Personality:
Eun Jae is really simple girl. Doesn’t require much attention, takes care of herself, often depends on her own and doesn’t mind being a loner. She can be quite arrogant and rude sometimes, especially if someone pisses her off. She often tries to avoid that side of her and blocks it the best through practicing rapping and releases all her extra energy through dancing. However, she cares about people who she’s close with and will often put them in front of her, no matter how strict and rude she may be. When she cares about someone she will do anything for them. Can be quite loud and often wins fights but if she loses one she will admit the defeat. Whenever someone has a problem she never hesitates to help them because she hates seeing people hurt and sad. She puts a lot of effort in her actions and never gives up. She’s a big optimist even but when she has to she faces the reality. 

Background:
Eun Jae was born in Brisbane, Australia from Korean parents along with her younger twin brother Chi Hoon. Her family was practically ‘one happy family’; they had everything, from money to one another. But there was one thing that disturbed that perfection of theirs. You see, Eun Jae’s mother was deaf while her father was mute. Because of that Eun Jae and her brother had to learn sign language to communicate with their parents. However, they didn’t mind it. Eun Jae and Chi Hoon were both loved by their family and were really intelligent and talented in their own ways. While Chi Hoon was a gorgeous young man, perfect for a model, Eun Jae was very talented in dancing and fast talking and debating with others which later resulted with discovery of rap.

It was all ‘wine and roses’, more or less, until that one day when everything went downhill. When Eun Jae and Chi Hoon were about 10 years old, their father died because of the lung cancer. On his death-bed, both children promised their father to make the best out of themselves and their talents. However, after their father’s death, their mother got into a deep depression and completely forgot about having two little kids she had to take care of. Her family and friends started to abandon her seeing that it was pointless trying to bring her back from depression since she didn’t want to move on. However, the mother had one friend who offered her to come with him to America and leave the past behind. Eun Jae’s mother reluctantly accepted since she had no one anymore, only that one friend. However, Eun Jae’s brother didn’t want to leave Australia and since his mother didn’t really care anymore, she left him with one of her cousins in Australia and moved herself and Eun Jae to America despite Eun Jae’s cries not to.

They ended up moving to San Francisco and Eun Jae and her mother lived with her mother’s friend who soon became Eun Jae’s stepfather. Her life in America has been pretty miserable since she didn’t have any friends, her mother was always working and she barely had any contact with her brother until she completely stopped talking to him when her mother forbid her to ever contact him again. However, despite her miserable life, she was still able to do what she always loved, dancing and rapping, which one day brought new light to her life. While dancing in one of the practice rooms in her school, Eun Jae didn’t realize she was being watched by no other than Kevin Woo. When she realized, she was frightened that he will harm her but instead he complimented her and soon both of them became best friends.

How you were discovered:
Eun Jae has always been very good at dancing and she has learnt how to rap and play guitar on her own. She has also written few songs of hers during her life in America. 

Eun Jae was discovered during one of her dance practices in the random dance studio in San Francisco. One of the YG trainees, today known as Taeyang, who was on a vacation back then, introduced her to YG Entertainment program which was looking for new talents. He recommended her to audition and he offered her to personally tutor her. Eun Jae decided to accept the offer since she saw a good opportunity to make the best out of her talent. At that time, Eun Jae was 15 years old. In her audition, Eun Jae rapped to one of the popular rap songs at that time and to one of hers that she wrote especially for the audition. She also danced freestyle to a random hip hop song.

According to the judges, Eun Jae was skillful and talented enough to pass and so she became a part of YG Family. She moved to Korea, and trained hard for the next 3 years. She put a lot of effort into her trainings and improved a lot since she started.

When Eun Jae met Super Junior’s EunHyuk, she found it stunning but at the same time funny how her father and him share the same ‘ugly’ name.
