kind, generous and helpful: keiko is a kind and pure person. she's always there for people she likes, and she'll always be ready to help them. if something needs to be done in the group, keiko will probably sacrifice herself to do it. she ends up doing a lot of the difficult and dirty jobs like unclogging the toilet in the dorm. she sometimes helps out too much, or offers too much. it's really dangerous to be a generous foreigner on her own in korea. she could easily be lured into losing everything. she's way too generous, often spending all her money just to treat everyone good food or buy presents on christmas. but at least she has crossfaith, the sjlk fam and skt t1 to watch out for her.

neat: keiko has always been a very neat person, compared to her sloppy brother. if she isn't cleaning her own room, she'll probably be cleaning someone else's stuff. she's not the real neat freak, she just prefers having everything nicely cleaned up and neatly arranged rather than messy. it's way easier to find her stuff in a neat room, and she prefers if the room smells and looks nice. It gives her a feeling of statisfaction.

hard-working: keiko is also the type of person that works hard for her dreams, and therefor dismisses her own feelings and sometimes even her health. when she realised that the kpop world is actually very cruel, it hit keiko really hard, but her dream of becoming idol didn't change, so she it up, acted like a strong lady and kicked . she is able to bottle up her emotions when it comes to achieving her dreams, but sometimes she will need someone to vent to, a way to let all her emotions out.

non-competitive: Keiko might work hard to get what she wants, this little one hates competition. She just wants to see everyone win, she puts others first, all that kind of stuff. She really doesn't want to be put against her friends, she'd let them win anyway. She'd rather see someone else win and be happy than herself.

absentminded: Keiko gets lost in her train of thought very easily. Give her just a teeny bit of time and she'll be drifting off into her fantasies. stubborn and naive: this is how keiko got into korea. if she has put her mind on something, nothing can stop her, and she'll want it. if someone disagrees, she'll shrug it off and ignore it or become mad. her brother warned her so much about the cruel kpop life, but she ignored him and went to korea after all. she's also very naive, and believes a lot of stuff that people say when she doesn't know anything about the subject. but when she thinks she knows the truth herself, she'll become stubborn again and refuse to agree. she's really a hard one to handle, and she would be better kept on a leash so she doesn't get lured away by someone who lied to her.

timid and shy: keiko is easily harmed. she might have crazy ideas and follow them no matter what, she is actually very timid. she loses her courage easily and she's pretty much afraid of everything. after she got scarred by the cruel life in korea as kpop trainee, and the reality her brother warned her for, keiko especially grew very timid. she's still trying to get used to living as idol in south korea, so she has become really vulnerable and quite shy as well. she'll probably get stronger over the time. at least she can put on the image of a strong person and bottle it all up, for now. she's also quite shy, and doesn't really have the courage to approach strangers to befriend them. that shows in her relationship with skt t1. she didn't befriend them until a really happy and sociable kid joined who reached out to her. and that really handsome fella too...

petty: oh no, don't ever get on her nerves. keiko might be a pure and sweet person, if you make her mad, her inner will come out. keiko is actually really petty and she'll have a grudge on you for the smallest things. if you don't return her money she lended to you, she'll take double the amount from you. it's sometimes funny how she is so pissed over the smallest things, and grumpy keiko is honestly just adorable. she might be naive and such, but once you deceive her and she finds out, you won't rest for a while, because she'll be coming for you with silent and sneaky jabs. when they fail though, she'll be a cute, embarassed mess.

background when keiko was born, she was lucky enough to be part of a wealthy family, and have a 9 year old half-brother by her side. after having the big brother, the parents divorced, and keiko would come from a short relationship with a korean man. she was an accident, but because of that, not less loved. soon enough, her mother would remarry the man that gave her tamano terufumi, and the old love would reblossom. her big brother was always very protective over her, and little keiko was a lucky child. ever since keiko was born, the family had gotten very lucky. her friends around her would always be lucky too, she was like a walking lucky charm. her parents were into all the rock and metal stuff, and both of the kids inherited it too. while growing up, terufumi got completely into metal. in 2006, he started a metal band with some friends, who would later become worldwide famous, crossfaith. keiko on the other hand, did like to listen to the metal music stuff from her family, but she was still so young. she went to see every concert her brother did, together with her parents, sitting on their neck so she would be safe from the sometimes harsh behavior of other metalfans. they were always really friendly, but mosh pits are just rough for such a small child.

