HEIGHT & WEIGHT : 175 cm and 71 kg (Depending on how long he survives he will eventually grow to be 182 cm and 84 kg when he´s an adult)

APPEARANCE : 

— Gabe can be described as "attractive" much like the other students at Beauxbatons. However he´s also still young and as such still getting used to his changing body. He´s fairly tall especially for a french guy and even more so at his age. He´s gotten extremely lucky in the gene-pool lottery, however it appears that most of the students at Beauxbatons has. You´d almost think it was a requirement to become a student there... His eyes are a beautiful mixture of green and brown. Not quite hazel but also not quite green and while he is light in skintone, he isn´t pale. He´s not quite skinny, but also not quite bulky (yet - although he is going to gain muscle (and a lot of it) and become quite bulky as an adult - think Derek Hale aka Tyler Hoechlin bulky (because Ian plays young Derek so I just see him being all like... Broad and muscular and )). He does have some muscle and is fairly built, mainly from quidditch where he played beater back at beauxbatons (he never got a chance to play at Hogwarts as he spent his time improving his english and otherwise keeping up with schoolwork instead of playing - until his 5th year at hogwarts that is)

STYLE :

— Genereally he wears his uniform and robes properly with his dress shirt tucked into his pants and his tie done up properly. However he will often leave his knit v-neck jumper behind unless it´s too cold for just his dress shirt and normal robes and too hot for his winter robes. This is primarely the case whenever he spends time in the dungeon for example for his potions classes. He will also often leave his robes unfastened, however he does make sure to fasten his winter robes when he wears those. Genereally however Gabe has yet to get used to the coldes temperature of Britain growing up in France with generally higher temperatures and as such he starts wearing his winter robes earlier than the rest of the pupils.
When he isn´t required to wear his robes Gabe generally just leaves his robes and tie behind and wears the dress shirt and pants from his uniform unless he´s at quidditch practice where he wears his quidditch uniform. He does however still have some of his light blue silk button downs and blazers from his days at beauxbatons and while he no longer fits in the ones he had at the time his mother has since sewn him both a few button downs and blazers in the signature light blue beauxbatons color as he still really likes these and will often wear these in his free time just to remind people that he was once a beauxbaton student and that he is a descendant of the founder of said school. Yeah he certainly does feed into his "snob" nickname with this. But also he just really likes the pretty light blue color. (I don´t think we´ve ever gotten info on what the males at beauxbatons wear as their uniform so I´m assuming they wear something akin to the girls but with pants instead of the dress)

