With her tall figure, it  is definitely defining her body curve more and could easily style up any of the clothes that she wear. Apparently, she is included in the 'Idols with a tiny waist' category, it can't be denied, with a waist measuring only 24 inches she is for sure should be included in the category. The stylists usually would prefer her to wear something like crop tops to emphasize more of her tiny waist.

Haeun was born into a wealthy and well surrounding family. Her mother was a infamous model and she's currently active as a fashion designer with her own boutique. While her dad owns a few dance academy all around Korea and are planning to expands his business all over the world. On 25th of May, 1998, Haeun was brought into the world with her unidentical twin brother with a gap of 17 minutes, Seo Hawo. Which also made Haeun as the little sister. Hawon and Haeun are basically a bestfriend made from heaven. They basically share almost everything since they were in their mother's womb. They both even shared a same dream before, which was a model. Even though, her dad believes that Haeun somehow got the talent to dance from the way Haeun always shows her feelings through her body and how she always talk about something using her whole body. But he doesn't want to really push her and just let her choose her own dream.

Both Haeun and Hawon were sent to Dulwich College Seoul, an international school located in Seoul. Apparently, both of her parents are still the typical parents who believes that education is really important for their future which somehow could also be true. Haeun obtained her English name from school, when one of her teacher suggests Hanna as her English name and Haeun automatically liked it. During her primary school years, Haeun basically sticks around her twin brother a lot, she was getting used to depends on him a lot. Since then, Haeun and Hawon are still sharing the same dream which was a model. After school, they would stop by their dad's academy together just to visits their dad. It has been a routine for them and there, Haeun was exposed to the dancing world. But, it was not that which gained her interest to be an idol. After going back home, they will spend some times with their mom and their mom would give them some lessons to be a model from time to time. As a mom, of course she would just supports whatever her child want. So, Haeun was actually also exposed to the modelling world since she was a kid.

Haeun's dream to be an idol started to sparks up when she saw Boa's performance on the television. Boa's voices and dance moves was something that inspired her to be an idol. "I WANT TO BE JUST LIKE HER!" She suddenly shouted after she watched the performance, all of her family members were there witnessing her sudden change of heart. Since then, Haeun started to go to her dad's academy to follow a proper dance lesson since she thought that she was a bit too late. It was her very first time having to choose something different from her brother but she really wants it. Her mother hired a personal vocal couch to help her with her singing, since Haeun have never really tried to sing before and with the help of her vocal coach, she had improve from time to time. Haeun even started to enter the cheerleading squad on her 4th Grade with the suggestions from her Dance Coach. On 6th Grade, Haeun was the captain to her cheerleading squad and even won the cheerleading competition amongst the schools that year. With that winning, she becomes more inspired to be an idol and also a successful dancer.

Haeun and Hawon both decided to move to School of Performing Arts (SOPA) when they entered middle school, which was a school dedicated to those who wanted to pursue their dreams in the world of performing arts. Her middle school years was nothing much different since Hawon is still with her even though with a different dreams and different majoring.On 2011, Haeun wanted to try her luck and entered SM Weekly Audition with all of her practises and hardwork, she believes that she will be accepted and luck was on her side, Haeun was accepted as a trainee in SM on 2011. Since all of SM trainees, have to live in the dorm provided, it was hard for Haeun to live her family since she have been living with them and never really stay apart but she believes that sacrifices is needed for her to achieve her dream. Until then, she lives in the dorm with other trainees who shared the same dream.

Hawon was born 17 minutes earlier than Haeun and that made him as her older brother. Hawon's personality is like a contrary of Haeun which made them perfect as a duo and that is why that could understand each other a lot. Hawon once said that 'Whoever hurts you, hurts me and I will never let that happen.' As much as Hawon wanted to protect him, Haeun would do the same for him in a way that she could. During highschool there's this brat girl who like his brother and Haeun knew how bad that girl is. During the day, that girl was supposed to confesed to Hawon, Haeun sabotaged it not allowing the girl to confessed to him because she doesn't deserve him. They kinda shared the same heart since if one of them are hurt or sad the other would feel the same, so they never really hide their feelings with each other. They shared their problems and everything even until today.

Irene is someone who Haeun adores so much, she likes how responsible she is as RV's leader. Haeun kinda clicked right away with Irene because their similar personalities. Both are very quiet but also very affectionate at the same time. Their first meet was in the practise room and Haeun came up to her just wanted to tell her how pretty she is and also how good she looks when she dance. Since that, they become close and since Haeun doesn't really have an older sister, she treats Irene as her real older sister. At some times, when she's busy taking care of the others, Haeun would make sure that she's taking care of herself well too.

At first, Haeun thought that Seulgi would be a rival to her, since Seulgi was one of the best dancer during their trainee years. But after a while, Haeun realize that since all of them are sharing the same dream instead of rivalry why don't make it as a healthy competition. Then, Haeun tried to get along well with Seulgi because she believes that there's more from her to learn with her much more longer training periods. With Seulgi bright personality, they got close easily. Seulgi teach her about a lot of things and help Haeun improves in her dancing a lot. Yeri is much more like her partner in crime in SM and she's glad that she could at least have someone who she can joke around but also shares their problems. Haeun remembered after their debut, Yeri struggled a lot because she is getting backlash from knets saying that she is a cold person because of her 'resting b*tch face', Haeun was by her side all the time, trying to calm her down and tried to make her feel better.