everyone around her noticed that keiko was always softer than the rest of the family, and when her childhood bestie showed her kara and 2pm, keiko fell in love. she found her true music genre, yes, she loved metal, but she just preferred kpop. she grew up becoming a hardcore multifandom kpop expert, starting to dream about her own career in korea. she started to dance, learn heaps of kpop choreographies and also take some vocal and rap lessons. dance became her expertise, but so did her guitar skills, which she learned at school, and also learned some tricks from crossfaith's guitarist, kazuki. when she told her parents she wanted to go to korea, they called her crazy. when her half-brother heard about it, he was mad. he had to do anything to talk that dream out of keiko's head. whenever he was at home in osaka, he was constantly telling her to not do it, that the kpop world was cruel, being famous was a burden, especially in such a strict country like korea. but keiko was naive, and didn't listen. in 2017, when keiko was 18, she decided that it was time to go to korea to chase her dreams. even though her brother was extremely against it, and they fought several times. her parents decided to let her go, there was no stopping keiko, and she was the walking lucky charm, so she would be able to fight her way through, right? after getting her tattoos to help her remember her origins and give her strength, keiko took off to her new life, to korea, the country of her dreams and her idols...

but her brother was right. once in korea, keiko saw the harsh reality. she had to deal with racism, trouble with communication, and lots of weird stares and mockery because of her peculiar clothing style. she moved into a small studio, right in the middle of a bunch of entertainment agencies, and next to a big, noisy dorm. when she was moving in, the inhabitants of the dorm were just getting home, and the boys helped her move her stuff. little did she know that they were celebrities. they introduced themselves as sktelecom t1. keiko didn't know them. the boys were quite disappointed, and they explained they were a team of professional gamers. keiko didn't understand, because she didn't know what that meant. and she never really enjoyed gaming anyway. keiko didn't really know how to communicate, yes, they were very nice, but by coming to korea, the girl completely shut herself off. but she was determined to keep fighting and prove her big brother wrong, and after a week of adjusting and preparing, she auditioned for sm entertainment, a company near her apartment and with groups that she liked. and miraculously, she made it in at first try. maybe it's because she's so lucky?

poor keiko met with the harsh trainee life, okay, it wasn't like she got abused or anything, but it was still very hard for keiko to keep up and adjust because she's a foreigner. she bottled up all her emotions, trying to appear strong so that she could fight on. she kept fighting on and she ended up making it. she got lucky again, and she got chosen as one of the sjlk 2 members. after such a long time, keiko was still not fully used to living in korea, but she made it, at least. well, almost.

meanwhile, in the end of 2017, the line-up of skt t1, keiko's neighbours, changed. new faces appeared in the dorm, and one boy in particular caught keiko's attention. "hey, i'm thal, but you can call me kwonhyuk." these words paired with a voice deep as the bottom of the ocean, a playful smirk and the stance of an alpha male were enough to make keiko fall in love.

training Keiko joined SM in summer 2017. Because she had an apartment nearby, she did not move into the trainee dorms. She got put into the sjlk 2 program in June 2019.

When Keiko started training under SM, she wasn't only brand new to the trainee life, she was also brand new to Korea. She had a hard time communicating, she was lost like a puppy, people constantly had to take care of her and make sure she was doing well. It was not what Keiko had expected, and she had seen it coming, she was just too stubborn to believe her brother. But she wanted to prove that she could handle it, so even though it was really hard for her, Keiko kept working hard and doing her best. She hid her heavy emotions and burdens away from everyone, because she wanted to appear strong, since she is alone in Korea, trying to fit in and get used to the life there. One day, she will definitely explode, because her only way to let emotions out, SKT T1, is being taken away because she has to move into the dorm of SJLK, away from her neigbours who always took care of her. She originally joined as a dancer who could both sing and rap as well, and developed her dancing much much more and expanded it from kpop choreos to freestyling and just amazing dancing in general. She has a talent for rythm and dancing and usually gets choreos down really fast.

