APPEARANCE Mi-Hee is absolute gorgeous. It´s the first thing you notice about her. She´s tall and skinny with dark hair and a beautiful face. Her eyes are dark brown, but she often wears circle lenses that are usually green. She has the standard lobe piercings in her ears as well as an upper lobe. Because of her young age she has no other piercings and no tattoos. She doesn´t look exactly like your average korean, mainly due to the fact that she´s chinese by heritage, however she´s still considered immensely beautiful even by korean beauty standards.

Mi-Hee is an ESFP also known as the entertainer or the performer. She´s selfish, impatient and a little insecure. She makes mistakes, She´s out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle her at her worst, then you surely don’t deserve her at her best. If anyone is to be found spontaneously breaking into song and dance, it is Mi-Hee. She gets caught up in the excitement of the moment, and want everyone else to feel that way, too. She isn´t known for holding back and isn´t afraid to step outside of her comfort zone. She wants to experience everything the world has to offer. To her the world is meant to be felt and experienced. Truth is stranger than fiction, and she prefers to see and do than to wax philosophical about "what-ifs".

BACKGROUND Mi-Hee was born to two first generation chinese immigrants in Seoul, South Korea on March 24th 1999. When she was just five years old, her parents decided to try their luck at getting her into modeling as they had always been told how beautiful their daughter was. And they were successful. Very much in fact. And Mi-Hee loved it. She started working as a child model for the korean casting agency and international model management company Platinum Management which had been established back in 2001. She was always praised for her beauty throughout her childhood and she absolutely adored the attention that both her beauty and her modeling got her. Where some people may have been bullied for being a child model, Mi-Hee was envied. Everyone wanted to be her friend and get to know her, especially throughout middle and high school where Mi-Hee absolutely was the popular girl who everyone wanted to be like. The attention and the compliments could very easily have made Mi-Hee stuck up and cocky, however she had always been a very humble and sweet girl who didn´t flaunt her beauty and who didn´t let the compliments get to her head. And despite talking Mandarin at home with her parents, Mi-Hee quickly got the hang of the korean language, both through her education as well as through her modeling work. Here she had to talk korean and it helped immensely as neither of her parents were necessarily great at korean and so Mi-Hee often acted as their translator when she became old enough to. Mi-Hee had also always expressed an interest in and a love for music, in particular dancing. She would often just start dancing whenever there was music put on. And when a friend showed her various kpop songs and their choreographies in 2009, including Mister by Kara, Gee by SNSD and Sorry Sorry by Super Junior, Mi-hee was entranced. She wanted, no NEEDED to learn how to dance like that. Like the idols she could see on television. And so she went home and begged her parents to get her dance classes. And with the extra income they got from her modeling, Mi-Hees parents soon had enough money to let her start. However when Mi-Hee started at Seoul Foreign Language High School, she decided to stop the modeling. She knew that studying at Seoul Foreign Language High School would require most of her attention and she was more willing to give up the modeling than she was to give up the dancing. She loved dancing even more than she had ever loved modeling. But Mi-Hee quickly realized that money doesn´t grow on trees and her parents didn´t have enough money for her to both go to a private school and take dance lessons without the extra income from her modeling. And especially because she had heard some very good stuff about a new dance school that had opened up in Seoul, by the name of 1Million dance studio. And she wanted to go there. However it would not be cheap and as such Mi-Hee made her mind up. If she wanted to continue both dancing and studying at Seoul Foreign Language High School she would need to start modeling again. And so she set out to find an agency. She ended up at YGKPlus, a model management company owned by YG Plus, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment. Here she was also trained by Cha Seung-won to possibly become a future actor. Here she made friends with some of the YG Entertainment trainees who quickly discovered Mi-Hees love for dancing and would often allow her with them into the YG training rooms so she could practice. And one day one of these trainees decided to film Mi-Hee without her knowledge while she was dancing, and this trainee went straight to her dance instructor with the video. And this instructor saw something in Mi-Hee and took the video straight to Yang Hyun-suk himself. And he promptly decided that if Mi-Hee was interested she would be offered a chance to become an official YG trainee. This was in late 2015 and Mi-hee was overjoyed to hear the news. She accepted and became an official YG Entertainment trainee in early 2016. She stopped her dance classes and stopped modeling and focused purely on training her dancing, singing and rapping. However in the middle of 2017, Mi-Hee decided to leave YG Entertainment. At the time nobody knew why, however she had not given up her dream. She wanted to succeed and she wanted to become an idol. And so she auditioned for JYP Entertainment in late 2017 and made it in mainly based on her looks and her dancing. However training was no cakewalk for Mi-Hee. But she kept focus on both her training and her studies and in 2018 she graduated from Seoul Foreign Language High School.
LIFE STYLE Mi-Hee tries to live a mostly healthy lifesyle however living as a trainee makes it hard for her as most of her time is spent training, particularly training her dancing and her rapping. She lives at home with her parents as they don´t live very far from the JYP building and this means she doesn´t have to cook for herself. However at the start of the survival show she will probably have to move in with the other girls.
ROUTINE Mi-Hee has a fairly set routine. She wakes up very early at around 6 am. Immediately upon waking she usually goes for a morning run to keep her in good shape. She usually rund for a good hour before coming back home, showering and eating breakfast. She prefers running on an empty stomach as she feels better that way. She then walks to the JYP building at around 8.30 and if she has lessons she of course attends to these. Otherwise she spends her days training her choreography and dancing as well as her rapping. She also has language classes in both mandarin and english to become better at both languages as well as etiquette lessons in how to act in variety shows ans the like. Due to her past in modeling Mi-Hee also takes extra modeling lessons besides her training however this is an extra activity she has decided on. She usually trains until around 6 pm with no breaks except to drink water and pee. Then she eats a light dinner and goes back to training until around 1 am. Afterwards she walks back home, lets herself in as her parents are usually asleep at this time and goes straight to bed. This is around 2 am. She then wakes up at 6 again the next day. When she´s preparing for their showcases she will spend all her time preparing for that.
WEEKENDS Mi-Hee usually spends her saturdays like she spends the rest of her weekdays. Training. She´s determined to not become "just another pretty face" and wants to show people that she actually has talent, however she usually takes sunday off to relax as she knows that putting too much pressure on herself with no downtime at all will ruin her in the long run. She usually spends her sundays with her friends or just sleeping. She sleeps a lot on sundays to make up for the fact that she only gets aroung 4 hours of sleep every other day.

