GO FOR IT SISTURR!

Brother:

YOU ARE BEING EXPLOITED IF YOU TAKE THE PACKAGE! Go get a doctor consultation first and do only what is necessary.

Me:

Back to the issue above, would you go see a doctor if you think you are fine. No. So you went when you feel wrong. Okay rightt. Then Mr. Doctor will suggest this amount of tests get done. If they can find the answer, good for you. If they can't then you have to go get more tests done. So you will going to the doctor for the third time. First for the consultation, second for the test and third for further test. You will be good if they are right the second time. If not, good luck with going for more visits. So I stand with going for a full medical check up and even if it was unnecessary for you to do it at least you have narrow down the search. You never know what you have.

Side note: It is not that easy to find  a good doctor. Lets say its a variable. Even you find one, either it will take a long time or very expensive. Whatever suits you sister. This is not a good issue to raise. 

Brother:

Exactly you don't know what you have. Consult the doctor first. Why would you spend X amount of money on 18 tests that you don't need. Hospitals will leech out of you on things that you don't need by inciting fears with those findings. Just get a basic one done. You have to do this annually, if you are getting those 20 tests done today, later you still need to get the exact amount of tests done and only then that can be a marker for you. Oh yes, IF YOU CARRY THOSE REPORTS WITH YOU OR IF YOU GO TO THE SAME HOSPITAL WILL IT THEN BENEFIT YOU. I disagree with being manipulated by private hospitals.

My conclusion from this argument:

We have different preference, desires and priorities on our route for health check up end results. My brother called it efficient while I want it to be effective imediately. Just like how we argue about cars. Its cost efficient to own a motorcycle but it is more effective in transporting me to one place from the other. It became a huge argument when I say it is also cost efficient in both scenarios for me. I say taking tests in package and buying a car is cost efficient in the long run. Then we will raises ton of issue from all different perspective. HAHAHAHA 

We are definitely like a normal brother and sister during this rare occasion. We rarely argues by the way. We only conduct discussion. This is like a battle field. I disagree your honor and am willing to do anything to defend my arguments. Grrrr