She appeared frequently as backup dancer for seniors from early 2018 on, even before she joined SJLK because she's such a good dancer.

PREDEBUT TEAM

Keiko got selected to audition for SJLK 2 after being a backup dancer for GJSN frequently. She was one of the company's best new gen dancers who can do many concepts, so the staff suggested to get her as backup dancer after a few months of her being under SM. Originally, Madame Kang didn't really pay attention to Keiko, but then Keiko showed off her freestyle during a shared practice with GJSN and their backup dancers, and it caught all of their attention. She was asked to audition not too long after, and she auditioned with Only you, which mainly showed off her dancing, and then freestyled again for the extra oomf that she needed to get into the program. Madame Kang was very pleased with her, but told Keiko that she needed to practice her vocals very hard to be able to stay, and so Keiko did. She also was noted to have heaps of fun while auditioning because she chose to perform a song by her favourite group uwu

Keiko was in Sweetz since the start. I mean, look at this little baby, she is full on sweetz and 0% sourz. Because of this, she got more than enough time to bond with the other sweetz members that have been there for a long time and didn't switch around. They're probably closer than the members that transferred from sourz. Keiko enjoys being part of sweetz, it's really her thing and she'll be very happy performing those songs. The iconic choreos from sweetz are often ideas of her and Hana. She and Hana are a pair, a team, the team that makes sweetz better.

She is nicknamed the sweetest of sweetz because of her softness and personality. She has a very soft face and cute expressions in contrast to her intense dancing. She might be one of the oldest of the sweetz, she's also one of the group's babies that needs to be taken care of. She has the role of fake maknae down to a T.

The hardest part of entering the SJLK program was moving into the dorm. She had to move away from her own little cozy apartment and especially her lovely neighbours that she did laundry and sometimes cooked for. They were her place to vent and let out her bottled up emotions. They were her happy place, where she could wind down after a harsh day of training. And that got snatched away from her, and she could only see them once in a week which felt just terrible for her. Without that venting place, Keiko will have a much harder time bottling up her emotions and keeping her calm during training. Whenever they get their time off, Keiko usually goes to the skt t1 dorm or office to give them snacks she made the night before. They all want her back and she wants them back smh.

There will be a bigger obstacle once Keiko gets to go solo. She was very excited to release solo stuff, until she realised what the company had arranged for her. Cutesy stuff that was really not Keiko's style. Okay, she likes cute stuff, but when it comes to music, she prefers hard hitting songs like the metal from Crossfaith, and the heavy hiphop from 24K. She wants to be like that. She wants to be intense and dance, but because of her cute face and cute image, SM ain't giving her that. It will be very frustrating for Keiko and that will also be mirrored on the people around her. She won't be vocal about it, but the others will know and feel it. It will be a hard time for Keiko, promoting songs that she doesn't want to promote.

In Keiko's training time, she frequently appeared as backup dancer, which fans noticed. Every single time GJSN had backup dancers for a release, Keiko was part of it. This made her close to GJSN members and become noticed by Madame Kang for the 2nd generation. I would've loved her to also be a rv backup dancer, but red velvet never seems to have actual backup dancers, rip. Why does SM not use backup dancers often... well, there was a girl group that needed backup dancers for a concert tour? a performance? an extra in a music video? Keiko was there. Always. She appeared in songs like Darling by GJSN, monster by Irene and Seulgi and solo projects of the SNSD members.

