》 Sung, Sungie - very common nicknames, used by the boys, his coworkers, friends, Eunjung, literally everyone. 

》 Old Man, Granpda, Grandpa Ho - the younger boys all think these are funny nicknames, and they're not totally wrong. Hosung is one of the older boys in the group (if not the oldest), and he does have some grandpa-like tendencies. but don't be fooled -- grandpa Ho can and will dance circles around each and every single one of the boys, and he probably does it on the regular too. the fans also use this, particularly when Hosung is doing his grandpa things.

》 Prince, ice prince - Hosung has a regal appearance, even more so when he's all dressed up for work or some event. he fits the suit and tie, rocks it, and when you add that to his often cool, stoic demeanor and his resting face....well, prince (and ice prince) is a rather fitting nickname for him. This is a fan-favorite nickname, but the boys like to use it sometimes when they're joking around.

》 The Equalizer - This is more of a title or a label than a nickname, one largely brought about by Hosung’s now ex-coworker Taylor and a number of fan interactions at the cafe and other interactions witnessed by fans at 1Million and other locations. As such, it’s used more in passing by people that know Hosung personally -- coworkers, choreographers, staff, the other groups, the boys. This label stems from Hosung’s determination to make things fair and equal the playing field for those around him. It’s not always in big ways, either. Sometimes it’s as small as Hosung taking steps during lessons to help struggling students in his lessons or in the lessons of his fellow instructors, or advice to people that are struggling. Sometimes it’s bigger things -- playing big and bad when coworkers come to him and tell him their significant other or ex is bothering them, or standing up for customers who are being harassed within the store. Harassing the other boys or Sungmin? Square up. He equals the playing field when he can. When he can’t, Hosung takes it personal and makes a point. (The boys later find out that this label is in reference to a 2014 movie by the same name, and it’s brought into life by Taylor when Hosung swoops in to play the fake boyfriend of a customer at the cafe where he works when an abusive ex comes knocking.