PERSONALITY : Gabriel is an ESTP. He loves to be the center of attention He likes to talk about what is – or better yet, to just go out and do it and he leaps before he looks, fixing his mistakes as he goes, rather than sitting idle, preparing contingencies and escape clauses. He lives in the moment and dives into the action – he IS the eye of the storm. He enjoys drama, passion, and pleasure, not for emotional thrills, but because it’s so stimulating to his logical mind. He´s forced to make critical decisions based on factual, immediate reality in a process of rapid-fire rational stimulus response. However this makes school and other highly organized environments a challenge for him. It ´s not that he isn´t smart, but the regimented, lecturing approach of formal education is just so far from the hands-on learning that he enjoys. It takes a great deal of maturity from him to see this process as a necessary means to an end, something that creates more exciting opportunities and this is something he tries very hard to do. Also challenging is that to Gabe, it makes more sense to use his own moral compass than someone else’s. Rules were made to be broken. This is a sentiment few teachers at Hogwarts share, and has earned Gabe a certain reputation. However he is in the process of learning to minimize the trouble-making, harness his energy, and focus through the boring stuff and once he suceeds he will be a force to be reckoned with.
He has a unique skill in noticing small changes. Whether a shift in facial expression, a new clothing style, or a broken habit, Gabe picks up on hidden thoughts and motives where most other people would be lucky to pick up anything specific at all. He uses these observations immediately, calling out the change and asking questions, often with little regard for sensitivity. He would benefit tremendously from remembering that not everyone wants their secrets and decisions broadcast.
However Gabe tends to get too caught up in the moment, take things too far, and run roughshod over more sensitive people, and forgets to take care of his own health and safety. He is full of passion and energy, complemented by a rational, if sometimes distracted, mind. Inspiring, convincing and colorful, he is a natural group leader, pulling everyone along the path less traveled, bringing life and excitement everywhere he goes.
Generally he is full of life and energy. There is no greater joy for Gabe than pushing boundaries and discovering and using new things and ideas. He likes provoking and loves to see the response it gets out of people. He also doesn´t take from anyone and will call you out if you say something he doesn´t agree with. He prefers to communicate clearly and likes direct and factual questions and answers. Facts and reality are more important to him than feelings or emotions, which means he can come across as kind of an at times. He finds emotional situations awkward and uncomfortable and his direct way of being doesn´t help. He has a lot of trouble acknowledging and expressing his own emotions. Most people would call him emotionally constipated, which is absolutely true.
Gabe is also very rational and practical. He loves knowledge and philosophy, but not for his own sake. What is fun for him is actually finding ideas that are actionable and then drilling into the details so he can put them to use. If a discussion is completely arbitrary, there are so many better uses for Gabe´s time. This also means that he hates small talk and avoids it as much as humanly possible. It bores him to death.
Combining his boldness and practicality Gabe loves experimenting with new ideas and new solutions. He puts things together in ways nobody else would think to do and comes up with creative and original solutions to problems. He´s very much a doer and an action-oriented problem solver. He is very much in his element when there is a crisis requiring urgent action, as he will think of a way to solve the crisis very quickly in a way that nobody else would be able to. And this is helped by his perceptiveness. He notices when things change, but also when they need to change. This combined with him being bold and direct, means he isn´t afraid to speak up and say something when he feels that something needs to change.Small changes in habits and appearances stick out to Gabe and he uses these observations to help create a connection to others.
Overall Gabe is a sociable creature. He´s an outspoken extrovert to the max, and a natural born leader, although this isn´t something her actively seeks. He´s just good at making excellent use of social interactions and networking opportunities and is very good at convincing others about what he believes.
However much like all other people he has his bad sides. He is extremely self-assured. Despite his young age, he knows who he is, what he wants, and what he believes in. He believes that his opinions are the right ones and seeks to educate people on what he believes is right. Now in and of itself this is a fairly good trait. However because of his insensitive nature Gabe often expresses himself in ways that make him seem very much like an .
He also moves at his own pace to keep himself excited and slowing down because someone else “doesn’t get it” or having to stay focused on a single detail for too long is extremely challenging for him. This impatience of his sometimes causes him to push into uncharted territory without thinking of the long-term consequences and he sometimes intentionally combats boredom with extra risk. He´s the guy who asks the others who will join him for a trip down to the forbidden forest whenever he gets bored. This impatient-ness also causes Gabe to be very demanding. As he doesn´t slow down, this means he demands a lot of the people around him. He isn´t good at slowing down and has a tendency to keep pushing on in his own tempo instead of slowing down and helping those that need help.
He´s unstructured. He sees an opportunity – to fix a problem, to advance, to have fun – and seizes the moment, often ignoring rules and social expectations in the process. This may get things done, but it can also create unexpected social fallout.
As mentioned Gabe thinks rules are made to be broken. He won’t be boxed in. Repetition, hardline rules, sitting quietly while getting lectured isn’t how Gabe lives his life. He is action-oriented and hands-on. If you try to push him into a box or set rules for him, all he will do is get upset and break those rules in the biggest and most dramatic way he can. Gabe also tends to act too quickly, without thinking things through, and focusing too much on the current task at the expense of longer term or interpersonal issues. If he is caught up in an immediate crisis, he doesn´t take account of the sensitivities of others. He also has a tendency to turn to a new problem before the last one has been fully completed.
Living in the moment causes Gabe to sometimes miss the forest for the trees. He loves to solve problems here and now, perhaps too much. All parts of a project can be perfect, but the project will still fail if those parts do not fit together.

BACKGROUND : Gabriel was born to the pureblooded family of French wizards and witches known for founding the prestigious French wizarding school of Beauxbatons. He was born on the 22nd of November 1981 in Saint-Savin in the high Pyrenees in France. His father worked for the french ministry of magic under the Bureau of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. He would take the floo network to Paris every single day for work. His mother worked as a potioneer and teacher of potions at Beauxbatons.