When she moved into the dorm, away from SKT, she will go through a hard time. The safety net for her emotions is gone, Thal is gone, Blossom is gone, Untara is gone. She longs for contact with the boys, so she'll complain, act snarky towards the other members just because they aren't her boys, try to find ways to communicate with them (she'd probably start writing letters mslkfjdkls). The boys, especially Thal, will try to get to her as well. They know they depend on each other. Keiko will feel empty at first, very empty, she doesn't really know the other sjlk bubs that much yet. Her closest friends from SM are her seniors from GJSN and Paradox (especially the Japan line). If they were there frequently it would be easier for her. It will take a while for Keiko to get better, but it is perfectly possible that Keiko will overflow or explode during the beginning of her time with SJLK. She needs to craft a new safety net with new people from SJLK 2, and for timid Keiko that will take at least a few months. She'll remain incredibly attached to the boys at all times, but after a while she'll have a second safety net in her new place to live. At first it will make her fall, feel worse, cause hard times for her. But she'll grow from it, get a bit more independent and able to express her emotions better, but she'll also grow attached to the motherly SJLK 2 members and depend on them (like Joseph and Hua, for example).

- Keiko has a very odd clothing style. It's a mix of girly, metal and pastel goth, even some harajuku fashion, which makes for a very odd wardrobe. She'll become an alternative fashion icon. She does keep her makeup and hair natural compared to her clothing, because of her idol image and because she prefers to keep that part more normal, it fits her better. The favourite part of her clothing style is the big platforms she gets to wear, it doesnt only look awesome, it also makes her appear taller. A win-win for this tiny one.

• half-brother : Tamano Terufumi (31) / member of Crossfaith / friendly, energetic, realistic, flirty, stubborn / Keiko's older brother is a very nice guy, despite his image of a rough, tattooed playboy. He might be flirty, very flirty, yes, but he's a caring big brother who always tries to keep Keiko on the right path and keep her away from the dangers of being famous, since he knows all about it very well. He is extremely proud of his little sister, but he would've preferred if she would've had a normal job in Japan. He can't be there often, but he used to call his baby sister every day, drunk or not, and whenever he has the time he'll come visit her in Korea. He's very mad at Madame Kang for taking away Keiko's phone. Let him call his baby sis. Oh Madame Kang, you better watch out, cause Crossfaith is coming and they are NOT afraid of you unlike others.

• Extra oni-chans : Crossfaith (32-30) / metal band / varies but while having a strong image, they are softies and sweethearts / Keiko already knew some of the boys before the band got formed, but she grew closer to them once they formed the band. They are Koie Kenta, Takemura Kazuki, Amano Tatsuya and Ikegawa Hiroki. Four amazing sweethearts who might be rough on the outside, but are absolute softies just like Terufumi, especially for Keiko. They have all known Keiko since she was a young child, and they have seen her grow into a beautiful young lady. They are extremely protective over her and support her no matter what. Keiko basically has five older brothers, and they are all watching over her like wolves. And they're ready to come at Madame Kang and anyone that harms their little baby.

• best friend : Murakami Yoshie (21) / Pastry chef / sweet, calm, desperate, perfectionist / Yoshie and Keiko have been besties for most of their life, ever since kindergarten in Osaka. They are a dream team, and while one is a metal girl, the other is the absolute girly bubblegum girl. Yoshie is the one that got Keiko into kpop, and basically started all of this. She is even more fanatic about kpop than Keiko, but she wanted to rather be a pastry chef. She is just starting, and she is actually planning to move to Korea and start a pastry shop close to Keiko's agency so they can be close (and Yoshie can meet her idols, of course). (fc: Kawamoto Saya)

• former fellow trainee and Thal's cousin : Min Chaeyeon / Minchi (18) / trainee (will debut in an imaginary group in 2020) / you know her well enough I guess lol / Yes, this is a crossover. Minchi was a member of SJLK's first generation who got the boot. A great friend of Keiko both because she's a very lovable girl that fits Keiko's vibes, and because she's Thal's baby cousin (who feels more like a sister to him). She sadly didn't get into GJSN which greatly disappointed Keiko. Minchi is now in Cube and will debut there in 2020. Keiko and Minchi often confide in each other on subjects they can't talk to anyone about. Minchi was very hurt by getting the boot from the SJLK program, so the one who replaced her is someone that Keiko-chan does not like...

