My Grievances with Hunus Part 4: Xeno-T's future...

It's been a while hasn't it? Last time was in December. Well, there truly isn't much to say on Xeno-T. Actually, ealier this year, Xero enlisted into his mandatory military service, and Hunus let TopKlass know that the group would be going on an 'indefinite hiatus' for a while. Then in April, B-Joo was also said that he was about to enlist as well. He left in the beginning on April. And then, at the end of April, Hojoon announced that he will be next.

So if you're keeping count, 3/5 members are about to be gone for a year and the other boys are likely to follow soon as well. This means this extrmely nugu group who's company already doesn't give a damn about them are about to be out of sight, out of mind for over a year and not making any money for the comany (they already made barely anything before considering Hunus DOES NOTHING WITH THEM). So of course my question is, what's going to happen when they get back?

Will Hunus even care about them anymore? Heck, they've never cared about their careers even when they are younger. Some fans will probably still wait for them, but I imagine most will drop them if they haven't already. It's just the facts; it's hard to keep up with inactive groups. XT was already inactive before, but at least there was the chance, no matter how miniscule, that a comeback could happen. Now, Hunus has confirmed that they have NO plans to do ANYTHING with XT as long as this military service is happening. Fans don't want to sit around 'stanning' a group that does nothing when there are so many other more active groups they could follow. I'd be surprised if even the longest lasting Top Klass will still be around when all of the boys are back. After all the suffering they already went through, I feel like this would be the breaking point. It was for me. I can't speak for others, but I just can't deal with Hunus anymore. I'm not saying everyone, or even anyone, will leave just becuase I made the choice to step back. All I'm saying is that I've seen how it is when even super popular groups start getting older and less active. Xeno-T is in a far worse position so I do not expect good reslts.

Honestly, I feel it's highly likely that Xeno-T will disband by the end of these enlistments if not in the middle of them. Think about it. Hunus currently only has Elris as a group to make them money and they're inactive af too. Unless a miracle happens and they start bringing in a ton of money soon (whether through Elris or a new group hitting it big; not that I could understand them debuing a new group but still), Hunus is just going to be sitting around losing more money. Meaning they won't have any cash to even plan a comeback for anyone, let alone fund one. The only other option would be, of course, to disband XT (and maybe even Elris too). Let's be real, barely anyone even knows of XT's existance now. When they all get back in like 2023 (or later), who outside of hardcore stans is even going to remember them? IF they had a comeback, most people would probably think they're a new group debuing. And let's look at their ages; the members are currently 26-28 years old. Hoojon will be 30 by 2023 and the others close. Is Hunus really gonna put in any effort towards the 30 year olds they didn't properly promote when they were 21? I highly doubt it. Their contrcts may very well expire by then, and I HIGHLY doubt any of them will want to renew at that point.

So yeah. Basically, I think this is it for Xeno-T. I do not see Hunus doing anything with them after enlistment and I don't imagine the guys even wanting to continue with this company. It's just sad that they couldn't even do them justice, even after they failed them and went through the effort of trying to rebrand them. Hunus is truly the worst. I don't know what will happen, but I will always wish the boys the best.

any opinion on the current situation with seogoong? i've stanned topp dogg since their debut and still support them (though i don't blame anyone for leaving) but i'm very conflicted on how to feel in this situation. i have heard two stories, the one allkpop posted, and another which says allkpop took seogoongs words out of context and he never said he was bullied but that the members apologized and he forgave them. i know 99% of their remaining fans have now dropped them and.. maybe i should too (if they ARE bullies) but it's just very hard after going through all this for all these years. *sigh*
