at first glance daeun seems cold and kind of y because of her lack of interaction with people shes not familiar with and her resting face. however, as soon as you get to know her you'll realize that she's actually the complete opposite.
it doesn't take a while for daeun to open up to people, but you have to introduce yourself first. she's shy when it comes to befriending others but once they say hello she becomes an open book. the first thing you might realize is that shes quite curious and asks a lot of personal questions, not on purpose of course, she doesn't even realize that she's invading your privacy until you or someone else tells her. she might even be a little touchy such as clinging to your arm or holding your hand; giving people the impression that she's flirty and maybe a little desperate but she obviously doesn't mean anything of it.
if you couldn't tell already she's also a little too talkative, once she gets comfortable she starts blabbing away. it can be good for variety shows because she always has a story to tell, but then again she can't keep secrets so it for her members or anyone that decided to tell her some tea. but she lives for the drama so she somehow finds out everything, by somehow i mean she's probably eavesdropping somewhere.
but sometimes, some of the things that come out of you just gotta ??? huh ??? she's a little bit of an airhead so she laughs at the wrongt times, gets confused at things that aren't even confusing and makes random comments. for example, there can be a conversation going on about something serious and she's just staring into space thinking about something that happened weeks ago then whispers it to the person next to her.
coming from a wealthy background and being the only girl in the family, daeun always got whatever she wanted. basically meaning that shes an entitled lil brat. if she doesn't get what she wants right then and there then she definitely will throw a tantrum or she'll be in a mood for the rest of the day or until whoever did her wrong apologizes; and trust me, you don't want her to be in a mood.
how to tell when daeuns in one of her moods:
(1) she looks more y than usual
(2) she crosses her arms more often
(3) either she doesn't answer or she responds with one word answers
(4) she does little petty things like shoulder bumping the person that did her wrong by "accident"
(5) if a staff member does her wrong she puts little to no effort in performances
but when daeuns not in one of her moods shes a very funloving girl. it might be the whole rich family thing but she honestly couldnt care less for rules and will definitely do what she wants no matter what anyone says. its like what people say go through one ear and out the other and she just ends up doing what she wants anyways. if you befriend her she'll drag you around on little adventures without your manager knowing, it might be risky but what's so fun about following the rules anyways right?
contrary to her i don't care attitude, daeun is actually quite emotional. she would cry for the little things like making her members lose a challenge on a variety show, or hate from anti fans or when her members start fighting. but if someone with actual authority criticizes her or yells at her, she just crosses her arms and rolls her eyes.
honestly she sometimes feels like idol life is too much for her and she complains to her dad how she can't handle it, but all he has to do is buy her a handbag and she suddenly has motivation all over again.

daeun was at yg entertainment since she was 8 as a kid model doing photoshoots and commercials then she started acting in 2016. but it wasn't until july 2018 did daeun find her love for singing, she always loved karaoke but never took it too seriously. she even asked yg if she could become an idol instead but he declined since she was doing so well in acting and modelling. but it wasn't until her friend haon asked her to be on his song 'noah' when she discovered that singing was her true calling. soon after in december she made the decision to leave yg and audition for bighit since she heard they were debuting a girl group soon. on her birthday, december 25th she officially became a trainee at bighit.
her experience was interesting due to the fact that most people knew her already, they had a prejustice about her and she was never liked by girl anyways so making friends was tough. but daeun just worried about bettering her vocal abilities so she can debut, EVEN THOUGH SHE CRIED A FEW TIMES FROM ALL THE HATE TRAINEES GAVE HER. the little over a month that she trained at bighit, hasn't been easy. but she just tries her best to get by and get along with everyone with little encouragements from her supportive father as well.

lee daeun was born one month early in paris while her parents were in holiday. the only reason she was born was because her father wanted a daughter to spoil and thats exactly what he did. as soon as daeun was born she was given everything her little heart desired, her father was often busy and her mother was somewhere getting a manicure so her many maids took care of her every wish.
with two older brothers, daeun was always into sports which is the opposite of what her dad wanted. he always tried to set boundaries between what girls should do and what boys should do. so while her brothers were out playing with mud, she was with her mom getting prettied up. but this didn't stop her from playing with her brothers when her parents weren't around, little moments like these kept the three of them close throughout their whole childhood.
from the age of 8, daeun was signed to yg entertainment as a model where she appeared on many cfs and ads. but despite this she was never popular in school and only had one friend, yongjun, who helped her survive all those years at an international school.
once instagram got popular, daeun started posting herself and soon gained a lot of followers for her looks and even gained the attention of rapper rich brian in 2015 who was internet famous. the two soon started dating and daeun blew up gaining more followers than ever, netizens often said she was too pretty for him and the couple got a lot of hate because of looking weird together. even through it effected daeun, brain encouraged her to ignore it, they even met up a few times since they lived in different countries.
daeun was seen as an embarassment to korea because someone of such high family status ended up dating a poor kid from indonesia, there was even a story about it on the news. sadly, it was comments like this that ended their relationship, there was a rumor going around that she was dating co-star cha eunwoo despite being underrage and netizens had accumulated enough evidence to convince brian it was true.
the two were simply just friends but they were often paired for cfs and dramas because of their good looks so neither of their companies denied it to keep profits coming in. so the odd couple broke up in 2017 after two years and that's how the song glow like that was made. for a while daeun tried to stay out of the drama and just focused on her acting and modelling career. but she just randomly disappeared at the end of 2018 leaving everyone wondering where df is daeun???
as the oldest of the family, donghyun was always the man of the house and the smartest. he's very protective over his sister and is like her dad when thier actual dad isn't around. as soon as he walks in a room he just screams luxury, he's always dressed to the tee and very neat looking. not even a hair out of place, and he always has his assistant around to run errands for him. high maintenence indeed. he's kind of bossy yet fairly quiet and shy, especially around girls. he at talking to them and basically becomes mute when he sees someone pretty.
- Daehyun might not be the brightest person but hes definitely a genius when it comes to soccer. He went to many strict soccer camps all over the world in order to get to where he is now but that didnt put a damper on their relationship. These two are basically twins, hes like the male version of daeun but more outgoing. He talks to anyone and flirts with just about every girl even though his flirting ends up being a bunch of cheesy pick up lines. Theyre basically a loud mess so beware.
they met on set of reunited worlds and became good friends during filming, since they saw each other so often they hung out after filming when eunwoo was free. but the internet blew it out of proportion and after the whole break up they became awkward. but they still had to be paired up with each other for cfs and a mini drama series they did after reunited worlds ended because they were seen as the "it couple". they barely talk outside of schedules though and daeun tries to avoid him whenever she sees him.
these two haven't talked since the breakup. brian's still salty about what happened and so is daeun, they occassionally take jabs at each other thru social media though since brians being such a stubborn idiot. they're relationship turned more into hate than love.
they met in the bathroom at an award show. with her eyes half closed she walked into the boys bathroom instead of the girls and saw yoongi washing his hands. long story short she may have asked who he was despite him being in one of the most famous kpop groups then she ended up running out of the bathroom after finding out it wasnt the girlsroom. now everytime they see each other, he calls her sleepyhead and they bicker like an old married couple. she hates to admit that she has feelings for him tho.
they went to the same private school since elementary and have been best friends since. since daeun doesnt have any girl friends he was always there so she can rant to him and tell everyones secrets to him. when they're together they're inseperable and are probably talking about you even if you're in the room. everyones convinced they're together tho bc he basically does everything she asks and hes whipped af but she always goes eww at comments like that which hurts his pride.