Thal and Blossom. Thal is the same age as Keiko, and Blossom is just an adorable little child who is super bright and is able to befriend anyone. Thanks to Kwonhyuk and Beomchan (Thal and Blossom's real names), Keiko also grew closer to the rest of the team, and they often invite her over to eat some snacks, and just make sure she doesn't feel alone anymore. SKT has been a blessing, and when Keiko will have to move away from them, they'll all be really sad. Keiko has found great friends in these boys, even though she still doesn't understand about the game they play. They have been a great help for Keiko and have helped her gain more power, get a little bit more used to Korea and they also allow her to let out her emotions when needed, which is a great thing for Keiko and has helped her a lot throughout the months. They are also very protective over her, especially Thal, for certain reasons... She's also quite close to Untara now, who is quite... the funny little fella. After 2018 ended, a new player joined that was Keiko's age and that she got really close to as well, Teddy. • Madame Kang / Keiko is very intimidated by Madame Kang so she also listens to her and the other people, whenever she gets critiqued she'll work on it immediately, she doesn't even dare to act petty about it because she knows that they know more than she does. Keiko might be very intimidated by Madame Kang, but basically everyone around her that isnt part of SM couldn't give a about this lady. Crossfaith and Thal both aren't scared of her, and when they see her it won't be a good day. Seriously, they all want to give Madame Kang a good lecture despite her being older than them. But Keiko tries her best to talk them out of it to avoid being kicked from the sjlk program, but these 6 men are all extremely protective over Keiko, there's no stopping them. Madame Kang gangsta until Crossfaith and Thal walk in. Imagine 6 tattooed manly men coming at you for hurting their little baby.

Sieun: see mentor section
Ines: They're friends, but the quiet type. Ines was very hard to get close to, but she felt secure with Keiko because she was always so sweet to her and included Ines when other overlooked her. If it wasn't for Sieun, Keiko would've picked Ines as mentor.
Hwayoung: They don't always get along the best because of the contrasts in their personality, but they generally enjoy each other's presence. Keiko is often found silently giggling at Hwayoung's humor.
Jian: They're acquaintances, Keiko hasn't seen the soft side yet, so she's kinda wary of Jian, but she does believe that Jian is a good person.
Ai: Keiko and Ai are buds because they are quite similar. The only problem is the language barrier, but they do really like each other despite not always being able to express themselves towards each other.

Marelaine: Keiko doesnt understand how Marelaine is younger than her. She does like Marelaine and Marelaine absolutely loves this bub but Keiko cant help but feel a bit intimidated in her presence...
Sooah: These girlies arent that close because their personalities dont always match that well, but they still like each other a lot!!
Suna: Oh, Keiko doesn't like Suna at all. Keiko is petty, and doesn't forgive people easily for no reason. Suna took what Keiko believed was Minchi's spot, so she still doesn't like Suna. And she refuses to tell Suna why.
Youngmi: Youngmi is mom, so youngmi loves baby ko-chan. Keiko is adopted by any person that's some kind of a parent figure and Youngmi is no different. She babies Keiko a LOT. And Keiko can't deny that she loves it.
Jiyeong: It was a great relief to Keiko that Jiyeong was a good Japanese speaker. This made them bond during the time before Jiyeong joined SJLK. They are still great friends!
Yeram: they became friends quickly because Yeram has such a big heart, they're buds ;w;

pretty much everyone in paradox has loved and adopted Keiko, she's the paradox baby ;w; Of course Koji is first in line to play parent and baby Keiko.

Sam: We all know how weak Keiko is for manly muscle boys, and Sam is one of them, add to that that he's very friendly and familiar with female idols, we get a shy Keiko and extremely jealous Thal.
Koji: PRIMARY PARENT! He's the dad figure of the Japan line, so when Keiko joins the sjlk japan line Koji is way too excited. Finally, a tiny Japanese adorable baby to take care of and drown with love! Koji is probably Keiko's favourite of paradox because he's so loving towards her and he really helps her a lot when she's not feeling at her best. Probably the first paradox member Thal will eventually trust and not feel a rivalry towards because he's really like a big brother/dad to Keiko.
Zakuro: Sometimes, Keiko finds Zakuro a bit too wild, but he's a great kid, and part of the best line, the Japan line. Everyone from Japan line is Keiko's buddy, so Zakuro is also her buddy, of course. He often cheers her up when she's not feeling well and he often makes her laugh as well, and thats not the easiest thing to do.
Jaeseob: I expect Jaeseob to act around the SNS girls the way he acts around GJSN so... adorable babie, Keiko loves him, he loves Keiko. And they're the same age too!
Kijeong: Kijeong is one of the paradox parents, so he's one of keiko's parents too. He sometimes doesnt know how to handle Keiko's personality, but he tries very hard to take care of her, but he'll never be Koji or Sam.
Austin: being the social butterfly he is, Austin managed to win Keiko over quickly. It does help that he's also one of those strong manly types. He loves teasing Keiko and making her angy, poking fun at this little one whenever he can, he finds it adorable. That he is younger than her is really not noticeable.

