　▪　intsagram　some time in midn9te's career, misun will open up his own instagram account under the name @sunyee12AM. he wouldn't post often and when he does post, he wouldn't give long descriptions (usually either an emoji or a small sentence). he'd mostly post pictures of scenery, his ferret, or old photos from his time on produce for a trip down memory lane. once in a while, he'll post snippets of him working on songs late into the night (usually with just a time indicating of what time the video was).

father & mother

misun's father and mother. they were a loveable couple and lived life to fullest. everyone loved them for their easygoing and optimistic personalities. woohyuk was a case worker while byulyi was a simple housewife that wrote as a hobby and also worked partime as a singer at a nearby bar.

misun hasn't been entirely the same after their death. he misses his parents dearly, especially his mother (as he was definitely known as a momma's boy as a small child). he has keepsakes of them that he keeps on him at all times: a ring from his father and a pearl earring from his mother.

JUNG KANGHUI & JUNG (MIN) HAEUN

uncle & aunt

misun's uncle and aunt that took him in the second they found out about misun's situation.

kanghui is a freelance producer who hasn't really gotten a big break in creating a hit song, but his name is known (uses his full name). he and haeun have always wanted a child of their own, but they never had the time with haeun choreographing and him producing. so when haeun wanted to adopt misun after haeun's brother and sister-in-law passed away, he immediately agreed to adopt misun. when misun stopped his therapy, he introduced the boy to producing to help cope and he was so glad to see misun soak up all of his advice. he knows there's something up with rebirth, he just knows it. he's very protective of misun and pretty much considers misun as his own son.

haeun was the person who jumped into paperwork to adopt her nephew the moment she heard he was alone. she had promised her brother & sister-in-law the moment he was born that she would protect him if something ever happened to them. she was named misun's god mother for a reason after all. so it wasnt a surprise that she wanted to adopt misun and her husband agreed. haeun is a pretty well known choreographer under jyp. she dabbles in both female and male choreos, she's mainly known for choreographing a lot of miss a and 2pm dances (more currently choreographing for itzy). after noticing misun still having problems with bullying and his self-issues, she starts incorporating dance with and even puts in a referral to get misun into jyp as a trainee. she was extrememly proud for misun joining produce, knowing it was completely out of his comfort zone. she's very wary of areum and her company, because she can see that misun is starting to relapse all the recover he has done in the last few years...

JOO

emotional support animal

after misun had quit his therapy, haeun and kangho got him an emotional support animal to help him instead which ended up being one of the best things they've ever done. this little ferret of misun's is full of life and fits perfectly by his side. he's sweet, just like misun, though he does get up for mischief once in a while (he's a ferret after all).

most of the time he's quite content with sleeping next to misun, cuddled up and hiding in his human's hoodies. and he's the perfect size to hide in misun's large clothes, so when misun is hanging around the dorm, you know that little joo is hiding somewhere on misun's body.

joo is connected to misun on a spiritual level. to close friends, everyone knows joo is a sweet and lovable animal, but to those who ever raise a hand or hurt his human, he turns vicious within seconds. it also been seen that joo can feel misun's pain as he will squeak continuously whenever misun is self-harming.

fun note. joo's name was originally zoo, but despite misun's perfect english pronounciation, he cannot pronounce z's for the life of him. so, zoo became joo.

pre-debut trainee group

the short lived trainee group named wrldwide was an idea jyp had, getting inspiration to form a korean-chinese group similar to known boy group uniq. misun was going to be the center of the group due to him being korean and had lived in china, but the trainee group ultimately disbanded after jyp let misun go as a jyp trainee for his health. all the members of the group have gone their seperate ways, but they are all still close and message each other about their own growth and significant events. there's no bad blood between them, knowing very well that misun was in no way ready to debut at the time and they all felt like their group wouldn't be popular anyways.

　NAM WONHO　[ fc. 비에이피's 젤로 ]　wonho was certainly a charmer with his young appearance and leadership abilities. though this trainee group knew how much of a man child he truly is. despite being the tallest of the group, wonho knew how to make himself small so more people paid attention to his group members.

he was certainly a brother to misun and was worried about what their debut would be like on his young mind. he was kind of glad that jyp ended up disbanding their trainee group cause now he can pursue the kind of music he likes.

wonho is currently an indie artist under the name honoe.

　ZHEN FENG　[ fc. 세븐틴's 디에잇 ]　feng was a bit cold, known as at the stone. he was a quiet individual who barely spoke to anyone even when someone was talking to him. and it wasn't like he didn't know korean, cause he does, but he just wasn't a talker.

though feng instantly warmed up to misun, feeling the need to worry over the poor boy and make sure he was fed and warm (many trainees and instructors always walked in on feng bundling misun up in blankets all the time).

feng is currently a rising actor in china and still studying dance.

