EUNI　derived from the second part of her name 'eun'. she added 'i' to make it sound cuter. she originally wanted a chinese stage name to match her brother, but sm thought euni would be better.

APPEARANCE

jaeun is very much a petite little girl. she's pretty short and just small all around (it must run in the family). her hands are tiny, but her smile is huge. her eyes are quite big as well, just the right size to match her big smile. she has kept her long for as long as she can remember and it was originally black, but it has lightened up naturally to different browns.

she has simple ear piercings in each lobe and has no tattoos.

* she'll probably grow a cm or two, but jaeun is pretty much destined to stay tiny.

school girl chic. most of her outfits consist of nice blouses and pleated skirts. her tiny height usually makes her outfits look ten times cuter as well. she loves cute accessories too like knee highs, broaches, and ribbons...tons and tons of ribbons.

when you first meet jaeun, you will notice how much of a bundle of sunshine she is. she's always thinking about the good things in life and know that things will always get better. truly selfless, that is what jaeun is. all she wants most in life is others' happiness and nothing in return. because everyone's happiness is her happiness. and that sometimes sounds pretty fake, but it's true. yes, she may be selfish in the way she wants to perform, but if she had to sacrifice her dream to help someone close to her, she probably would in the end. because that's jaeun, caring for others. she's very easy to get along with and loves to talk with people (sometimes she loves talking too much). jaeun may talk a lot, but she's actually quick to notice things. talking comes naturally for her, helps her focus so she can notice things fairly quickly.

with that said, jaeun is definitely one of the most cheerful out of the whole group of trainees. her bright smiles and her endless conversations, she's always in high-spirits, though she does tend to not know when to 'turn-off' her high-spirits. and going along with her high-spirits and endless energy, jaeun is also very outspoken. she's not afraid to tell the truth or speak about something no other person would speak about.

jaeun still acts like a child. she will whine when she doesn't get her way, probably laughs and cries too much. maybe it was the way her siblings spoiled her as she grew up, but she just hasn't grew up from her childish phase that much. she is easily persuaded, very much so. she has been since she was little. she will easily believe almost everyone, even when she's being pranked. she doesn't really believe that everyone is bad and gives everyone a chance, which happens to be her downfall sometimes. not only is she a complete butterfingers, jaeun is also clumsy when it comes to words. when emotional, words easily spill from whether she wants to or not. and she's, of course, impatient. she does not like to be kept waiting at all. she will have a childish fit when she has to wait too long for things.

BACKGROUND

jaeun was born into a loving family with two big brothers, whom she loved whole-heartedly and they loved her back just as much. she is the youngest of the family so she was quite the spoiled princess when it came to attention and love from her brothers.

she very much liked to watch her brothers and copy them. she'd watch jaedeok strum his guitar which made her little hands make air gestures like he did. whenever jongdae hummed, she hummed after him.

so as the brothers did good in school, so did she. she became extremely close with jongdae despite their five year age difference. he was always home after school to give his precious little sister the attention she wanted.

so when jongdae began to sing more often, jaeun wanted to be singing too. they often sang together while they did their homework and would laugh afterwards.

it was essentially jaeun who encouraged jongdae to join the singing contest despite him having no vocal teachings. her brother was simply the best and she knew he would win.

despite not winning first place like she thought he would, jongdae actually got scouted by sm entertainment who were in love with his voice. and after a year later, he debuted in exo.

jaeun knew exactly what she wanted to do. she was going to follow her brother. but she was a bit too young as she was only fourteen at the time. jongdae told her to do good in school and then maybe their parents would let her audition for sm.

so she waited four more years until she was eighteen, just like jongdae was when he was scouted. she begged their parents and they eventually allowed her to audition.

around late 2015, jaeun auditioned for sm. whether it was because of her vocals, dancing, visuals, or brother, she was accepted rather easily.

jaeun didn't really care, she was just glad that she was accepted and now she could possibly sing with her brother again. though she was quick to notice that sure they were in the same company, but exo was so famous already. so they didn't get to sing together like she originally wanted, but still! she was in the same company as her brother!

soon enough though, word about her relation to jongdae was spread through the gossip ring and the eventually jabs began. jabs like 'you only got in because of your brother' were all that she heard, but jaeun didn't let those petty words get to her. she had better things to think about...like honing her skills and hoping to debut like her brother!

the instructors quite liked jaeun's energetic enthsiasm for learning. she had pretty good vocals and her body was very limber when it came to learning dance. she was a quick favorite and it really wasn't because of her 'connections'.

jaeun likes to think it was because of her unique voice and improving dance moves that got her into the program, not the whispering insults that it was her brother that got her into the program.