Kihyuk: Sometimes Keiko will be angy at this beb, but overall she really likes him. But sometimes she'll have to tap his shoulder to say 'please stop, keiko-chan doesn't like that behavior'.
Natsuya: Japan line's fellow baby (yes, Keiko is older than both Zakuro and natsuya but she's babie okay?). Natsu is incredibly loved by keiko. He's a sweet babie, a little floof, Keiko's target of all her motherly love and the first one who gets to taste her cooking every single time.
Yunseok: big, broad, muscled, so one of Keiko's men. Thal really doesn't trust this man (of course) and will always shoot glares at him whenever they occasionally meet. He's generally friends with Keiko, but like... just normal friends. It's not like they're super close. They fight sometimes too because of their personalities but its usually fine.

Overall a lovely guy, Keiko approves.

Hua mothers Keiko and Keiko always tries her best to make Hua smile with cute quotes and just her cuteness in general ;w; babies

Liam: this guy is supposed to be a captain? Keiko-chan does not approve. He's aloof, he's unforgiving, well, its not that Keiko dislikes him, she just disapproves sometimes. And she acts petty towards him because of it, and then he gets pissed, and he doesn't forgive easily... It's hard, lol
Hana: These two are a match made in heaven, they are buddies, partners, they just fit together so well. Keiko finds Hana just so adorable. They bonded because of the dancing and stuff, and Hana's brother being a dance instructor in Japan. They're the dancing legends of Sweetz and they're here to slayyy.

 

first meeting The first time Keiko and Sieun met was when Keiko was a backup dancer for GJSN's debut song. Sieun spotted how good Keiko was at dancing during practice, and approached her to talk about it. Keiko with her crappy Korean couldn't respond well, but Sieun didn't mind, and ever since, Keiko kept returning as backup dancer, and Sieun would watch her during training. They connected easily, and grew close easily despite Keiko's Korean being quite bad.

relationship Oh they are buddies for sure! They love each other sooo much, they're friends, they're sisters, Sieun is Keiko's momma. Their soft personalities just fit together, you know? They're an adorable pair. They're way more than just mentor and trainee, they really love each other and depend on each other. Sieun is Keiko's closest friend from GJSN and maybe even from all of SM entertainment. They're always there for each other. Keiko also loves Jisoo, but its clear that Sieun is the favourite sibling of her. Keiko always goes to Sieun for advice, especially about Thal. Sieun can also find comfort and a place of advice in Keiko, even though she might not always be able to really express the advice. They're buddies who give and take and they have a very happy and healthy friendship that will last very long, maybe for life. Sieun is one of Keiko's many parents, and she and Koji are her favourites ;w;

 

personality kwonhyuk, this man, is trying so hard that it becomes funny. he feels like an alpha male, so he tries to look like one too. he spends lots of his free time in the gym, sometimes dragging beomchan or keiko along. he is really into muscle training and he does want to get really buff. it's going quite well, and especially his chest is standing out. well, maybe because he always perks it out like a rooster as well. keiko always laughs at the way kwonhyuk sits, legs wide open, big energy, flexing his muscles, showing off his dominance. too bad his cute face is in the way, even though it's plastered with a playful and teasing smirk most of the time. kwonhyuk is a cool guy, calm, chill and never feeling the need to say much. he is quite the friendly guy though, he just keeps it cool at all times. well, not all times. whenever kwonhyuk is chatting with keiko, inner kwonhyuk goes crazy! he's always worried that he'll end up looking like boo boo the fool, but for now he has always been able to contain himself and remain the cool and handsome alpha male he wants to be. especially towards keiko, his lady and only his, even though nothing has happened yet.