　ALEC LEE　[ fc. 위아이's 용하 ]　alec is an american born korean with great visuals that it would of been a shame if he wasn't given the visual position, but the others could tell how uncomfortable he was whenever someone praised his visuals since he wasn't used to such a thing back in america.

someone wouldn't believe that he was actually younger than misun since he acts so mature. he also tended to misun like a hyung that misun actually called him so when they first met.

after the trainee group disbanded, alec came to terms with his visuals and is now a rising model in korea.

　LIU SHAOLIN　[ fc. 엔시티's 런쥔 ]　shaolin was considered the snarky maknae of wrldwide as he always had something to say, even if it really wasn't needed. brutally honest, if someone told him he was doing something wrong you know he had something to say back.

but shaolin loved misun like an older brother. he looked up to the power of his vocals, always getting tips from the boy on how to control his voice and such while he taught a lil ballet to him as a trade.

shaolin went back into studying ballet back in china, hoping to become a ballet dancer in the future.

PRODUCE 101

friends & acquaintances

misun actually didn't expect to make friends on produce, he was actually expecting to be voting off quickly before he could make friends, but he was in for a surprise when almost all the contestants instantly loved him. it was definitely something misun wasn't expecting. throughout the show, he made more and more friends.

　▪　during the first episode, when misun walked out on the stage and went to go sit down, he sat down right next to lai guanlin. guanlin...was enamoured by misun and couldn't believe he sat down next to him. fans noted guanlin seemed to be a bit of a misun fan and watched how he always stumbled over his words when speaking with misun. throughout the show, you could see guanlin checking on misun to see how he was doing. outside the show, all the other contestants knew guanlin had an obvious crush on misun, but misun was totally oblivious to the male's advances and promptly friendzoned him on accident.

　▪　during the group battle, misun quickly became good friends with takada kenta, kim donghyun, and lim youngmin. misun was impressed with kenta's dance skills and kenta just loved to hug the small male. throughout the show, kenta always sought out misun to give him company.

　▪　during the position evaluations, misun earned himself two older brother figures in kang dongho and kim minki and a younger brother in lee daehwi. despite his age, they all knew misun had the ability to get him through and named him the leader of their group (which paid off since he was voted first in his group). there were plenty of times where baekho just simply picked misun up to remind him to eat and sleep a bit when he practiced too much. ren just loved to coddle him.

　▪　during the concept evaluations, he was grouped with minki once more, but made new friends in lee keonhee, bae jinyoung, and park jihoon. this was the start of another cute friendship, this time between misun and jinyoung. jinyoung became another guanlin, always wanting to get close to little misun, but also, at the same time, wanting to get away from him. it was rather known behind the scenes that jinyoung also had a crush on misun though misun friendzoned him as well.

　▪　at the final stages, misun made even more friends (who essentially ended up in the final lineup). one can say that he is a common friend among all of wanna one.

　LEE AREUM　misun...misun knows she's bad news. he knows, okay. but- but- she convinces hin every time. he can't help it. her lies sound so sweet to him and he falls for it. she has never harmed him physically, but psychologically? most likely. her words twist inside his head, making him spiral and he can't help it at all. he wants to stay away from her, but the moment she looks at him and crooks her finger...his feet are already moving. the group always try to keep him away, even going as far as to pull him back from walking to her, but they can only do so much...

　IM JINWOO　misun doesn't have any bad feelings towards jinwoo and since misun doesnt have much problems with his voice, jinwoo hardly ever calls him out on that end. so their relationship is fairly quiet.

　YOO SAEHWA　misun is scared of saehwa. he hates her teaching methods and is always crying during her lessons. he can't help it. her scathing words, her heels hitting his soft flesh and making him bruise easily. he hates it. but he doesn't do anything about it. he just tries harder to perfect what she wants. it especially hurts his head whenever she points out something wrong when he knows he did something right.

　KIM YEONJIN　nobody gets close to yeonjin except for misun. he likes his dancing style and loves his choreos. he's always ready to listen to him, so used to his aunt teaching him choreos all the time. misun finds yeonjin nice enough and he hasn't done anything to him to garner any type of fear and such.

　YOO SANGHO　sangho leaves bruises not just on his skin, but in his mind. well, the bruises definitely hurt...especially since he tends to kick and punch in the places he self harms all the time. words spill from his mouth, harsh insults that go straight to misun's fragile mind and breaks it down every time. misun can't help, but shake like a leaf every time sangho is near. it's become a habit that he can't break and he knows he needs to keep it under control before fans really go insane with rumors and theories...before sangho really kicks him in.

　▪　producing　misun will most definitely be continuing his producing after midn9te's debut. you literally cannot stop him from producing, it's one of his stress relievers (even though it doesn't help his insomnia at all).

misun's producing tends to be very mystical sounding and just very asethetically pleasing to the ears. sometimes it can be emotional, depending on what lyrics he had come up with. one thing is for certain is that you can definitely tell when it's misun producing even before you see sunyee written in the credits.
