☾ KOREAN (native tongue) - taehee was born and raised in korea so her korean is fluent. one thing that stands out is that taehee is a master of different regional dialects from living in 2 different regions and watching a lot of tv where the gyeonggi (seoul) dialect is prevelant. she's picked up the chungcheong and jeollado dialects in university from the friends she made though these two dialects are still a bit lacking.
☾ ENGLISH (advanced) - taehee studied english intensively during high school so that she could one day study abroad during university. this meant she watched a lot of american tv shows and films. she took the english language course in university as well, and helps out with the exchange program in her university welcoming exchange students. through her efforts, taehee was able to study abroad in canada for a year, and took a summer internship in america where she was able to pick up slang/more commonly used casual language. all in all she grabbed whatever opportunity she could in order to improve her english.

lived in the outskirts of town so fam could travel to somewhere more remote to train/let out their magic in a less worry-free place. here is where she would receive her basic magic training. fam is closely watched cuz parents are registered witches. discovered she had magic before the law but wasn't registered becuz sentiments towards witches were already negative and parents dont trust the gov't. grew up seemingly "normal" but was a bit scorned because ppl knew her parents were witches.
err moved away from jeju-do to "start over" in a sense with her rmother since everybody in her town all know each other, rumors come around so fast. started hs in busan, and tried to fit in and seem as normal as she could as in she had no magic.
basically lots of her trouble came in living in a town where everybody knew each other and knew that her parents were witches. the fam was trreated as outcasts. scrutinized closely.

taehee has been working for bewitched cafe for 7-8 years. when she first moved to busan with her mother, her mother found this cafe through the witch friends she knew back in high school who moved to busan. her mother would take her here weekly where taehee would study on a seperate table with her order, and her mom would catch up with her old high school friends. taehee slowly became acquanited with the staff and youngmi at bewitched cafe. when she turned 17, she received permission from her high school to work part-time at bewitched cafe. (living in a city made it hard for her to practice magic) blah blah blah took one year off to study abroad/internship blah blah came back and started managing social media + help with the menu design blah blah now she's still here

as one of the oldest, if not the oldest, employees with a 7 yaer work history at bewitched, it's no wonder taehee is one of the most advanced/experienced witches there. back that history up with her previous training with her parents at a remote area where she could practice without much worry when she was younger, taeheee is a magical powerhouse in her own right. she has learned to control her magic at a very young age by her parents who feared reprecussions from their town / the gov't. her range is pretty large from being able to practice large-scale spells on "family outings." Her technique for the spell she knows is pretty good as she likes to be prepared for any situation and practice when life allows it. Her magic speciality (due to her magic type) are elemental spells in the order of best knowledge/technique: water, air, earth, and fire. However, her knowledge of other spells is not as fleshed out as it should be at her age as she became busy with university, and prioritized battle/escape-ready spells and any spells related to working at bewitched. if she lived in a society where magic was not banned, her knowledge would've been much larger as she could probably practice different spells more casually. taehee would be the one to stay behind at the cafe to fight off witch hunters to make sure the less experienced witches & youngmi escape first if a "raid" ever happens
