Hello! Yes I am not dead! *crickets* *nobody cares*

Anyway, I just wanted to let anyone know that I rarely come here. I mostly spend my time on Tumblr reading other author's stories and...I can't believe it but before I knew it I became a BTS stan *Crickets*.

I don't know how it happened. I just remember coming across a story from my feed on tumblr that was reblogged and it had BTS in it. The plot was good but I wasn't as interested in BTS. I was mostly looking for EXO fics but I decided to not be picky and read the story anyway. Then I just spiraled into more BTS fics and tada I am now watching BTS run and looking for writers who write BTS fics and rarely I read EXO fics. 

Then I come here and I see I write EXO fics and I feel dirty for cheating on EXO.

Anyway, that's what I've been doing outside of AFF but also I have been busy getting my stuff ready for graduation this May and then I'm going to apply for a bachelor's degree in nursing so I rarely have the time to write but also...after reading all those BTS fics, mine are just trash and tbh I either don't want to write anymore or I don't know what to write or how to write. It's been long since I've done it so if I ever promised new fics...I'm so sorry but I'm probably going to stop writing because my things don't come close to what I read on Tumblr (not like anyone read my things anyway).

ISU is a Joke

[GOE means grade of execution. keep it in mind for my following ranting]

If you're not a skating fan or don't watch competitive figure skating, you might not care or you don't know why I'm mad and about to rant but

*takes deep breath*

 

ISU IS A ING JOKE ESPECIALLY IN THE WOMEN'S COMPETITIVE FIGURE SKATING!

 

I don't even know where to start since it's a lot of history behind this (the Eteri tutberizde bonus mainly the problem).

Basically, because of COVID the figure skating championship was delayed until this year where all skaters from all countries will compete for the podium.

My problem, especially in the women's figure skating competition, is that ISU keeps rewarding bad jumping techniques but go hard on penalizing the other skaters. And who do they keep rewarding? RUSSIA!

Anna Shcherbakova to be exact!

Never gets called on her flat edges on a lutz and using full-blade assistance on toepick jumps. But to the other figure skaters, the judges sure as hell judge hard if their jumps are underrotated, edge violation, or toepick jumps/prerotation.

Like it's just so ing rigged why even hope for skaters with right techniues to win when the judges are going to reward Russian skaters especially if they're on team/coach Eteri tutberidze.

 

The second and third place skaters, Rika Kihira and Liza Tuktamysheva respectively earned their spot but Liza is seriously underscored in her grade of execution while Anna gets 2+ for bad jumping technique and especially on her quadruple jumps (long program/ free skate) which are heavily prerotated and use of full blade on toe-pick jumps.

I'm just so done! I was at least rooting for Alexandria Trusova (Russia) because she was with team Tutberidze but then changed to team plushenko and her edges and jump technique improved. Her quads are much better than Shcherbakova's in terms of edge and her improvement on toe jumps but NOPE, she will get low GOE scores compared to those on team tutberidze with bad techniques and they get 2+,3+ GOE.

This is just in their short program. In their long program I can bet you my college funds that her (Shcherbakova's) quads will get 2+,3+ GOE and slow motion will show her flat edge and full-blade assitance but they will turn a blind eye to it.

 

And I don't wanna hear in the comment that I'm salty cuz my fave didn't win or whatever. This is literally giving me flashback to the SOCHI scandal 2014 with queen KIM Yuna and that other girl.

 

I'll just leave you with these videos and you will see what I mean and if you don't realize the mistakes then...I'm sorry but you need to look at ISU textbook jumps. That or you just refuse to believe the facts. 

 

I'm just saying...ISU is going to end/ruin the fun of watching figure skating competitions because they literally are picking who to be on the podium.

They turn a blind eye to those with  bad techniques and put them on the podium (give them medals) and heavily critique other skaters who at least have the decency to use their toe-pick on toe-pick jumps.
