Hallyu waves is definitely taking over the global industry right now, even giving bigger impact than older gen vibes. Somehow, this remind me on how kpop or in general korean industry really get me into it on the first place.

Around 2013, i'm become a huge fan of Running Man as i've watched the very first ep on tv2 ( Malaysian channel). Since then, i started to know some idols, singers and actors that came on the show. Because of it, i become a kdrama lover, starting on The Strange Housekeeper series in OneHD. Back then in school, some of my friends were also stanning kpop boybands like SuJu and Beast. As i've become a korean "things" lover, my brother used to tease me with some of SuJu's hit songs like sorry, sorry and bonamana (Because of their catchy songs😂). I don't hate the song, but because of the tease, i don't actually into korean singers or idols huhu. Nevertheless, that song are actually stayed in my playlist for the longest time😂.

My younger sister and me literally like the same things, until she recommend me the series of Mask and Reply 1997. It turns out that she really like one of the actor in the series, Hoya. And Hoya makes her stan INFINITE, even until now.

And guess what? Me too, I've become an Inspirit because of her😂. But we have different biases, fortunately. I've become Lee Sungyeol stan, mainly because of his acting in series High School Love On. 

What makes me adore INFINITE so much is their live performance. Their pure live vocals and in sync choreo are always amazed me everytime. From the light choreo like Nothing's Over to hard choreo like BTD and The Eye, I just fell in love with all of their hits. I also have watched their variety show, and they really are dorks😂. I can watch it repeatedly and never get bored haha.

Yeah that's how I get into kpop. But only because I'm an Inspirit, that doesn't mean that I did not listen to other groups. I do know Shinee, SuJu, Beast and iKon, but INFINITE is kind of special in my heart 💓