thal sometimes remains too cool. missing chances or doing weird stuff because he is too relaxed and nonchalant. it really makes him look like a sometimes, but he has always managed to slip through the net when it comes to keiko, but not when it comes to his career. he's often called a bad or inconvenient player because of skt's losing streak, and that makes kwonhyuk quite mad. he's a fiery, hot-headed man, even though he stays pretty calm while he's mad, he just gets pissed off really easily. it's not the first time that he has become mad at beomchan for being too loud and cheerful. he's also quite the messy guy, he doesn't care and leaves his room dirty. keiko often complains about it before cleaning his room. she sometimes even does the laundry for skt, when most of the clothes come from kwonhyuk cause he just leaves them. even his dirty underwear, which always makes him run around in panic and embarassment if he finds out. he's also extremely protective and possessive over keiko, even though they are just friends for now. he sometimes gets way too protective and possessive, and it is hilarious to the teammates. This boy is so possessive over Keiko that he even considers Marelaine a rival out of all people. Together with literally all of Paradox and Maelstrom. Kwonhyuk, you're too worried, mate. kwonhyuk is quite the funny figure, even if he tries so hard to be the cool, muscled alpha male. He's just unintentionally funny, and adorable. #RipThal

blossom/beomchan absolutely loves to bully kwonhyuk with it all, which makes it even better. they are basically polar opposites, yet are both the closest to keiko. here's an example of their opposite antics.

love story kwonhyuk met keiko when he moved into the skt dorm around late 2017. he saw her for the first time when she came to take a look as the boys were moving in. first, beomchan immediately jumped over the boxes and suitcases towards the curious neighbour, introducing himself in his usual cheerful and loud way. keiko was taken by surprise, and kwonhyuk couldn't help but chuckle at this cute girl. then he introduced himself. his heart was beating out of his chest, because even though he tried to be cool, cute girls always made him go crazy. "hey, i'm thal, but you can call me kwonhyuk." alpha male pose, playful smirk, showing off his muscles. keiko's smile was shy and gentle, and kwonhyuk swore he could see a blush on her lovely cheeks. nailed it.

she digged him from the start. kwonhyuk considered it a mission success, but what originated from shameless playboy flirting, slowly transformed into kwonhyuk trying his best to not mess up, because he was freaking out so much, seeing keiko. while keiko was in love with him from his first words with his low and charismatic voice, kwonhyuk's feelings grew through his flirting, and the transformation from the cool playboy to the kid who has to overthink every single word, breaking into cold sweat because of the same girl, was hilarious to follow. kwonhyuk changed from alpha male to comical mess, thanks to keiko. and keiko? she absolutely loves the change, but she somehow still thinks he's just playing with her heart, and kwonhyuk somehow also became unsure if keiko really loved him, even though he was sure she digged him at first meeting. they're both just so ing stupid to not notice their feelings for each other. god dammit, guys.

for now, keiko and kwonhyuk are just good friends. keiko is quite the shy one when it comes to love, and still can't fully express herself because of her lack of korean skills. also, keiko has never had a boyfriend before, because if someone liked her, they would be scared away by big brother terufumi. kwonhyuk knows that there is a big brother waiting to meet him and to glare him down, but kwonhyuk wouldn't be kwonhyuk if he was afraid of teru. no, kwonhyuk is ready to take on that skinny dude and show off that he is the alpha male who will get keiko in the end. kwonhyuk and keiko are often just casually talking, kwonhyuk helping keiko with her korean skills and knowledge of the culture. keiko is also like kwonhyuk's personal cleaning lady, since kwonhyuk is very messy, and keiko is really neat. they take care of each other and complete each other. keiko just loves spending time with kwonhyuk, because it makes her feel at ease, and he never fails to make her laugh by trying to be so cool but messing up. after seeing keiko, kwonhyuk often needs some time alone in his room to scream, run around and just freak out over how cute his shy lady is. kwonhyuk is also extremely possessive over keiko, and also overly protective, and he is like a knight protecting his lovely princess. whenever any dude that is not skt or crossfaith comes close to keiko, kwonhyuk will freak out. especially the guys from maelstrom and paradox. alpha male at his best, yeah right. meanwhile there's beomchan, who's just constantly bullying the two. the whole team knows about kwonhyuk and keiko being head over heels with each other, but only beomchan is always talking about it and teasing them with it, while the other teammates just grin in the back. they're currently oblivious towards each other, and are kind of getting nowhere, but once keiko will move into the dorm of sjlk, both will feel empty without the other living next to them. especially kwonhyuk will be a mess. literally. they'll be longing for each other more, and the relationship will finally advance to something better, because they realise they have to make a move, to the hilarity of manchild beomchan.