"He got her into the company, so it's obvious he got her into the program as well..."

it was only because she was rushed into the project, taking over some other girl's spot after she hurt herself. jaeun filled it perfectly with her voice and dancing. and jaeun didn't let it get to her, at least she tried, but no one could really tell when she smiles 24/7 anyways.

RELATIONSHIPS

►　kim jaedeok aka big bro #1　jaedeok is the first born of the family and he has a lot to uphold. he fairly quiet and keeps to himself most of the time, quite different from his younger siblings. he's pretty smart and is currently still in med school.

due to their rather big , jaeun and jaedeok are a bit distant and aren't as close knit as jongdae and her. though despite jongdae being her main inspiration to be an idol, it was truly jaedeok that started it all with him playing the guitar when they were younger, watching them play sing together.

he's kinda like a dad when it comes to jongdae and jaeun, especially jaeun and can be rather stern with her when she's being too much. though jaeun will listen to her older brother, she loves and respects him enough to listen to him.

►　kim jongdae aka big bro #2　jongdae is the best big brother and no one can tell jaeun otherwise. their bond is very tight knit and nothing really can break it. they even use 'goblin language' to communicate with each other, knowing most won't understand what they are saying. whenever they are together, they are always found singing or humming and jaeun is always teasing her big brother. jongdae teases her back, but they both don't mean anything they say.

he was actually worried when jaeun announced that she wanted to audition for sm because she's his little sister after all and his parents let her to audition for sm anyways. he really doesn't like the fact that she's under sm and he worries that she won't be able to flourish under them with her unique vocals, but...

he's the one that ends up revealing that she's his little sister. he couldn't help it. after the smtown performances, he tried to keep quiet, but once gjsn debuts, he couldn't keep quiet any longer. 

►　exo aka the biggest idiots ever　due to jongdae being in exo, jaeun has met the members of exo a few times. she's really happy that jongdae got to debut with them and treat him like family.

►　suho　essentially a giant dad. he treats jaeun like little sister as well. he's extremely nice and jaeun even laughs at all of his bad jokes.

►　xiumin　the member that jongdae is closest with, of course jaeun knows him. like suho, minseok treats lil jaeun like a little sister. minseok reminds jaeun of her other brother jaedeok as he almost acts like a dad and protector.

►　lay　jaeun actually doesn't know yixing all that well. jongdae talks about him alot, but she hasn't actually met him except for that one concert where she got to shake his hand. she hopes to actually get to talk to him someday.

►　chanbaek　two peas in a pod, jaeun enjoys them both. they are loud, louder than jongdae, but they always made jaeun included whenever she was with them.

►　d.o　kyungsoo is quiet which is opposite of jaeun. she was drawn to him because she wants to make him laugh and smile more. and guess what? he's always smiling whenever jaeun's around.

►　kai　sleepy bear, that's what jaeun called him when she first met him. he was half away sleep when they met and almost fell on her as fell asleep. jongin was simply horrified about the story, but jaeun laughs it off because she thought it was adorable! jaeun actually has his number, but their conversations are mostly jaeun sending jongin adorable dog related stuff.

►　sehun　sehun...is like jaeun tbvh. though sehun is a bit snarkier which jaeun isn't. he's the bad boy your mama warns you about, but jaeun knows it's just a front that he plays. he's truly a cinnamon roll who still sleeps with a stuffed animal. he's trying to convert her to the 'evil' side with him, but jongdae makes sure to pull her away.

"Oh! That's like a super easy question!" Jaeun is grinning ear to ear. "My older brother obviously! I dream to perform on the same stage one day!"

"Again, this is like super obvious!" Jaeun throws up one finger. "My one most favoritest senior has to be EXO! They are absolutely the best because my brother is a part of it after all!"