FAMILY
Parents / Hwang Zhi Ruo (mother) and Hwang Fei Hong (father) / Mi-Hee´s parents are her best friends. Growing up as an only child, Mi-Hee spent a lot of time with her parents and she loves them a lot. Especially because they enabled both her modeling and her dancing. Mi-hee and her parents don´t see eachother very much as she spends most of her time at the JYP building, but they often have a small chat before Mi-hee leaves to go to the JYP building every morning. Her parents mean a lot to her and Mi-hee doesn´t know what she would do without them.
FRIENDS
Friend but also not / Dolores Amira Campos / Amira and Mi-Hee are different in terms of personality. Where Amira is blunt and straightforward, Mi-Hee is conflict-averse and this often causes confrontations between the two. But the two also share a natural curiosity and Amiras humor and wittiness draws Mi-hee to her, especially due to the fact that Mi-hee is easily bored. The two also share a love for dance and this is also something the two of them often do together. The two however struggle to communicate with Amira´s limited korean and Mi-hee´s limited english, but they make do.
Brother from another mother / Jackson Wang / Jackson and Mi-hee share a lot of their personality. The two are energetic and have amazing people skills. Their bother utterly social and can be described as the life of the party. The two also share a care for other people and not only that but Jackson is one of the people that Mi-hee gets to speak mandarin with. They often spend a lot of their time just talking, but the two also share an enthusiasm that often leads them to make a mess of all of their surroundings. Jackson and Mi-hee could basically be siblings. He sought her out when he heard about a new trainee at the company with chinese heritage as there had been talk about Mi-Hee due to her beauty and her heritage.
jacksons boyfriend… Basically / Mark Tuan / Mark and Mi-Hee are quite different. But he´s another person whom Mi-hee can talk mandarin and english with instead of just korean and as such she likes talking to him to practice. He´s also one of the people that Mi-hee goes to whenever she needs to talk to someone about something serious as she knows he will take her seriously and actually help her. The two met through Jackson.
Stray Kids member / Woojin, Chan, Changbin, Minho, Jisung, Felix, Seungmin, Jeongin / Mi-hee shares an interesting relationship with the Stray Kids members. She´s closer to Chan, Jisung, Felix and Jeongin than the other members. She goes to Chan whenever she needs someone to talk to about something serious, much like how she uses Mark. She also practices her english with Chan. The same thing goes for Felix. Mi-Hee and Felix spend a lot of their time together dancing and Mi-hee also speaks english with him to practice. She also goes to Felix, Jisung or jeongin whenever she needs to be cheered up or she needs someone to be a mess and a total weirdo with.
MENTOR
With A Little Help From My Friends / Hwang Hyunjin / Mi-hee and Hyunjin share a last name which a lot of people laughed about when they learned that Hyunjin would be Mi-Hee´s mentor. They even laughed themselves. The two are quite different in terms of personality, but even then their love for dance has brought the two close. Mi-hee looks up to Hyunjin and admires his talent, but more than anything she admires how hard he´s worked to prove to people that he has talent and that he isn´t just a visual. That he actually deserves the position of main dancer and lead rapper. Mi-Hee would love to have his determination and she really admires and looks up to him.

