She can wear slacks but then she´ll usually wear mens dress shoes instead of sneakers, but you´re not getting her in a dress, skirt or heels. All in all hyunhee is kind of a mess. sHe has a lot of projects that she has never finished and she´s so clumsy that she´s a danger to herself and the people around her. sHe might physically be a 29 year old woman, but really she´s more like a 15 year old boy. Everything around her is always a mess. sHe leaves clothes strewn on the floor and forgets to clean it, she can´t cook… sHe has no control over her own limbs and breaks more things than what is humanly possible. One day she will definitely end up in the hospital because she hurt herself in some weird way. sHe´s scared of literally everything except heights and screams and whines and pouts when she gets scared. Do not let this kid watch a horror movie. sHe will cry from how scared she is. In fact she often cries when she gets scared.

background Im hyunhee was born on the 12th of March 1990 in Anseong City, Gyeonggi province of South Korea to Im Chaewon and Im Seojun. At the time of her birth, hyunhee was an only child, but that changed when she was just 11 months because at this point her little sister Im Jieun was born. hyunhee grew up with music. Her mother played both the piano and acoustic guitar and her father both drums and bass. This lead hyunhee to grow up very interested in music and at 6 she started both piano and violin lessons. sHe loved both and continued these lessons. At 10 she also took up drumming lessons, having started learning from her father back when she was 8.
Throughout middle and high school hyunhee was always the odd one. sHe was a very hyper and energetic kid which meant she was often a little much for the other kids to handle. Luckily she always had her sister right next to her and they spent most of their time together when they were younger. In middle school they spent most of their time in the music room, playing the different instruments. Her sister had taken up guitar after their mother as well as playing the flute so they had a lot of fun. In 2005 at the age of 15 hyunhee graduated from Anseong middle school and during her summer break, hyunhee watched a lot of movies. And she was entranced and fascinated by the way sound was used in some of these movies and how different sounds or the lack of any sound could completely change the atmosphere of a certain scene. So when hyunhee enrolled in Anseong high school after her break, she immediately chose audio production as one of her electives. Here she met a lot of young people who had the same interest in audio and film as her and she was no longer as much of an outsider. Of course she maintained a close relationship with her sister and would often drag her to stay in the rooms they used when they had their audio production classes. Here she would spend her breaks with the other students who had chosen audio production and her sister and hyunhee learnt a lot through these classes. sHe knew that audio production was what she wanted to do, and researched liberally what jobs you could get in the field of audio work. Here she discovered sound design/sound editing and immediately hyunhee knew this was what he wanted to do. However hyunhee also wanted to use her skills at music to something and halfway through high school she started playing around with music production as well as sound design. sHe graduated from Anseong high school in 2008 at the age of 18 and immediately enrolled in Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts (DIMA), majoring in audio production. 3 years after, in 2011 Hyunhee was graduated and ready to start her life as a sound designer. However this proved to be a very hard business to break through in. Luckily hyunhee had some practiced with sound design as well as music production by playing around while she was in high school and from her schooling at DIMA, where they took classes on sound editing, audio design and trained in studio recording and the like. This made it a little easier for hyunhee, but as she worked freelance it still wasn´t easy. In fact she lived in the tiest apartment and ate basically nothing but convenient store ramen for almost a year, taking whatever small ty sound design and music production jobs she could get. and this continued for years. however 2016 turned out to be an amazing year for hyunhee. she had worked as a dj for smaller clubs for years taking whatever little jobs she could get however in 2016 she had a chance to really make a name for herself as she was hired as the house dj for the very well known club Octagon in gangnam. and this proved to be a golden oppourtunity for hyunhee. because after a few months of making a name for herself at octagon she was contacted by a music video director by the name of Christian Yu. He was the founder of independent music and video group DPR, and they needed help with some audio work for a project they were working on. This turned out to be hyunhee´s way into the music scene, as the project turned out to be the music video for the song Borders by kpop idol Amber. Christian and the rest of the crew at DPR were impressed with hyunhee and whenever they needed help with sound design or editing they would come to her. sHe also helped compose and produce some of the songs for their new solo artist DPR Live who debuted in March. Before this hyunhee had dabbled a bit in music production and composing and immediately after Christian had hired her, hyunhee was contacted by AOMG who wanted her help in composing and producing some songs. since then she´s been their go to whenever they needed help. in early 2018 her and christian went public with their relationship (that had started in mid 2017) after a reporter saw the two of them together on one of Hyunhee´s off days. however their relationship doesn´t get much attention as they´re not necessarily huge celebrities. The two moved in together in early 2018 as well and live in an apartment in seoul.
And then Hyunhee heard about something she found quite interesting. A korean version of the show the real. she had watched the american version of the show mostly to get better at english however somewhere along the line it had caught her attention and while hyunhee wasn´t exactly thrilled at the thought of being in front of the camera she figuerd she would give it a shot. it was a possibility for new experiences and perhaps her being a little different from so many other female public figures in korea would make other people feel better about being different.