His childhood was spent much like most children from wealthier wizarding families. He was home schooled however because both of his parents had jobs he was taught by tutors who would teach him what he needed to know. They also worked as his nannies almost. And unsurprisingly for anyone he started showing signs of magical abilities at the young age of just 5. He did however possess a very mild control over this magic however not so much that he could use it completely intentionally. He did however have enough control to avoid any accidental wandless magic after his first few outbursts. His parents however were strict especially when it came to etiquette and being proper. And Gabe struggled immensely with this even as a child. He had a hard time sitting still during dinners and this often led him to getting lectured, sometimes by his father is he was home otherwise by one of his tutors.
During Gabe´s childhood his father worked a lot and they didn´t see him home much. And with his mother working at Beauxbatons she wasn´t home much either. This meant that Gabe was left in the care of his tutors a lot and he spent his childhood very alone as he was also an only child. The family did have a white Scottish fold that Gabe absolutely adored and would spend almost all of his time with. On the 25th of November 1991 he received his long awaited acceptance letter to Beauxbatons with news that he would be starting on the 4th of September 1992. Here he shot his silver arrow which would spark green for him indicating that he had been sorted into Bellefeuille. He spent 3 years at Beauxbatons, but halfway through his 3rd year he was informed by his parents that they would be moving to London during his summer break. His father had been chosen as the French delegate for the International Confederation of Wizards and so the family would go on and move to London. He had about 6 months to become familiar enough with English to live in London. This meant that Gabe was transferred to Hogwarts and he started here on the 1st of September 1995 (Jesus Christ I hope my math is correct, but if it isn´t let me know. I´m horribly with math as I´ve mentioned in our PMs.) In the third year at Hogwarts (class of 2000? The class that started Hogwarts in 1993 - again horrible with math). He was sorted into Gryffindor after a short deliberation by the hat - which Gabe thought was a very strange way of sorting - about him fitting decently well into Slytherin as well.

Gabe struggled at Hogwarts as first mainly due to his limited English. And he spent his first two years working hard on improving his English and keeping up with schoolwork. However Gabe had a burning want. Back at Beauxbatons he had played beater for his quidditch team. But due to him focusing on getting better at English and trying to keep up with schoolwork during his first two years at Hogwarts he never got a chance to join the Gryffindor team. However he knew that if he got the chance he would definitely go to the tryouts during the 1997-98 year. He had English down quite well by now, though still with a heavy French accent, and this made his schoolwork easier as he had an easier time expressing himself both in class as well as in his assignments. However Gabe had also always had a knack for potions and this along with care of magical creatures were the only subjects he kept excelling at after transferring to Hogwarts. While he had been quite good back at Beauxbatons, his lack of English skills made it hard for him at Hogwarts at first especially academically. However now that his English is almost fluent he has started improving drastically in all subjects, however he is very much hoping for an "outstanding" in his O.W.L´s in both potions and care of magical creatures.

— While at Beauxbatons he took: Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Divination, Etiquette, Flying (during his first year), Herbology, History of Magic, Potions and Transfiguration
— During his third year at Beauxbatons (also his last year there) he had to choose a so called école (literally translates to school, but I assume it´s sort of like an elective - it´s actually a canon thing according to the page on Beauxbatons on the Wizarding Elite Wiki on fandom.com), and one of the programs in the école to concentrate in. He chose humanities concentrating in composition of music (although he was mad he had nothing like quidditch to pick)
— Had he stayed at Beauxbatons until graduation it´s very likely he would have become part of the very prestiguos Beauxbatons alumni organization the Charlemagne Club as he is after all a descendant of the founder of the very school.
— His parents and himself are the only known surviving descendants of the Beauxbatons founder
— He´s known at Hogwarts as "the French guy" "the snob" and "the Beauxbatons guy"

FAMILY : 

— Parents : Alexandra and Laurent Beaux / 38 and 41 / strict, loving, distant
Throughout his childhood Gabe´s parents were quite distant. He was practically raised by his tutors and this has lead him to be quite distant with them. When they´re together they don´t talk much. However this doesn´t mean that his parents don´t love him. They do, but they were both a little too preoccupied with their jobs to really raise him. However they tried extremely hard to teach him etiquette and despite going about it the completely wrong way, Gabe is generally quite well mannered. At least when he tries to be. His parents have always been quite strict with him especially when it comes to etiquette and being proper and they expect Gabe to follow their teachings to the letter despite him at times failing. However they only have these expectations of him because they believe them to be right and they have really tried their best. Gabe is just his own person and has perhaps had a bit of a tight leash growing up which has caused him to lash out and become quite rebellious.

— "I´m not quite sure... Probably? I mean I definitely want to do SOMETHING because what´s going on is not at all okay. I know as much as that I´d want to do something, but what I´m not quite sure of."

Are you worried about possibly being one of the casualties of war? : 

— "Worried is not the word I would use. What happens happens. But if I can get through this without dying then that would be preferred. I wouldn´t say I´m prepared to die... But at the same time. Isn´t dying for what you believe in the best way to go?

Do you think you could kill someone for any reason? : 

— "Most likely not. I´d much prefer to find another way around the problem than having to resort to killing. But at the same time desperate times call for desperate measures. If I had no other way out then maybe."