PERSONALITY JB is generally a serious person. He is known to be "chic" and "cool", however this is not what he´s actually like. He gives off this passive, bad boy vibe that makes him so charming. He doesn't seem like someone who'll be too up in your face about things and is also not a show-off. Though when he gets angry, he will seriously flare up and might even get physical. He has been working on his temper however and has become much better at controlling it Being the leader of GOT7, he has the responsibility of taking care of the boys and making sure every member is accounted for. He has to lead the members in interviews and also set a good example for them and he is seen as the one who represents the whole group. This makes him more down to earth and serious than the other GOT7 members. He tends to avoid weird situations so that there won't be any rumours and watches his words well. He doesn't speak as much but when he speaks, it is always something that's insightful or just funny. However JB also has a dorky side most often seen in GOT7´s non-serious dance practices.
LOVE STORY The two met at the JYP building not long after Mi-Hee became a trainee at JYP. Mi-hee was immediately intimidated by JB because of his cool exterior and she kept her distance at first. However when Mi.hee got to know Jackson, by extension she also got to know JB and Jackson talked nothing but good about him. JB had noticed Mi-hee´s beauty and Jackson was aware of the fact that JB was mesmerized by Mi-hee´s beauty and as such he introduced the two to each other and they started talking. The two are quite different and as such they had quite a few confrontations at first, but due to Mi-Hee being so good with people she got him won over and the two kept talking, in particular about dancing as that´s a thing the two of them share.

RELATIONSHIP The two spend most of their time talking. Pretty much about anything. As mentioned they also have a shared interest in dancing and this is something the two talk about a lot. Their relationship is also quite teasing in nature. They aren´t in a relationship, but they´re talking and flirting quite heavily. JB often teases Mi-hee with how alike her and Jackson are. Mi-Hee often teases JB with his age. But Mi-hee often grinds JB´s gears as well mostly due to her personality. The two share a strong aesthetic sense and a love for this and this is also something the two of them spend a lot of their time talking about.
STAGENAME Mei - it´s the first part of her chinese name, and Mi-Hee prefers it to her korean name and as such it was fairly easy for her to choose Mei as her stage name. The chinese character used for Mei in her name also means beautiful which is quite fitting considering she is beautiful.

This annoyed Mi-Hee and in the end it took so much of a toll on her that she left YG. This was in the middle of 2017 and at the time nobody knew why she left. However she had not given up her dream. She wanted to succeed and she wanted to become an idol. And so she auditioned for JYP Entertainment in late 2017 and made it in mainly based on her looks and her dancing. She hoped things would be different here. However training was no cakewalk for Mi-Hee. She had school and she had training and it wasn´t easy on her. She spent most of her time training however even here she was constantly told that she didn´t have to try and that she would be fine just with her beauty. And then she met the Chan plotline. She was Mi-hee´s savior. She saw something in Mi-Hee and she encouraged Mi-Hee to keep training and becoming better. And with her help and support Mi-Hee kept focus on both her training and her studies. When she was told about the show Mi-Hee was overjoyed.