Non shooting days (NOT WEEKENDS!):
Hyunhee lives a chaotic life because she works as a freelance sound designer by day and as the house DJ of Octagon by night. This means that Hyunhee can never be sure when she´ll be hired for sound design jobs and whens he gets hired she works crazy hours, often working on sound design for most of the day and then going to Octagon by night and staying there until closing, often coming home in the wee hours of the morning and getting two to three hours of sleep before getting up and doing the whole thing over again. In fact she usually ends up falling asleep while working. When she has work hyunhee has no time to do anything but work which means she barely gets any sleep, doesn´t work out and barely has time to eat. Her meals usually consist of delivery/fast food as she absolutely can´t cook and even if she could, she wouldn´t have time. Despite this hectic life that her two jobs forces her to live, hyunhee wouldn´t trade it for anything. sHe loves them. When Hyunhee doesn´t have work (which doesn´t happen much anymore. sHe basically works all the time), she lives a pretty quiet life, spending most of her time playing around with… you guessed it. Sound design as well as music production and composing/arranging songs for the club. sHe also plays both the piano, the violin and the drums whenever she can find the time. This kid lives and breathes audio, sound and music. Literally it´s both her hobby and her job. on these days she also tries to make time to work out. she´ll also spend time with christian.
Shooting days:
her shooting days are spent quite differently than her non-shooting days. ususally she will wake up on mondays completely exhausted from a weekend spent on sound design and dj´ing and she usually hasn´t gotten much more than 3 hours of sleep. as octagon is open until 6, hyunhee often leaves work early on sundays so that she has time to get some sleep before having to be up and ready at 7. she will wake up, shower, dress and then eat a small breakfast usually just something like a granola bar or the like and then she´s off to start her day in makeup and styling. after shooting she will take an hour or so to work out a little and then she´ll go straight into doing her sound design work if she has any. Or she will go spend time with christian. her fridays however are spent different as she will go home after shooting, say hi to christian before taking a shower, changing and then talking and spending time with christian before heading out to spend her night at octagon (opens at 11 pm).
Weekends and national holidays:
Her weekends and national holidays are spent with christian. it´s their agreement that they both spend their weekends and national holidays together as they don´t see eachother much during the weekdays. except for the nights as hyunhee has work at octagon during weekends and national holidays. however she also takes at least one weekend a month off from ocatgon that she spends with christian. the two often spend their weekends talking and... catching up on various physical... acts (yes i´m talking about here)

I´d like their relationship to blossom further and perhaps for the pair to get engaged at some point during the first season of the real. perhaps if the show keeps going for more seasons the pair could get married however that´s maybe 2 years in the future for both of them. i also see kids somewhere in their future as i see christian as the family type who wants kids. however i also see him as the type who wants to be married before having kids so perhaps a few months after getting married this is something that could happen? idek if the show will continue that far into the future, but i guess if it does then yeah... I´d like to see them get married and have children and hyunhee quitting her dj job when they get married.
