Fiona's past wasn't exactly perfect. back in ireland, her parents were simply best friends from the moment they saw each other. as time grew on, they soon fell for each other hard, but because of their own poor backgrounds, they used as much money as they could to throw a surprise wedding. their parents didn't like the idea at first, but soon enough they agreed if they stayed in school.

though, that plan wasn't followed through. a few months after their wedding, Fiona's mother was pregnant with her! with her mother breaking the plan, her mother's parents threw her mother out. at least her father's parents were more thoughtful about the whole ordeal. after her birth, her parents made sure to give Fiona the best they could with her father juggling work and school while her mother had to work also after she healed enough. she mostly was watched by her grandparents while her parents were at work, but her childhood was actually a bit bad. her grandparents liked to yell and that's what she witnessed everyday while her parents were gone. after her parents finding out about the fighting, they decided they needed a new start. a new start on their own, nobody to be dependent off of anyone.

so with as much money they saved (and a little help from her grandparents), they moved to south korea. to Fiona (age ten), it was a new experience. learning a new language was a bit hard for her, but she got through it as much as she could. because of their sudden move, the rest of her childhood was a bit poor. sometimes she had to wear the same clothes, or she couldn't take a shower because the water was cut off. though, she went through it and held her head up high. school wasn't a issue, except when money was ever involved. as she got older, kpop was in and everywhere. all the unique voices and dance moves mesmerized her. she knew what she wanted, she wanted to be like the people on the big screens. though, her dream was setback, her parents not being able to afford any kind of lessons for her. though, her parents always let her listen to the radio and soon found a talent in dancing, her body being extremely flexible and flowing to the music in all the right ways and soon enough, a real talent in singing. her parents helping her out to learn new tricks and get better. after her parents saved up enough money, they bought her a video camera and she started to film herself singing and dancing, posting the videos on the internet to see if anybody liked her skills.

Fiona had originally auditioned for jyp entertainment and they accepted her because of her extremely wonderful talents in dancing and singing. as a jyp trainee, Fiona found herself in the lineup for jyp's upcoming girl group. during her trainee days with jyp, she found herself training with ten other girls. soon enough, fiona was booted out of the lineup because of her lacking korean skills, but that didn't phase Fiona. she was still a big part of Twice. even though she wasn't a member, she transfered and became one of SM's trainees! She and the girls of Twice still keep in touch.
