Thoughts

So last week we got to spend some quality time with my boyfriend since it's his birthday and he don't have work. We go to a lot of places and I notice that I always see a BTS ad or a BTS merchandise. Im kind of glad that I'm not an Army because If we're an Army I would be really broke right now seeing all that stuff that makes you wanna buy them. I always see merchandise that they sell it at a way higher price because it's BTS .

The only “merch” I have for any group is albums. I only buy one, I don’t have money to be buying all the versions. & I have to choose carefully about which ones I actually want to buy. I understand making merch because it’s a fun thing for the fans who can buy it. The only thing I think is dumb is different versions of albums. That to me seems like just milking the fact they know some fans will buy every version. The only different versions album I support is when it’s different member versions. But things like gold version vs. black version I think is dumb.

Merch is for rich fans. Non rich fans just see ads and sulk. It's not only BTS who have merch, most groups have it - light sticks, version albums, stickers, calendars, stationary, cups, toys etc. I don't like how companies use fan's love to fill their pockets.
