I am making this post due to the fact that I am someone who has written a number of fanfiction stories on this website featuring a fictionalized version of Kris Wu. For anyone who has not been made aware, on today, November 25, 2022, the Chinese celebrity Kris Wu has been found guilty in court of three woman along with tax evasion. He will be sentenced to a total of 13 years in jail and then deportation following the sentence. This post is to give a statement on the situation. Even as someone who was never the biggest hardcore fan of him, seeing as I featured a character based on him, I felt it was only right to say something.

I will start by stating that I feel nothing but empathy for the victims and am very disgusted by Kris Wu's actions. I know there will be people who will belive until the day they die that he is innocent, but as of today he is guilty of by law in China. This case was very private for the most part and most information has not been and may never be publicly revealed. I am only here to state my opinion of the court's verdict and my desicion with my works. I cannot and will not support anyone who has been convicted in court of any crime.

As it relates to the content I wrote here, I've made my decision and I am not here to suggest what others should do, but I have made a choice that I will not be deleting any stories that I wrote featuring any character based off of Kris Wu. First of all, I feel it would be very cowardly to write these materials and then run to press the nuke button once the verdict has been made. I wrote them and I'm not just going to run to delete them after everything as if that'll change anything anyway. I will also not be editing any small comments or posts complimenting or praising the real individual in question or anything I said in a positive light back before all of this happened. I'm not here to pretend I never actually had some level of fondness toward this individual. I can only hold him accountable for his actions moving forward.

Second, even though this is obvious, I feel it should be emphasized that anything written on this site or similar ones by me or anyone else are FICTION. The characters may be loosely based on actual public figures, but in the end, they are fictional characters. The majority of my stories were written and published years before even the inital allegations against the actual public figure were made. I belive one was posted after the allegations, but before the arrest. I will admit, at that time, many people were unsure of the situation, including myself, I was unaware of most details and wasn't following the situation too closely. I went ahead and published it, and whether that was the right or wrong decision is neither here nor there now. I did it and will own up to it. The point is that these characters are not the actual individuals. The mere fact that Kris Wu and nearly every other character I wrote about was a homoual should be enough to show that these are works of fiction and are not real. Because of this, even though I am keeping these fictional stories up, I am not condoning anything the actual celebrity Kris Wu did. I don't consider anyone who chooses for any reason not to delete any stories featuring any fictional versions of individuals convicted of crimes are condoning anything they did. But I also fully understand anyone who chooses to delete everything featuring him.

If those in charge of this website choose to delete any stories featuring this man, I will accept it. Once again, I having nothing but empathy for the victims and pray they can heal. I will no longer be supporting anything by Chinese celebrity Kris Wu moving forward.
