since valeria was a toddler, she showed talent in singing. and, since her parents would get her everything, they took her to one of england's finest vocal coaches when she was about 8.
also as a child, valeria took interest in the kpop singer, lee hyori. she basically worshipped her, and since she became a fan- she knew that she wanted to do just what lee hyori did; be the break out member in a famous girl group and continue on with an extremely successful solo career.
so, when she was 15, she told her parents of her dream to be a singer. they, obviously, did what their baby girl wanted. they would willingly give her the sun if she wanted to, who were they to suddenly deny her of something she wanted?
they moved to south korea quickly, and her parents asked her which company she wanted to be trained under. they expected sm entertainment, or jyp. but, no. she chose stone music. why? because that was the label that lee hyori was under when she first got into her music. her father, not wanting to risk his baby getting denied (though, she more than likely wouldn't have been) bribed the stone music ceo to take his daughter in right away.