After Soorin entered SM and become a trainee, she was a hot topic because she happened to be one of the jungsis. Haeun doesn't really have a hard time to get along with Shirley because of her easygoing character and since Shirley enters a bit later from Haeun, she would sometimes help her with her training. As they got along for a while, Haeun realizes that Shirley have some similar personality as her which makes sense that Haeun felt comfortable with her. They were both quiet impatient and shy at the same time. Since both of them loves candies so much, they would always sneak in some gummies and jellies into the dorm. Just like Yeri, Haeun treated Shirley as one of her younger sister. She would play around with Soorin, making sure that she also receives the attention she needs as a kid during their trainee years.

Haeun basically got along well with the others, of course there would be some misunderstanding or miscommunication but they would settle it as soon as they can with the help of Irene's leadership sense. They would usually talk about anything that they don't agree or things that they have a problems with so there won't be any future problems. Haeun's trainee life wasn't really much different than the others but she was just only a 13 years old girl when she entered SM. She was nowhere near to learn the meaning of true life at that age, but she is sure on one thing which is she wanted to be a successful idol, she wanted to show to her mom and dad that she could do it without her brother's around. During her first year as a trainee, she struggled a lot trying to make friends with everyone. She tried to challenge herself on trying greet everyone first, getting out of her comfort zone because she knew that first impression is everything and she knew that she will need to compete and train with them for however long it is.

On 2013, Haeun was introduced to be in the SM Rookies along with the other first line-up including Seulgi and Irene and many believe that Haeun will be debuted soon and the rumor turn out to be true, Haeun was supposedly to be debut with the original members of Red Velvet but due to some reasons such as too young to be debuted and lack of training, she couldn't debut at the same time. Haeun was sad when she heard about it but she accept it with an open heart since it is true that she was a bit too young to debut at that time, she's only 16 years old and there's still a lot for her to learn. Other than that, compared to Seulgi who was the original RV's main dancer with a long period of training, she is no where close to be on her level. Besides of his good looks, Jaehyun is well known with his good personality. He is famous with his well mannered and soft spoken attitude, those who're working around him would always compliment him on how he treated others wth his good personality. Besides, Jaehyun is also a very competitive and confident, which some times could annoyed s because he is very confident about himself. He goes around bragging about himself, knowing he is good. But, the members would always call him 'no jam' because of his lame jokes, only some would understand his jokes and that took a while to process. Jaehyun is also very matured compared to the others in his group, he tends to think twice before he does something and also have a very different opinions on something which make him as someone who people look for advice. Other than that, Jaehyun often get teased around because he is so bad at lying. His ear got red if he ever felt embarassed or shy, it might be good for others because they would know that he's lying but it might be bad for him because he couldn't hide it.

Their first meet was during their trainee years, both of them were in the same SM Rookies line up. They were nothing more than friends at first. They got close with each other after Haeun were assigned to be partner up with Jaehyun for an assessment. Their relationship develop so much during that period since they've to spend a lot of time together. Different from the others, Haeun finds Jaehyun a very funny person, she laughs at his lame jokes when nobody would. Surprisingly, Haeun actually do feel much more comfortable around Jaehyun, she felt that Jaehyun and her twin brother has a lot of similarity. When time got tough, Haeun some times find Jaehyun to share about her problems and her worrisome and the same goes to Jaehyun. They kinda rely on each other a lot even after the assessment ends. Around Haeun, Jaehyun is much more protective and much more gentle compare to the others. Since, Haeun doesn't really talk much with others, he make sure that Haeun talk a lot whenever she is with him. He just wanted to make her feels like somebody is actually there for her. Their friendship continues even after their debut.

After both of them debuts, they kinda shared some interaction during music shows, award shows, smtown, etc. and fans do noticed it. As usual, there would be some of them who supports their friendhip or so called ship, but there are those who are oppose of their relationship. The ship got big and RV's manager noticed about it on social media. So, Haeun were told to stop contacting him for a while and just focus on her career, even though Haeun tried to explain to her manager that they were nothing more than friends, but there's no use to that. Since, it is also to protect both groups reputation. Plus, they were just debuting at that time. So, as instructed Haeun stop contacting him and tried to avoid him as much as she can, she knew that she have to at least explain to him because he did nothing wrong but the manager just won't let her meet him at all.

Jaehyun was so confused about what happened, he had no idea about it. It goes on for a few months, they didn't meet or talk with each other at all. Until, one day Jaehyun tried to ask one of RV's member on why Haeun have been avoiding him all this time and he finally knows the reason she's acting like that. He knew that she just won't break their friendship easily. Jaehyun tried to beg for his manager to talk with Haeun's manager to let him meet her, it took him quiet a while until his manager agreed to help him. Luckily, Haeun's manager also agreed since it's been a while and he believe that the news had starts to fade away.

As planned, they meet at SM's rooftop. It was just an awkward meeting at first, until Jaehyun blurt out an "I LIKE YOU" out of nowhere. Both are shocks from what just happened, even Jaehyun himself didn't expect him to be confessing like that. Haeun just laugh at it as she thought that he would be joking. But then, Jaehyun explained that during her absence, he have been missing her, he felt empty for some reason and he explains that how she actually brings sparks in his days even just by seeing her from a far. Who knows that actually Haeun was having the same feeling as him, she felt sad and mad at the same time that she have to ignores him but there's just nothing that she could do about it and she was grateful that they could finally meet and talk about their feelings. Their conversation goes on for the rest of the night.

They started to date in secret from the members and the managers at first but after a while they knew that they can't keep it a secret from them for too long. Both decided to tell the managers and the members. They were against their relationship at first but agreed lastly, as long as the fans didn't find out about it. At least until the right time. During their relationship, they have been showing sign in public like couple items, sharing ideal types about each other in shows, sharing same songs reccomendation and stuffs.