triva / etc 

- their shipname is thako, beomchan came up with it, and is extremely proud of it because it sounds like taco, if that wasn't obvious
- kwonhyuk wants to get a tattoo just because keiko likes them, he wants to impress her, but he'll realise that he just enjoyed tattoos himself too (and actually, Thal got tattoos in 2020, he got a feather on his outer right forearm, and some kind of lion on his inner right forearm I think, it's never really visible)
- kwonhyuk has given up on teaching keiko about league of legends, she is just too clueless to understand it
- he does teach her korean at least once a week though (except if sjlk program gets in the way)
- whenever they can text, they text, even when they aren't allowed to. whenever keiko or thal have a break, they are plastered to their cellphone with a bright smile on their face (yes, thal does in fact smile). it annoys the teachers and coaches a lot
- when keiko's not feeling well, kwonhyuk will come over every day to take care of her
- the male sjlk members? they're scared of kwonhyuk cause he's so possessive over keiko and always glaring at them
- kwonhyuk yet has to meet terufumi, but he isn't afraid at all. when they will meet, they will have a face-off. kwonhyuk is the first boy that likes keiko who isn't afraid of terufumi.
- also isn't afraid of Sam, or Madame Kang, he isn't afraid of anyone
- keiko used korean pronouns for kwonhyuk at first, but he wanted to be called kun, so keiko now calls him hyuk-kun
- sometimes she calls him hyuk-sama, and it really flusters him, which is hilarious
- kwonhyuk is (estimatedly) 180 cm, so that makes for a 25cm height difference
- they are often referred to as beauty and the beast by the rest of sjlk 2, but then keiko gets mad because she thinks kwonhyuk is super handsome (and he is, i agree)
- keiko has kwonhyuk saved as ( ´ ∀ `)ノ～ ♡ while kwonhyuk has keiko saved as princess in his phone
- before it gets revealed that they know each other, kwonhyuk will be known as keiko fanboy
- kwonhyuk lives for keiko's cooking, also for her laundry cause even though he hates it when she washes his underwear (it's embarassing), she always uses her own perfume to make them smell nice, so kwonhyuk always smells keiko when he wears freshly washed clothes
- beomchan and kwonhyuk are known as polar opposites, but also a common ship, i mean, look at them. 1 2
- the only dude kwonhyuk doesn't get jealous of is beomchan because he knows that keiko and beomchan are just really good friends and that beomchan is too good of a kid to steal keiko away
- both keiko and kwonhyuk use beomchan as person to spazz to, talk about concerns to and vent to when it comes to each other, so beomchan knows everything, he basically has the power of the whole world, he's the biggest ruler of the universe, but he's just there, teasing them and laughing.

Keiko is half korean but basically has no touch with her korean part of her, so I hope that that's fine for the foreigner girl. But if thats not good I can always make her full japanese easily! It won't make much of a difference.

Also how tf can you write such detailed trainee life things? Literally the only thing I can come up with is 'yeah they worked hard and ' and then I call it a day slfgjkdsl

SOLO IDEAS / TEAM STUFF ETC.  At first, Keiko will have to do solo stuff that is given to her by the company, which fits her image, but not her personal style. When and where this stuff happens (and in what order) is up to you to fit best into the story. She does like the city pop era, but she definitely prefers when she gets more influence and can do heavier stuff in the end:
