​Fashion Style: ​Even though he can’t afford the latest trends, Leeteuk likes to dress into nice, fashionable clothes. He doesn’t wear anything flashy but likes to be unique. Leeteuk likes to point out his slim yet fit features, by wearing skinny jeans or V-neck shirts with trendy prints. Accessories aren’t really his thing as he considers them unnecessary. He does wear few bracelets or wristbands which are of great meaning to him and that he has gotten used to wearing. Leeteuk likes to stay rather comfortable in his shoes and is usually seen wearing Converse shoes or some other type of shoe that ‘hugs’ his foot comfortably. Interesting thing about Leeteuk is that even in the midst of winter, he doesn’t wear a jacket. He would wear a sweater (a really thin one) or a long-sleeved shirt but will never EVER be seen with a jacket or a coat.

〈 It’s All About You 〉

Personality: Leeteuk is a type of a person you would describe as arrogant and self-centred when you first meet him. He’s rarely the person to make the first move when meeting someone new but when someone else approaches him, he’s usually rather cold but straight-forward, stating his opinion right away. If he doesn’t like someone for a certain reason, he says it to their face right away. However, if he likes someone, or his attention has been drawn to them, he will make sure that they know it. Leeteuk, in fact, is a rather cold and quiet person with a charismatic vibe coming off him. He’s rarely seen smiling, even with his friends. Even if he has some sort of a smile on his face, it is usually a smirk or a grin, but he rarely ever smiles sincerely. Leeteuk likes to be careful of who he makes friends with or gets attached to. He likes to observe people, taking in their behaviour and actions to know how to act towards them. However, the way he does this makes him look as if he is hating on the person he’s observing.
People often brag about him and his life. Teasing and picking on him for his passion for figure skating and for being a student at V.I.P. section of the school when he’s actually from a not so rich family. Leeteuk never pays attention to nasty comments he receives from people around him. In fact, he just grins to himself and keeps walking as if he didn’t even hear the comment. He always finds a way to stay calm, even in the most stressful and depressing situations. Just as he’s rarely seen smiling, he is also rarely seen fuming or crying. There aren’t many people who has seen Leeteuk’s emotional side and Leeteuk prefers to keep it that way.

Background: Bang Leeteuk was born in Incheon as the youngest out of four children. He grew up in a relatively poor family, his parents would always work and his elder sister would look after her younger siblings. He was only 10 when his father passed away from a gunshot wound (since he worked as a police officer) and since then his mother and sister worked to support the family, later even his brothers.
Leeteuk always seemed to have passion for snow and ice skating. He was discovered by a figure skating coach Ryu Jong Hyun (who is known for discovering a gold medallist Kim Yuna) at the age of 9 when Leeteuk was ice skating with his brothers at the local skating rink. His family couldn’t afford his trainings but the coach trained him for free since he didn’t want such a talent as Leeteuk’s to go wasted. Leeteuk has been training figure skating since then and has been competing in national and world championships in figure skating for years in a rather high ranking. He had an opportunity to attend Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver in 2010 but he injured his knee two weeks before qualifications. He still continued his training after his knee was healed.
Despite himself being from a rather poor family, Leeteuk goes to a V.I.P. Section of Songchul High School. When he was applying for Songchul High School, Leeteuk was sponsored by his coach Jong Hyun who is rather wealthy. Leeteuk considers himself in a great debt to his coach who has given him so much.

Raina | Dated before in their junior school for few months. Raina was extremly clingy of Leeteuk and wanted to date only because she saw a potential star in him. When he injured his knee and had to give up his position at the Olypmics , she ditched him.
Lee Ho | A senior Leeteuk sought comfort from after Raina ditched him. They dated for the few remaining weeks of the school year but when the school finished, Lee Ho had to move to USA for University studies and feeling betrayed, Leeteuk broke it off, never contacting Lee Ho again.
